Oak grove is one of the most influential experiences I've had, compared to the other residential treatment facilities I've been to oak grove was a breeze. hardly any rules and very easy going staff. I became president of the interact club and accomplished many things that helped the communities around oak grove. I did not experience the residential experience at oak grove (i was day treatment) but from what i heard the residential kids got it so very easy.

I went to oak grove back in 2001 thru 2002 it was a good place back when i went there i liked robin who was in charge of dorm b and i loved christy she was amazing and made amazing friends that im still in contact with till this day

I was there for 3 months and the staff in dorm c were amazing and they helped me a lot and they really cared about the residents there

So I was there from April 2019 to June 2020 and it really helped me. I feel like the staff really care and they really made my stay there good. All the staff are really nice as long as you show them respect. The program works for people who will at least give it a shot and make a change. I learned alot and I will always remember my experiences there.

oak grove was a good school. the teachers helped you when ever you needed it. The school is really good I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and i worked very hard thank you oak groves staff.the staff is committed to what they do. the staff is really reasonable at there job.

*** PARENTS PLEASE RECONSIDER IF YOU'RE LOOKING INTO SENDING YOUR STUDENT HERE*** LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR HELP*** My daughter has been attending this facility as a residential student and so far after 3 years of hard work and proper care my daughter is back to square one. Within these 5 months my daughter has had two major suicide attempts, has awol from the campus and staff will sit there and do nothing. I have spoke to school officials as well and they don't fix any issues a parent will complain about. They lack in communication and supervision. You will not be notified about any small or major incidents. They will insist in helping your child only to make matters worse. They claim they can help your child but in reality your child will only get worse by the day. I've had my son as well attend here for behavior issues and he only got worse. So I had his district transfer him to an out of state school in Utah. And let me tell you that was the best decision ever. My son has done a complete 360 turn around in the out of state school and has succeeded expectations. My daughter came from a level 14 structure facility in Utah to only find herself back to what got her into a residential care facility to begin with. She was doing great prior to stepping down to this school to transition back to the home. They have completely brain washed her and now is in danger. I've done everything possible for school officials to hear me out. It doesn't matter what the case is. They will try keeping your child here as long as they can. They will destroy there morals, principals and values. They teach your student they have rights and to disrespect parents. They will destroy your child. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! If your child has mental issues or behavior problems PLEASE SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE!! FROM A PARENT TO ANOTHER PARENT***

If you want your child to learn anything DO NOT send your child here! My son is above average intelligence and has a social, emotional delay. He started here in 5th grade. For 3 yrs they had him doing 3rd grade work because it was easier to just keep him where the rest of the class was. I did not know this until last year. Starting 2 years ago they started being problematic about his transportation, not showing up, lying, things like that. This school year I never heard from them. Called them at the end of August to find out that school was starting in a week! Only spoke to transportation that time. Since then I have called Athene, the director, and left multiple messages. No response. Completely ghosted. They have been just marking him absent everyday, according to the district office. The district can't even place my son at another school because he has counseling as part of his IEP. Which makes no sense. He hasn't even received his counseling or group services in almost 2 yrs. Last year the counselor called a couple times then just stopped. So this child has definitely been getting "left behind". His education does not matter. They're funding seems to be the ONLY thing important to them.

I asked them: what s your policy if two kids get into a fight?

They responded: we let them fight as long as it entertains us.

Most of the kids here went to juvenile hall at some point. This place isn t safe for kids.

My little cousins came here the teachers and staff are great they work well with everyone and she s very antisocial but she was placed here and she left her shell alot thank you
