I attended NWAAC last semester to take Biology. This was such an awesome experience and wish I would have taken more classes. The students were awesome as was the professor. I only went to the campus one time, but it was beautiful and very accommodating!

I went to check out the school and find information on how to use my GI Bill. Spoke to the military rep and tried to get information. I was told that I needed to apply first and be accepted and was literally physically pushed out the door so that the big tall guy could go into the next room and play ping pong with some other kids. Yup, won't ever go to this place and also recommend to all my friends that they don't either. NWACC has some SERIOUS work to do to fix all their issues. Very sad.

at the enrollment support. Been waiting for 15 minutes. They call my name and the lady has me waiting at the desk as she walks away to answer her phone. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because my 2 professors are awesome. But the school staff is horrible

As a student(2018-2020) I have found NWACC to be a school of choice, a school of excellence, a beautiful & spacious school. NWACC is a school for brothers and sisters, both young and old for all students from all over the world --(no matter where you come form or color of your skin).
Whatever makes you want to choose NWACC--- whether it is the cost, people, accessibility, or anything else that is academic---you are making the right choice.

A college that truly cares about every single student. Whether it be the advisors, faculty, or the president of the college. All of the employees help students achieve more and assist them in achieving better lives. Great facilities and an extensive support network for success.

Everything with registration takes a century to complete. No email returns, phone calls took me an hour to go through.. I have it screenshot. Going in person takes a hour. Sometimes you will have to return multiple times because they forgot to tellyou to bring one piece of important document to wait in line another hour.
There needs to be a more streamline way of registration.

Classes are decent.. 7/10 times textbooks are not needed so wait it out 2 weeks after class starts if its anything to do with digital so you can save up a bit maybe, always rent. ,

Never had any issues with the professors. The ones I had actually teached something, and gave real world uses for what is taught.

The best school I have ever attended. It is a community college, so you won't get any Bachelor Degrees here, but don't be fooled. This is a big school with tons of other students (over 9,000 when I attended here). Despite the big attendance, this school had small classrooms and the faculty staff always want their students to succeed! They will do whatever they can to ensure your success! Whenever you get your Associates Degree, then you will actually be ahead of everyone else when you go to the University of Arkansas. This school is the best all around!

Financial aid staff is horrible. It s impossible to get an answer to anything as they never know and have to transfer you to someone else who as well doesn t know. Advisors never email or call you back so it s impossible to get in touch with them. The communication needs work.

Financial aid staff is terrible they dont recieve (misplaced) someting of mine every semester. They dont return emails or phone calls take a dang video of your self handing them all your paperwork and gold them accountable, im telling you they will screw something up. Had several professors that are very bias and grade unfairly you can have 2 or more students submit the exact same answer but every grade will be different. Your grades will suffer if your not a brown noser.....be warned. Im not new to college I already have a bachelors degree from a different university came here to get an associates degree to support my current degree. This is the worst educational institution I've ever experienced.

I actually really liked going to Northwest Arkansas community college and was doing my degree completely online, until one day I was not. I enrolled in a payment plan and had a balance on the plan, so when I logged into my account to pay the remaining balance of the plan, I was not able to. When I contacted the school they said that they had sent my account to a debt collection agency after only two months, I do not live in the USA and have been trying for about 1 1/2 to contact the debt collection agency . I didn't receive an email , no warning nothing. I was on my second semester and thought I was on my to getting my degree online, this school has completely discourage me from pursing my degree online. The school seems to be more about profit than students success.
Some of the positive reviews I have read about the school were written by Faculty staff.

Went for free drive through Covid-19 testing from 4-8 pm. Arrived at 4:10. Guessing close to 200 cars already in line. Not clearly marked & had no idea where line zig-zagged. Told after 1 hr to park til they figured things out. Finally got my test at 6:35.

If I could give zero stars, I so would. They have messed with my financial aid, they do not ever answer the phone, and then the wait is terrible if you do go in, they aren't any help when it comes to questions, and they aren't willing to do more than say, "Sorry about it, you'll be dropped from the classes if you don't pay in full, you should have known everything had to be turned in by July 3rd, even though it's not on our website, and we are a new system so we are too busy to answer the phone." I've never had a more unprofessional experience from a place that is supposed to help. I suppose this is directly against the enrollment support team they have because they are no help and aren't friendly either. I would suggest going to the University of Arkansas or doing an online school instead of having to go through enrollment support here.

The professors here are helpful and they are good at what they do from my experience. However, I wish the financial aid department would be more helpful. I am constantly being thrown these meaningless reasons as to why my financial aid is on hold. I obviously talk to them and they are just as confused as I am. Please get your situation straight.

The school itself is great. But the biggest problem is the enrollment and financial aid process.

The process takes forever and they always just tell you to just wait until they tell you to get another piece of information. Overall, I love the school but they really need to fix their financial aid and enrollment process.

The people care, but the system has led to not just me but many others having problems getting their aid money. A stress that should not be gone through.

This school is excellent. They have a very organized and professional app and website, great student resources, and cool teachers. The students here are super chill. Great safety app. Safe campus because of security cameras and police nearby. Affordable classes as well. You can get scholarships and work study. Small class sizes so the professors actually care about your growth as a student and as a person. The clubs and events here are fun. The international office is cool. The campus is super pretty. The integrated design lab is pretty much an art exhibit with large classrooms. Not a huge or tiny campus so not overwhelming or underwhelming. All in all awesome
