Can't say enough good things about these people. At every level from nurses, aides, etc. Everyone was professional and caring.
Almost totally disappointing. The nursing staff didn't seem organized. The first nurse who visited told me they would have a nurse visit 5 times. That was Tuesday and she said she would be back Thursday. A different nurse called Friday and asked to visit. About all she did was take vitals and that seemed like a waste of time for each of us and I don't like making plans and not hearing until the day after the plan. I asked them not to come back.
The only bright spot was Christina - The physical therapist set up a schedule of days for 5 visits between the first day and the day before I was to return to the doctor. She showed up each day and we worked on exercises for the knee. She told me on Friday that she would be out of town Monday but someone would call and visit since I was returning to the doctor on Tuesday. I waited all day Monday but no one ever called. I think that is a management problem and it indicates to me that this place is not managed very well. Then a therapist called on Wednesday and wanted to visit. I told her no way did I want to see them again. I would never recommend this business and would have given them 1 star if not for Christina.
Nurses and Company has some ups and downs with consistency and scheduling but overall, they provided great help to our family. Gabby Thompson was my moms main caregiver and was great with her and so calm working with her as she recovered from hip surgery. Lori was great at correcting things and finding coverage when we needed it. Julie took ownership when we first brought my mom home managing her care schedule and partnering with another company to ensure 24/7 coverage. This company is not perfect and doesn t claim to be, but they did try their best in extremely hard situations like COVID, snowstorms and unpredictable call offs.
An incredible agency with very caring staff. If you meet the owner, you'll understand the culture of care.
