This is my first time at Nugget and usually stayed at Atlantis since it was highly ranked. I stayed on room 2807 on the 28th floor with spectacular views. The rooms are large with a bar counter, fridge, coffee maker. There is an extra door between the hallways and the loft lobby to additional security which is nice. Windows have darkening curtains and the bed are super comfy. I will definitely come back. Compared to the 4 star Atlantis, I could not tell any difference that this was 3 star. Maybe after all the upgrades, I would rank this a 4 star hotel.

We always stay at the Nugget. Very accommodating. It's a busy place. I personally would not stay in the Casino Tower mainly because the smoke from the casino rises. Sadly, the buffet is now closed (obvious reason). Rosie's Cafe is good, but there was a 1.5 hour wait. Starbucks for us was the new option. Yes, could've found another restaurant outside of the casino , but we were headed out to watch the Reno Air Races finals, then home.

This is got to be one of the best Casino's in the Reno area, I'm just waiting for them to roll out the red carpet for me. The Nugget put Quality service back were it belongs.
Whether your there for the slots a card game or some really good food your going to love it at the Nugget

I travel every other week for my business. This is an okay place to stay. The casino, lobby, stairwells are way overdue for new carpet and remodel. The hotel room itself was okay. The AC's arent the best and never get "cold". Parking in the garage is a nightmare, every spot is for "rated players card holders only" that is located where you walk across the sky bridge. So if you don't mind walking in from the back 40, this isn't a big deal. Poor signage and backwards layout makes finding the tower elevators tricky at best, and let's just say the casino employees aren't the most helpful. Security on the other hand will chase you down and force you to wear a mask while you walk past unmasked gamblers smoking cigars and cigarettes. God forbid should you try and find tour way to the elevators as security is wrangling you up like cattle for a mask. If this hotel was a person, I probably would punch it in the face, not as hard as I can, but hard enough to get their attention.

Great small casino, Rosey's cafe is tasty and old school diner style. The options have change through the years and there is not as much on there menu as they use to have but it is still good. Their buffet on the other hand needs alot of work. Honestly the nugget is just old and needs revamping.

They have the most friendly dealers and pit bosses anywhere in Reno area! Best drink service while gambling as well. Can't forget to mention the best player host ever, Dan Skinner!! If you haven't tried the Nugget lately then your missing out! I'm a Platinum player and have the best comps in Northen Nevada....I highly recommend

This place was booked almost a year in advance. I arrived, they did not have my room available-so I was told. I requested a manager, who was quickly able to accommodate. Arrived to room fine, but there were no washcloths. Thought it was no big deal since it was late housekeeping was coming next day. Housekeeping didn't arrive that day or the next.
