This was a really nice place. We came at a good time when it wasn't too crowded and we received fast and friendly service. The food was good and the prices were reasonable for New York City.

I always stop purchasing some food in here. I liked the efficient service and well prepared food. I recommend this place.
Friendly Irish pub with good food and quick service
They served a great burger and fries and the service was incredible. I went there with my boss to have a few drinks and lunch and it was an excellent time. I will definitely be back .
bar tavern in midtown Manhattan off of Broadway, it gets crowed but good hang out.
We went to O'Lunneys for dinner today due to the many good reviews. The quality, as already described in the other reviews, was very good and the prices are also reasonable. There is a star deduction for the abnormal volume in the restaurant. We have never seen anything like it. A conversation is not possible and you have to shout to communicate. So unfortunately you cannot enjoy the good food. It's a shame !!

There is something about Irish pubs. Good, wholesome food and friendly service. O'Lunney's is no exception. If you are in Times Square and want a place to grab a bite, look no further. And try the goat cheese and apple salad
This is such a nice and cozy bar with amazing bartenders and amazing drinks! Definitely a must if you are out late late in NYC!!
Local watering hole. Good wings and friendly bartenders.
The menu has changed. My usual order the chicken bites are nothing like they used to be.
Shocking service from bar staff. After 2 pints we were told we couldnt buy anymore alcoholic drinks as we were too intoxicated, which was total nonsense! I asked if we could buy food at 10pm and was told the kitchen was closed, however at about 10:30 4 customers walked in and bought food. Blatant lie from the barman and no justification as to why he lied, when I asked the manager why i was told the kitchen was closed, I was told it was a misunderstanding, nonsense! Would not recommend this place to anyone as the staff are completely arrogant and unhelpful.
Very authentic Irish food. Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie, stews, and more.
Fast service, friendly staff. Medium range for prices. Old-fashioned pub atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for families and visitors!
Decent food and they had a good brunch menu, which was exactly what we wanted! Pleasant surprise.
Terrible service. Waiter was very unfriendly and it seemed like we were wasting his time when we were deciding what we wanted to order. We came a long way to be treated very unfriendly. Come on this is a tourist city. I expected better service.
This place is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the cooking they cook is so good. I never decline to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.
Spent a wonderful evening relaxing and drinking beer here with my girlfriend. The bartender was quick and never left us dry. I had a place to plug in my phone which was very helpful since I wanted to keep taking pictures of New York City. The atmosphere is cozy and feels somewhat private. Great beer selection, would visit again to try more.
Love going here when Tom is performing! Hes an amazing guy and musician!
Atmosphere was good, great service but food was under par for the prices.
Easy to get in ,order and leave.inexpensive menu for basics.drinks are more.pint of anything $8 mimimum
Way too packed on St. Patrick's day, but a nice bar nonetheless
A huge Irish pub in midtown on 45th street - the food is satisfactory, but nothing special beyond pub grub.
We stopped here for a late lunch before a Sunday matinee. The service was good and the food was excellent. Very good for a restaurant that we picked
For it's location.
Cheddar bacon burger and fries very good. Dad had the Irish onion soup and loved it. My buffalo chicken wrap was good. Price was fair and service attentive
Excellent service. We went in for a quick dinner and drink before the show. They made room for us, gave us quick service, and we were out in 1/2 hour.
Friendly, charming staff and excellent food. Best place in Times Square for New Year's Eve.
great place for late night food and drinks, host and waitstaff were especially helpful and friendly..food was delicious!
Nice wait staff a lot of choice from beer, good food
We were in Times Square, and we were thirsty, the first place that could serve us beer was this bar.
I recommend it for drinks, we have nothing to do except beer.
Me and my husband always have a great time when we come here. The drinks are always great and the food's delicious. Service is good as well. Awesome pub!!
Always good service, attentive & helpful. Recommend for both casual & expedited meal if attending a show in neighborhood. Staff will tell you what comes out quickly if tight for time. Several craft beer selections along with old school picks. Full bat.
Decent Shepard's pie, good looking burgers, fast and attentive staff, cold and tasty beers.
Our group of blackguards have been gathering here every 2 months for many years. We would never consider going anywhere else. And Mr. O'Lunney himself greets us personally every time.
