Oak Brook Hills Hotel Review

I attended a seminar at this hotel, the grounds are lovely. If I ever have an occasion to go to Oak Brook again, I would stay there.

Gorgeous views, a spa and the restaurant food is delicious! Great place to get away & relax!

I Was There For A Workshop. I Know They Have Some Elegant Rooms. This Place Is Really Beautiful For Weddings, Parties And Other Social Events.

Our company had an employee engagement meeting there. The food they provided was good, the staff was professional, and the facilities were clean and professional looking.

Older hotel, but clean and comfortable as expected from Hilton.

This Hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in, 5 out of 5 couse I cant give it more, The Rooms are immaculate everything was perfect, the lobby, bar, gym, pool and common areas a meticulously maintained, Breakfast buffet was great with a great variety, definitely my new hotel when I visit Chicago...

Had a corner unit with nice view of the golf course. Couldn't get the room cold enough to my liking though.

Team at B in particular are awesome

I wish I could give them less than one star. The women at the reception were incredibly rude. They did not allow us to check in early even though it was clear that there were rooms available. We made the reservation a month ahead. We had to suffer for hours after a 14 hour drive with no sleep.

I attended a ballroom dance competition at the Hilton. The room was lovely. Wonderful decor an atmosphere.

Its a beautiful hotel with lots of parking. There's a mall close by. I was there for a spa event. The meeting room was nice and spacious. Hotel staff was nice. I wouldn't mind staying for a few nights.

Amazing out door pool and hot tub that runs the length of the pool!!! Indoor pool as well with saunas through each bathroom in the pool area. Beautiful hotel, and a friendly and accommodating staff too. I had to make a last minute change and they helped me no problem at all. (above and beyond really) The only thing was there is really only one way in to the hotel and it makes it a bit difficult for parking, but not bad. There are 4 elevators so there really is no wait to get upstairs. I wasn't sure when we checked in if it would be a problem with our 6 year old as it was very fancy, no problems at all! They even have a game room! Would definitively recommend this hotel for anyone great and small.

Our room was on 10th floor, and it was hot and stuffy the whole time, even tho we had thermostat on 60. starbucks wasnt open in morning, and coffee maker didnt work. They tried to charge us $50 to use the pool. Horrible stay, we will never return. This place sucks.

This hotel has absolutely gorgeous grounds, a great pool and golf course. Our room was obviously remodeled in the past 3 to 4 years and was immaculately clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Since we're there to attend an offsite wedding we didn't have any food. Suggestions, another hook in the bathroom for towels and my perennial senior citizen wish, a magnifying mirror

Went to a wedding here. Amazing service. Very nice and classy banquet hall. The staff was very helpful.

We called the hotel prior to checking in to ensure we had adjoining rooms and and confirmed where to check in for the pool. We were informed we did not have a "pool package" which was a $100 per room upgrade. Not once was there ever a pool package listed through Hilton's website, the hotel's own webpage, or even a 3rd party vendor. We spoke with the hotel directly the night before and confirmed our reservation and pool availability and were told we just needed to check in for the pool.
Today we were told it was listed on their website,...which it isn't...ANYWHERE. This is the only disclaimer that remotely addresses the pool..
"Some hotel services may not be available or may be limited during your visit. The following services and amenities are available, but with reduced service: Fitness Center, Breakfast, On-site Restaurant(s), Pool, Spa. The following services and amenities are currently not available: Executive Lounge, Room Service."
This was supposed to be a fun night out to celebrate our anniversary with our kids. The hotel claimed this "new" process was fair to use the pool...I do not think price gouging someone is fair. I have a normal salary like most. I'm not a wealthy executive, a lawyer or a doctor. I do not have a disposable income to drop $100 per room to have the 'privilege'of watching my kids play in a pool for a few hours. Thank you for ruining our plans. I will cancel my Honors membership out of principle.

The view from the room was great. The room was very clean. But there was barely any service. This I know was due to Covid-1 and a shortage of staff. My only problem was the extra charge to use the pools. This hotel is rated at 4 stars but I'd say more like 3.5 stars. This is due to the early checkout time 12:00pm and the fact that the rooms lack a microwave. We ate at some very expensive restaurants had to dump the leftovers because we had no way of reheating them. All in all it was a decent stay.

Absolutely the best hotel the have the nixes pools and a lot more things

While I only went there to see family, the t.v. was unreliable with guide and channel selection

Nice hotel. Front desk staff were nice and pleasant. The room was cozy and clean with a nice view looking at the golf course. I gave 4 stars because the AC in the room wasn't working properly.

We went for the Father's Day bbq lunch. Nice hotel, clean. Good service. However, expected a bit more for the price in terms of the activities. Food was not hot but good flavor.

