They don't give you enough food for what they charge anymore.

Chicken noodle soup was so salty. This is the second time it's happened. We won't go back.

Newly remodeled and looks beautiful....great home cooked specials everyday!!!! And even a full salad bar...open 7 days a week from 5 am to 9pm...great family place!!!!

I used to work at Ceres Solutions down the street, their food is good, and if you call an order in it usually only takes 10 minutes to for it to be ready to pick up! Their Burgers are great! Only complaint is they should by all means offer free refills on pop, it only costs like 3 cents to fill a glass but they want like 50 cents a refill. I usually order lemonade instead to get around this, their lemonade is great on a hot day! Would recommend.

Good grub at reasonable prices. Not the fanciest, but very accommodating. The service is pleasant and helpful. Attentive, but not overly so.

Had a great lunch here on our way to Michigan. Would definitely stop here again, both for the good food and down home atmosphere.

The best patty melt I ever had. Quality rye bread and beef. Salad bar all home made....super great. Highly recommend a jaunt to Start City.

The food was extremely bland. No seasoning or even salt and pepper. I tried 3 different meals plus the soup and salad bar. They did not drain the grease out of any of the beef items. Spaghetti sauce, hamburger casserole, or the mac n burger soup. The salad bar consists of shredded lettuce, eggs, onion. No tomato, no cucumber, no celery, no carrots, no mushrooms. Plenty of potato salad, macaroni salad, bean salad, and other mayo based salads which all taste the same. This place used to have pretty decent food for great prices. Now it seems like they are really cutting corners to save money anywhere they can. Our waitress was sweet though.

Nice small town restaurant with well priced daily specials, large servings, nice salad bar and friendly service.

The atmosphere was fine and the customer service was okay but nothing extraordinary. The cheese curds were hot and fresh but there was lots of grease on the plate. The breaded tenderloin and the chicken and noodles were both very bland and didn't seem to be seasoned at all. Prices seemed to be typical. There was an extremely dusty table fan and the salt and pepper shakers both needed cleaned. I don't think we'll be going back.

This place is great. Everybody is friendly and the food is Awesome.

When you think of mom and pop restaurants, this place is the definition. Warm homecooked meals, friendly servers, great food, and very family friendly. Definitely recommend their fish!!!!

The Star City Oak Grove is one of the friendliest restaurant I have ever been to. Great food and even better drinks. A great place to take you family for any meal. Wheel Chair accessible. Family friendly. Would reccomend.

had chicken and dumplins with glazed carrots. it was good.. filled my belly that's for sure. really busy on the weekends for breakfast. we went early on a wed bout 430, we beat the evening crowd for dinner. been here several times and will go back again to this quaint americana diner.

First, the staff is FANTASTIC!!! Then there's the food, seriously some of the best breakfast I've had in a restaurant. I like strawberry jelly but got grape and mixed fruit. I asked if they had strawberry, she picked up my jellies and said, I'll bring ya some.
