A tiny slice of colonial history in the heart of the oldest part of the city.
It contains the "Wall Street Bull" that has become an emblem of financial strength in the United States.
In the midst of concrete and traffic, a very small oasis of peace. To relax the ears from the decibels of N.Y.

Small delightful park. Dates back to revolutionary times where statue of King George was pulled down by the colonists fed up with English rule. Original fence still surrounds parks dates back to revolutionary times.
Nice place to sit and relax on a hot day after long walk.
If your in lower Manhattan, check this spot out! Pretty cool.
The oldest Park in New York City. Yes the Dutch used to Bowl here. It was also pastureland. The fence in the park dates back to revolutionary days. When there was a statue of King George in it. When the Declaration of Independence was announced, Patriots in the city tore down the statue and since it was made of lead it was melted down into musket balls. The fence had crowns on the tops of the gate posts. Patriots cut them off. CHECK THIS PARK OUT IN EARLY SPRING WHEN THE FLOWER BEDS AROUND THE FOUNTAIN ARE FILLED WITH RED TULIPS. BEAUTIFUL!!
Nice quite place with a lot of performers outside the park
Excellent scenic views Staten Island Ferry offers quick cruise to and from Staten Island can get great pictures of lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty
The first public park and the oldest in New York City. I love when everything has history and it is preserved.
Plenty of restaurants, the American Indian museum, banks.
Why it doesn't take long when you're going to process a business license
I visited this area with my younger son for birthday/mother's day.
Went to visit the TainO exhibit at the museum of the American Indian and a friend Jorge Estevez whom is a big part of it!!!!!!
