Amazing House of Cinema! I wasn't expecting my heart to be in this position. I will certainly be giving my precious "5" stars to this spot! Fries liked their tasty snacks that were really sweet. It was great for a movie house to hang with your friends and family as well. Uh, believe me! You will definitely never be disappointed.

The place has an art deco charm to it, is full of books about cinema, staff are friendly and movies are good and rare to see. Only downside is the screen, which is a bit small for a cinema.

This was a great cult movie section experience. The decoration is really interesting. It's like a theater inside a library. I'm not sure if they have more than one section at a time and the screen is not huge, but the price is fair and I enjoyed it. I'd definitely go back to watch more underground movies! It would've been better if they had real popcorn .
Fun cinema experience. Small and personal. Too bad South Beach people can't be quiet, even during an artsy screening. Why some people, especially women, think that whispering makes them impossible to hear is beyond me.

I had a great time at this place. It was a week ago when I visited this place to watch a movie. I was really amazed by the ambiance of this place. It was indeed cozy and relaxing. The reclining chairs were very comfy and cozy to sit on. The popcorns that they had was so crunchy. I like their salted caramel popcorn. It was indeed delicious. I will surely visit this cinema house again.
This movie house is absolutely amazing. The customer service of the staff was exceptional and the fact they took our orders directly from our seats was cool. You push a button and a food server brings you a menu. The experience was phenomenal. We would love to go back here again. Thank you very much and keep up the good work always.

Cute venue, but way too small. Got stuck in the front seats...about 5 feet from the screen...ended up feeling like I had motion sickness. I will definitely only go when I know I can get there early!

I love that this theater brings back the old glamour of the art deco theater! Beautifully done on the inside, you feel as if you are stepping back in time to an earlier era when ornate was not a bad thing! I went there to see Amy Schumer, and the only disappointing thing is that the sound guys could not seem to get the sound at a volume that was good for the whole theater. I look forward to attending more events at this wonderful location.
The location was clean, the seats were very comfortable, and there was a large, bright, noisy screen. In addition, the food was hot and the beverages were cold, too. Honestly, we enjoyed watching films in your shop very much. It was fun and perfect. Many thanks to you!

A fun little screening room with an indie bookstore vibe tucked away in city hall. I'm glad that someone thought to have something like this in Miami Beach. The screen is on the small side.
Vibrant and Glowing atmosphere! As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted by a manager by the name of Nathalie. She was very patient and polite while going above and beyond making sure our movie experience was excellent! The food was great, the servers were quick and the reclining chairs were comfortable. I would definitely recommend CMX if you're looking to catch a movie and a meal, or just to have drinks at the bar.
