I signed a contract - 36 hours for a certain amount of pay. I worked 36 hours the first week and they shorted me $300 dollars of my stipend saying i didn't start my contract till Tuesday so i wouldn't get my tax free money on my paycheck even though i worked 36 hours. Said that's what they do with all their nurses. All 4000. Add it up! Not onenurse t this facility is going to extend their contract- not because of the facility. 10 more weeks and i will be done.

Not a good experience!!! Hounded to death to complete numerous things that I had already done and submitted two months prior. Jumped through hoops!!! Correspondence is pathetic. You are assigned a recruiter, a Credentialist and a financial representative. Before signing my contract I tried for days to speak with the Credentialist but she was never available. I finally sent an email saying that if I did not hear back by the end of the day, I would consider my contract null and void. Called within 5 minutes. They are all about helping you until you sign that contract then.........can you hear the crickets? Signed up for benefits in the beginning and submitted them exactly the way I was supposed to. Guess who still does not have benefits. They keep sending me notices about naming a benefactor for my life insurance. ALREADY DID THAT!!! Not going to jump through anymore hoops. This past week I was shorted 2 days pay on Friday. It is Tuesday and I haven t heard a peep from them. I am mistaken, the recruiter did leave me a message about resigning. Apparently, the place I am assigned has an interest in extending my contract another 13 weeks. I love the assignment-the facility, co-workers, patients and families have all been awesome. I am half way through my contract and the end can t come soon enough. I have had numerous other travel nurses try to hook me up with their recruiters which will probably be the way I go in a few weeks. Oh yeah, the creative math is ......creative!
