This is the main station in Haarlem. The station building is very beautiful with full of history. The platform is large and there are lot of trains heading to Amsterdam centraal and Sloterdijk. There are also some gift shops and snake shops in the station building.

minutes walk from the main sightseeing area around Grote Markt in Haarlem. There are numerous trains connecting to Amsterdam, making a day trip to Haarlem very convenient when staying in Amsterdam.

The original station dates back from the early 19th century. The current building was constructed between 1906-08 and features Art Nouveau features. The exterior is nice and we particularly enjoyed the platform area with its unique and interesting architecture, brick structure and wooden framed windows and facade.

Give the station a quick look-see if you enjoy architecture before rushing out of the station to spend your day of sightseeing around Harleem.

The most beautiful station of the Netherlands! Easy to navigate, plenty of facilities, and well protected after dark.

Good connections with the busstation in front of the station.
Kiss and ride at the back and a huge monitored bike storage.

Pretty little station. The majority of the building is behind the ticket gates. There are two separate hallways on the ground floor that have entrances on both sides. They both go to all platforms but something to keep in mind as you might find it confusing!

There are a number of small shops dotted around the outside of the building, and a very large amount of bicycle parking. Inside the station there is a small gift shop and a library.
