What a great time and stay. The comfy bed helped me sleep just right and didn't wake up stiff. Having restaurants and golf and games on-site was a great experience. I only wish the weather was a little better so I could have taken in all the amenities. The staff and cleaning crew we're very friendly and helpful. Will stay again next trip.

It's ok. Found paper towels in my bed and the walls are thin and could here the couple in the President's Suite every night. The breakfast is overpriced and just better than the Hilton Garden Inn, in my opinion.

We got to the hotel at 2:30 pm checked in they told us the room would be ready before 4:00pm. Went for drive and had lunch. Got back to hotel at 4:30pm. They said room was not clean yet but we could have a couple drinks on them. We put our luggage in a storage closet and sat down in lobby. At 5:00pm we checked again but were told the same.At 5:30pm we checked again and offered more drinks. At 6:30pm we finally got to speak to a manager who went up to room to find out what was going on. He returned and told us they were waiting for the robes to be replaced. Our leftovers were ruined and the room was missing the frig and sheets for one bed.7:00 pm we made it in the elevator made noise all night and the light coming in around the drapes made sure we were out of bed by 6:00am

Nice hotel, it's kept up well. Couldn't ever really get a straight answer from anyone on staff, though -- from problems with early check-in to issues with what was or wasn't included in a room service item for breakfast, it seemed the staff was divided. Someone from one department would blame someone else from another department for the problem. The groom in our wedding party had a similar issue with the bridal suites being incorrect, given the runaround for check-in.

All-in-all it's a lovely hotel to have a party or play a round of golf, but there's definitely some staff problems that surely have something to do with management.

The staff is rude, the breakfast is lackluster and cold, and the showers are painfully loud. I wouldn t recommend this hotel to anyone.

What surprised me the most was the treatment of guests by a security guard. He was scolding guests for being in the lobby area, despite it being a Saturday night, and using foul language. It was incredibly inappropriate for what you would think is a high-end hotel.

Quick and friendly check in. Room was spacious and clean but one thing to be aware of: the bathroom is TINY, to the point the door rubs the toilet as it's closed. Pet friendly was fantastic while visiting family over the holidays, quite a few pets were there at the time.

I went to a wedding at this hotel last night. We were running late and did not know where to go. So I decided to go up to a gentleman who worked there to see if he had any information to give us about where the wedding was held. (Mind you we have never been here and are not from that area.) He then proceeded to say "I now pronounce you man and wife. There." He then rolled his eyes and walked away, not only that but all night this dude was walking around giving us dirty looks. All we could do was stare and ask why? Why did this dude have to be so rude. We saw him acting that way towards many other people. It ruined the experience at this beautiful hotel. It just made it uncomfortable to walk around. We will never ever be coming back due to the rudeness of that staff member, especially because there were other staff around that just let him speak to us in that way. Watch out for a tall man standing in the front right as you walk in, he might say something even worse to you.

Great location, room and service. Love hanging out in the lobby, nice sized pool (though colder than we'd have like for the winter months), and a nice sauna in the locker room. Nothing bad to say, love getting to stay here when visiting the area.

Rat Pack new years eve weekend with the girls. Best time. Steven resort manager 1class. We celebrated our wedding reception here 22 years earlier. Loved every second. Upgraded rooms with a downtown Chicago flair. #hiltonoakbrookhills

I am an avid traveler and A rewards holder for Marriott, Holiday Inn and Hyatt, as well as Hilton... I literally stay in hotels every week and have never had this issue. My company uses a centralized billing system through our own travel agency. Using this we book all hotels with my company s American Express. When checking in I was told that my entire stay, along with a $75 per night deposit had to be held on my personal card and that my personal card would have to be charged at the end of my stay. Obviously thinking this this was some sort of misunderstanding I asked if we could talk with the manager to see what could be done. Well Manager Matt Greenberg was rude and not accommodating at all. He said, I m not sure how other hotels do it, but here at Hilton, we must have a hard copy of the card as if I was ignorant. I again let him know that my company uses this system and have never had any issues with other Hilton properties. He then changed to I m not sure how other hotels do it, but here at the Hilton Oakbrook Resort, we must have a hard copy of the card
I let him know that this was not possible and asked if I would have to cancel my reservation if I didn t have the card. He said, yes, unfortunately. But I will be happy to cancel it for you so that you can stay somewhere else
This is unreal to me... but I guess that s why this beautiful property wasn t busy in comparison to the surrounding hotels. I ended up paying $40 more a night and booked a the Hyatt. Hilton was my first choice, but unfortunately next time I visit this part of the Chicago metro, I won t be using Hilton.

It was a very nice place but the air conditioning in the foyer for the cocktail hour and ballroom was not working efficiently and it was very warm. While they did try to fix the issue they were unable to resolve it.

Came to bring my kiddos for a treat the weekend before school starts. Trusted the Hilton name and reputation as a high quality place. Obviously you take risks going out anywhere, but I am/was totally appalled. As soon as we walked in, people behind the plexiglass were not wearing masks. Cleaning crews -masks pulled under their noses, people working with the drinks at the pool - masks pulled down below their faces. Guests everywhere without masks and no one enforced their own widely posted notices about mandatory mask wearing in public spaces. Special treat was an older guy with an actual mask on walking towards the pool, past the outdoor restaurant, taking his mask down and spiting copious amounts of brown liquid *twice* into the yard who the. continued into the pool area.

The pool was very crowded, no crowd control at all. The first time we swam was 2pm for 15 mins as there is no monitoring who is coming or going (other than to take down the Covid release form, of course) and people taking chairs out of the indoor area to put outside because people are pushing all the outdoor ones together for their groups. Which is whatever but the fact people are able to just do whatever to get a seat and no one is caring about actual spacing or patron numbers is pretty concerning. The second time we tried to swim it was 6pm in the evening and we had our temperatures checked by a guy with his mask under his nose. The kids swam for less than 5mins because the pool itself was gross. Literal debris and grime floating around, and not just a thing here or there. Filthy. I will never come back here and will definitely think twice about ever booking Hilton again. All risk and no gain.

So far awful. Arrived for a conference, went to check in and while bringing up my reservation Patrick informs me that computers aren t working. Not a big deal. He suggests that I go check in for the conference and come back. They will hold my bags, no charge. I check for the conference and grab lunch. I get in line, I m about 8th in line since there is only 2 people working check in. I get Patrick again. He asks to see my ID again, that s fine, but his attitude was more like I don t care about this person in front of me and didn t seem to remember that I was just there. Didn t offer to get my bags, didn t tell me how to get my room (I have never stayed at this property) and nothing about wifi. I proceed to get my bags and had to finally ask the bellman if he could get them. He was waiting in the foyer for someone to bring a car around. Rooms are just ok. I don t stay at many Hilton properties these days, did at one time. Arrogance is the only would that comes to mind as to how to describe the hotel staff. I ve only met 2 employees and but the conference can t be over soon enough. Part of customer service is remembering names, faces and situations.

Wife and I had a professional event there. The place is gorgeous. Tons of conference rooms, nice furniture outside of the ball rooms, and the views on the outside or our room looking through the windows was fantastic. Definitely would recommend here for any event.
