It's been about 40 years since I was last here and it has not changed a bit since then. And that's a good thing.

This is one of the last great family-owned neighborhood restaurants and watering hole.

The food is generous, excellent and reasonably priced.

The service is exceptional, friendly and down home.

Don't expect fancy. This place doesn't know the meaning.

Do expect to enjoy the break from chains.

Let's just say my experience was not exactly enjoyable like it used to be my London Broil was mainly fat felt like I was chewing the pig. I might as well head had had bacon. Not quite like how it used to be back in the days however well I used to drink so maybe I never tasted the food probably

This might be an alright place if you are a local. I heard the bartenders call a couple of people by name. I however was basically ignored. I did manage to order a beer and a meal. The patty melt was good, however the onion rings were cold. I was going to sample a couple of whiskies they had, but like I said, the bartenders spent more time talking to the two or three customers they seemed to know real well. So I finished my beer, paid and left. I guess I'll look for another place when I visit Richmond next time. Good luck.

There is not enough room to go on about O'Toole's! Great food, great people, THE PLACE TO BE for ST. PATRICK'S DAY! I've love their O'Burger, it's so juicy and flavorful! I love their onion rings! My kids love the chicken tenders and mac-n-cheese!

Attentive staff, great menu, cool spot. Have had cold food twice in my one week visit from out of town, obviously due to understaffing. They quickly remedied the problem, and the food was great. I'll try again on the next visit and hopefully give that extra star. Stopping in to watch football had a great bar experience two days after the dinner that wasn't what I hoped for. My opinion, well worth a try. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, tasty food. Parking looked limited until I saw the signs allowing parking behind the bank next door. Plenty of room. Looking forward to next visit.

Parking is usually never an issue. Wait staff are on top of it. We usually hit this place after at work. Decent prices for food and drink. Good draft list including some local breweries. Only 4 stars for the neighborhood. Not exactly the best.

Tuesdays they have a half off burger night. The staff is awesome and accommodating. We usually have a large group and they always take good care of us. Definitely a place to get a good burger at a reasonable price

Used to live within walking distance of this pub years ago so decided to see if it was still as good as I remembered. It is still awesome! Prices are reasonable and food is great. No other bar offers a flight of four 4oz pours for $6!

I went on a a Saturday, and late afternoon. Customer traffic was steady. I had the Prime Rib sandwich, with a side of pickled beets. And to drink, I had a dark beer that just right hint of the taste of gingerbread. Everything was great! The waitress that served me was friendly and efficient. However, the host that greeted me could have been a little more friendly. It seemed like he was not happy to be there.

Great appetizers, wonderful sandwiches, great prices. Saturday entertainment was Patchwork (occasionally same lead there as Whiskey Bizness) and was outstanding. Add it to your MUST VISIT list for Saturday evenings.

Always a great place for lunch. We have had dinner there once. Lunch much more often. On Sunday the menu includes both breakfast and lunch. The lunch menu runs the gambit from salads to great burgers, sandwiches to casidas. Save room for the peanut butter pie or the carrot cake. The service is always friendly and very helpful. For us it is not on our usual path; but always worth the trip.

I've recently started coming here a lot and now a friend and I have declared this our favorite meeting spot. The bartenders are fast, always on point, and kind. The food is good but could work on the biscuits and gravy for brunch. All in all this is a 5 star spot for sure!
