TV Ad promised NEW GRILL, great food - new and improved. The ads promote something a little more than it is. Anyway, one of our staff received a $10 coupon. With some reservation, we agreed to try it. I gave it a 3 because they enjoyed their lunch and for the price, they felt it was hard to beat. My fish was good, but the blackeyed peas and green beans tasted like canned. SUGGESTION > Turn up the lights! Horribly dark. The sentiment was universal. If you want to upgrade your clientele and move away from the beer joint category, the lights need to come-up to show off your remodel. Your remodel has nothing to hide. Too much Beer Joint atmosphere with the dank darkness feel. Increasing lighting is definitely the right step to achieve a better crowd and reputation.
