An excellent hotel with all services imaginable. My stay went extremely well and I had a great time.
The breakfast is extremely varied and of excellent quality. I seemed to be over eating in the morning.
The pool is great with towels and lounge chairs all out the back.
The staff are there to assist in whatever you want or need. The food is expensive but you're happy to pay and eat in such luxury.
Highly recommended!
I did not expect a hotel of such poor quality in Monaco. Upon arrival around 8 pm we asked about the options for dinner in the hotel room, this was no longer possible at 10 pm and only a cheesecake was possible. The next morning we ordered breakfast in the hotel room, me and a friend ordered both via the app. I received my breakfast but there was no waffle that I ordered separately with my breakfast (at a cost of 5 euros). My friend never received his breakfast. After informing the desk, we received a parking ticket as a solution (same cost as my friend's breakfast, 22 euros). I have not received a refund for the waffles (total cost of my breakfast 29 euros, 22 euros without the waffles). As I received my breakfast and my friend didn't we immediately called room service, the person answering couldn't speak English and just put the phone down without taking the initiative to arrange someone who can speak English with us. Normally I don't mind if I don't receive the waffle, for example, but for a hotel room of 465 euros per night, in Monaco, I think this is very strange and unprofessional.
The hotel room itself was warm and the possibility to open a window was unfortunately not available.
For a hotel in Monaco I did not expect this and this was my first and last experience with Novotel.
Beautiful hotel and the location was wonderful! We didn't opt to have breakfast as we found this to be too expensive for what was being offered, as was the parking, however, the hotel was absolutely beautiful!
Clean, contemporary hotel. Decent location to walk to main attractions in Monte carlo. Nice pool and bar overlooking the pool. Good breakfast buffet with variety of hot and cold food. There is a quick food place sells pizzas and etc in 2 min walking distance. and a cafe with good food and wine at reasonable price with covered outside sittings.
Very fancy hotel with lots of amenities. They have a unicorn floaty for the pool, which is fun for children and adults alike. Lots of food options and very close to town. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of languages are spoken here, and they do their best to make you feel comfy.
Apart from some guy at breakfast who was not only unhappy I sat in the wrong place, but also noisily inquired whether my kids were 'entitled' to eat from reception, everybody was great. It was the lockdown so it was all a bit basic and the gym being closed was a blow. Also had to be careful not to shut the toilet door too fast or else a tile in the ceiling made a huge noise (every time). We got the TV fixed and there were complimentary soft drinks. Would stay again.
The location was the main point why we booked this hotel. Prior to arrival I was promised garden view room (when I booked my stay, it included free upgrade from standard room to next available category) Our friends booked the standard room - refurbished street view room. Unfortunately on arrival we were both given the same type of room - the street view and we were told that all garden view rooms are being refurbished. When I queried this on reception I was told that I would have to pay 45 Euros per night to Executive room, which we did not want - we only wanted a room with a garden view. This put a little damper on the start of our holiday as the street view rooms are very dark.
I assume we got one of the refurbished rooms but the cupboard doors are already collapsing - our friends had the same issue with their cupboards. I am surprised that they have no soap dish in the bathroom - you either have to balance it on the sink or leave it on the side, which gets wet. I would suggest that they put soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom to save the small plastic tubes, which produce waste.
Apart from these issues we had a good stay. The breakfast is very good and the capuccino one of the best we have ever had from a machine. The bed is comfortable.
The location is great - 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and 10 minutes walk to the Casino