I was there to attend a wedding and the hall was magnificent. The hotel was very beautiful and unexpectedly professional. The only issue I had was that the bathrooms were too far. Otherwise it was very upscale and gorgeous to be in.

Great hotel if you only need a room for 4 people, they refuse to provide a roll away bed for a 5th guest. They handled the screaming kids next door quickly. The food is okay, for our event some options of kid friendly foods would have been greatly appreciated. All in all beautiful place and nice staff.

Always a good time. I know some people have complained about security asking to verify that they are a guest being rude, he has always been polite to us. I have observed inappropriate behavior and heard rude comments, but they have been from the "guests". The same "guests" that take 4 to 6 towels each, then leave them for someone else to pick up. The towels are huge, I've seen some big people there but not that big. The food at the "B" is always fantastic. I don't know why they advertise the snack shop downstairs and not the "B". I have been going several times during the summer for the past few years and like I said, always a good time.

We had our Women's Conference here for the 4th year and it was incredible as always!

This was a great stay. Everything was clean and updated. Had a good vibe to the place. The area felt safe. Would definitely stay again.

Went here to see the fireworks show. We had a great time. The staff was great. Will be back.

Nice hotel. We had a work conference here. I had a beautiful view over the golf course! The shower was very nice and the customer service was top notch. VERY impressed!!

Wonderful hotel to enjoy 4th of July fireworks as they can be viewed if you have a room with a golf course view. Service was good and the rooms are modernized.

Very upscale hotel for the rates, the rooms are clean and the wifi was fast. Very pleased overall with the hotel. May have just been my room, but there was no fan inside the bathroom exhaust vent, so the bathroom steamed up quickly after a shower.

The rooms and surroundings were GREAT! I was there for a conference and had zero issues with the staff or accommodations. However, the food was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE at the in-house restaurant. Wood fired artisan pizza for $6 on Happy Hour, drinks were moderately priced on Happy Hour and the staff was superb! There were a few hiccups that made me give 4 stars instead of 5 (Google apparently doesn't allow half stars) and it was that our lunches were served in the rooms we met in and weren't all that great. My company did a Chicago Dog bar with hamburgers for those that preferred beef and frankly (no pun intended) the meal was gross. The dogs were dried out, the burgers were tough and obviously cooked hours earlier and kept warm. Overall, the meals served by the catering were less than stellar but the food I got in the real restaurant was AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about the restaurant staff and bartenders for being much friendlier than most folks I've met from the windy city. Kudos.

Beautiful place. Food was okay. Other than Anya, service was pretty horrible.

Lunchen Banquet serve was poor. Our waiter left out tabel because his shift had finished. There was no supervision of tabels so no one to replace our waiter.

Attended 4th of July firework show and it was excellent! Food prices were reasonable and the entertainment was superb! Definitely doing this next year!

Excellent hotel and excellent service! Beware if you are allergic to feather pillows though, you need to ask for foam.

Great place for conferences I've not actually stayed in the rooms I've only been there for coaching clinics. Plenty of parking right next to the golf course and by a close good downtown area.

My wife and I took the kids to B Restaurant for lunch. Great food and views, wonderful staff.

Hotel is perfect and has beautiful landscape. My only negative feedback would be that the pool water was very unclean it was full of sand/dirt, dead insects and leaves.

Nice hotel and conference center. The amphitheatre is a good fit for our sales meetings. Staff are helpful and efficient.

We had a wheelchair accessible bathroom when we went to shower there was water everywhere! We spoke to someone about the water and needing more towels right away...an hour pass no one shows up I called the front desk she said someone would be sent up right away 30 minutes pass no one shows up...mind you we paid $170 to be at a event at the hotel plus paid for 3 rooms! Anyways I then go to the front desk the lady seemed so annoyed told me she would put another order in for my room and if I wanted towels right away that I could walk over to the pool and get some myself! By this time we are already an hour late everyone is all dressed up in the hotel headed to the event. And I still need to shower! When I get to my room there is a engineer there who says the layout of the shower is wrong and there is nothing he can do to stop the water from going all over the place! Then a house keeper comes with two towels and gets annoyed by the amount of water on the floor I told her what the engineer said she gets up the water...I tell her that my fiance has showered but I still need to shower what should I do! She is still annoyed and says she dont know and leaves! All the while my fiance is talking to the hotel manager and she also says she dont know what we can do! So I had to bathe by sink in our room that had wet carpet and we were 2 hrs late to our event. So overly annoyed with the lack of hospitality.

My room was clean and comfortable. The service was very nice. And the Marquis Ballroom was a great venue.

Great for a little in the city getaway. 2 pools... How tub could be hotter.
