O'Toole's Restaurant & Pub Review

This place is really fun! They have live music regularly and a nice bar to sit at. The food is always delicious, hearty, and large portioned. The clientele there is mostly middle to older aged folks but I still enjoy going as someone in their mid 20s.

Always great food ! The live band the TATERs was excellent. Authentic Irish pub. Try the reuben egg rolls, they are the best. Not a single bad item.on the menu. Come and b.c enjoy the great food. You simply can't go wrong with any food item you order. The food is consistently delicious and the home town vibe cannot be beat. My coworkers and I are now lunch time regulars and we are always thrilled with the taste, portion size, price and service!!

The music was awesome and the local crowd was even better. Warm, inviting, and hilarious. I love this tavern.

they have a steak dinner special that is reasonably priced. The bench seats are worn out. This is an old school place. Smells sort of smoky. Family friendly. I would go again to support local or else we will only have Chili's left to visit.

Shepherd's Pie was why I went and could use improvement. Served cold.

Forget the chain restaurants, this is the best made from scratch food in Richmond, and the beer and cocktail menus are endless.

My husband and I came in and we're pleasantly surprised by how affordable and friendly the staff was. Mel was our server and she was amazing thanks for the great service!

If your looking for an old school Irish pub, look no further. Food was good for the price. I was told that the bar (seating) is still open in COVID times. I miss bar seating. Beer assortment was good and service was fast and friendly.

Cozy spot with friendly wait staff in an Irish setting. This place could get you with a quick turn n burn meal, hanging out for drinks, or closing a night with live music in an authentic environment. I look forward to my next visit.

Been going to O'Toole's since I arrived in Richmond way back in 1984. Great place to eat and great food. U gotta go there if u haven't already

Nice quiet cozy place that was my 1st time there very pleasant staff and the bartender Tony was awesome the fried shrimp and broccoli was DELICIOUS very nice and friendly customers as well I would recommend that if you're traveling through Richmond this is a must stop spot I will definitely come back

First time, menu seems very big. Got a patty melt and asked for it medium well. Came bloody and cold in the middle. Waiter corrected it by taking my plate back to kitchen. Mind you I already took two bites out of it. They brought it back, same sandwich, somehow greasier. Did they put my partially eaten sandwich back on the grill?! Yes they did. How often does this happen? On top of that it was just oily and needed salt. Service was fine and drink prices are ok (but they aren t pints). Appetizers I got were fair for just fried stuff.

Awesome place to eat!! I loved my experience here, it's such a nice and friendly place to eat at. I'm a very picky eater, and I have never had actual gravy before until I ate here for the first time. It. Was. Spectacular! The waitress held up a really pleasant conversation with me and suggested some dishes; I tried one that she recommended and I LOVED it. The decor is spectacular as well! Overall, a phenomenal place to visit: 5 out of 5 stars!

Food was not great, edible but not worth the money. I felt the restaurant was not very clean. Could use a good cleaning and menu changes.

A mainstay for many years, O'Tooles is that place you end up coming because it's familiar and it has good food. The fair is pub insured menu with some specials and additions for those that are not sandwich eaters. Always good service, the food is good and the atmosphere is charming.

We used our groupon here and loved the food. Our waitress was great, friendly and fast. We tipped very well and will be back for more.