Unfortunately mixed feelings over O'Lunneys. The food and vibe was both good and affordable. Unfortunately, my meal (Chicken Pot Pie) made me severely ill for the rest of the night. I assume this is a run of bad luck, but still...this made for a highly unpleasant experience.
We were met at the door by a gentleman who quickly seated my family. The bar table would have normally been ok, but my back was aching. My daughter asked for another table(For Eight) and we were seated again. O'Lunney's was packed with patrons and we were still treared as family. The meals were sensational. Everyone was extremely satisfied. I will make O'Lunney's one of my choice places to visit each time I visit, NY City.
A fine Irish pub in the theater district. A bit loud and crowded at times. The sort of place you will like if you like this sort of place.
Went here on our first day in New York . At first it closed so we walked 20 yards to the next bar (I won't mention their name). We got some raw sausafes for vreakfast and by the we finished O-olunneys was open. We did some sight seeing and went back... thank God we did. We loved it. Had some really nice drinks and the staff were awesome. The owner/ daughter was there and were so fantastic we put it on the list to return.
The bartender Sam was a great guy, had us in stitches (laughter). We came back the next night and Joe from Donegal looked after us all night
We love this pub.
Best New York steak in New York! We ate here twice and was my partner's choice for her birthday after trying a several other places during our visit. The steak was done to absolute perfection and exactly how we requested. The atmosphere is great, live music and a very relaxed environment. Service was spot on, can't fault at all. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning when we visit New York again.
Irish bar close to the Minskoff Theatre sells Glenmorangie whisky
Incredible!!! Very very nice and great people! Very good food and delicious Guinness absolutely recommendable and if I should go back to New York I will definitely come back here!
It was a quick place, we at food there and the Mexican food was better then the Irish food. I had the fish and chips it was bland and no flavor .
Burger was undercooked, drinks are very small. Waitstaff was less than helpful when food was wrong. But, food was quite good.
I have been to the place in the past and have enjoyed the food and drink. The cocktails are amazing and it is one of a few places I have found that serves Ginger Beer. My recent visit I got the specials of the day which were the Toscana Soup and the Grilled Mahi Mahi. Both were very tasty. My waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere of the place is great. I will definitely come again.
Good solid Irish restaurant.. though some beers are $9
Lovely place. Clean, good food, good bartender. Authentic Irish breakfast
You can drink something, but avoid eating. Not very tasty and clumsy service. We were poured with soup and only a little apologized and you can not count on anything else.
The place is quite unpleasant inside, it makes a bad impression, but it's rather a matter of taste.
Delicious Irish food, great environment and friendly staff. A+
Close to Time Square, nice place with good food and friendly staff!
An excellent pub with reasonable prices in Times Square. Shepherd's Pie was delicious and the hot cider with butterscotch schnapps is a must on a cold day.
Cozy place, warm atmosphere and a good number of seats.
Nice staff, very approachable.
Good food and good choice of draft beers.
went for irish breakfast. disappointed not what an Irish person would expect
We had the opportunity to visit O'Lunney's twice in the last two weeks. Both times we had the same waitress, Ariel! She was a great waitress. The 2nd time we visited O'Lunney's ,my granddaughters were with us. Ariel went out of her way to please the girls. The food was great and the service was top notch. Thank you O'Lunney's for a great experience!
Hugh and Maureen O'Lunney maintain the old Irish tradition of hospitality and good cheer while serving very good food and a large assortment of reasonably priced drink. Hugh, Maureen and managers Norman and Angela treat you as though they have known you for a lifetime. My family and I have been patrons of Hugh O'Lunney's for 3 1/2 decades! We have followed him wherever his pubs have opened, having all our family and friend gatherings there (one coming up just before Christmas). Why? because no matter where we go ( Originally from Brooklyn, we now live in Rhode Island ) we always consider O'Lunney's our "local." If you want the feeling of home in an authenthic Irish pub setting in the center of Manhattan pick O'Lunney's.
We went to O'Lunney's for a client reception. Not surprisingly they have an extensive beer collection but fairly limited wine list. For the reception they put out a generous variety of finger food dishes which were quite good. Given the proximity to both Times Square and the Marriott hotel it does a great business.
