Hotel that stands out for its location.

Hotel that stands out for its location.
The staff is very kind and professional.
The price is very suitable for the quality it offers.
The rooms have something very good and is that they have several USB ports so you forget to use adapters to plug in your mobile, for example.
The only improvable point in my opinion is the quality of the breakfast, not the quality.

Came for a business course. The room we were in was we'll set up and provided for, and there were plenty of drinks and snacks available. At lunchtime there was a range of hot and cold food and staff were quick to refill and clear plates.

The first night i stayed I was trying to get to sleep at about half past midnight when I had to call reception because of some very noisy families in the rooms next to and opposite me. Reception did speak to them but it was very late for them to be noisy, and why place a single occupant next to all those families. The second night I got to my room at approx 1.30am, and my keycard did not work. I had to go back to reception to get it activated again. These rooms were booked for my colleague and as we were working, hence our late hours we arrived back to our room. When your tired after a long day at work you really just want to get to your bed not be having to get it activated again. I've booked and stayed in this hotel for the same weekend for about the last 5 years. Never had a problem before but really was not happy with this stay

- The online check-in did not bring any significant advantages over checking in at the hotel, making the use of it questionable.

- Having checked in at around 6.30pm at 7pm a handyman knocks on the door, looking for his lost walkie-talkie, and says he absolutely needs to change a light in the bathroom. He goes away and comes back at 7.30pm to change the light. It seems a bit strange to me that room repairs need to happen after 6pm?

- I was warned that refurbishment of the 3rd floor of the hotel risked creating some noise from 8am, yet there was someone hitting metal pipes which was loudly to hear in the fourth floor, even before 7am. In addition someone in a neighbouring room took a shower at 4.30am, making the lacking sound isolation between rooms obvious.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to be in one of the new renovated rooms. The USB ports are awesome! Bad I found the shower. The cabin could not be closed and the water on the ground did not drain towards the drain. Otherwise everything was great. The breakfast buffet was good too. It was constantly refilled and the service was also very friendly and fast.

Nice rooms, located close enough to central London to be able to walk to most of the tourist attraction within minutes. And because it's located on the other side of the Thames, the price was quite affordable. The service was also pretty good, the staff was nice and helpful. 10/10 would come again!

Mid-range hotel in a really good location on the Southwalk. All major sights are within walking distance. The breakfast was okay, the selection was good and the quality of the food offered was satisfactory.
However, the cleanliness of the room is not sufficient. Pity!

A well located hotel to visit an attractive city! The friendly staff overall, with the exception of room service (not saying hello and entering the room for housekeeping early enough and not waiting for a response after hitting). Breakfast a bit below standards for this type of hotel. The room was very good, level dimension and comfort. A good stay overall.

Very professional and friendly staff, clean room and a great location 10 min walk from Big Ben!! Would I stay here again? Unfortunately not.

Maybe it is a nice feature with the see through mirror wall, straight into the room, in the shower if you are younger and fitter than me and traveling with your mistress. When you, like me, are traveling with your daughter and her friend it is not as nice! On the other hand, the toilet with a mirror door which does not close tight is not nice, regardless if your staying with your mistress or kids.

Call me conservative, I like the old fashion bathroom with proper doors and a mirror above the sink.

It is a nice hotel and a will give it 4 out of 5 due to the fact that there are fitter people than me traveling with only there love ones and for them Novotel and it's modern room with revealing shower could be perfect! Unless they have a bad stomach.

Finally, USB-ports in the walls are priceless!

Great place to stay if in London, we stayed for 3nts including NYE right across from Lamberth bridge we're we watched fireworks (not ticketed) which meant soon as they had finished back to hotel within seconds,, and had drink in the bar to bring in new year. Hotel as everything needed bar restaurant small play area (for children) outdoor area for smokers. The double room we had was top floor facing river and got view of London eye. The rooms are nicely decorated with all usual accessories, loved the shower room with its fancy windows that become transparent with flick of switch. Definitely recommend the Novotel for couples and families.

We booked very last minute after friends were unable to put us up for the Shine night marathon. Lovely welcome from reception who on hearing the reason for our stay, upgraded us!! Post marathon we needed comfy beds, hot showers and lovely smellies which were all present. And having got in and passed out at 4 am, a late check out of 12.00. Perfect!!

Stayed at the hotel many years ago on business, ideal location to be able to walk into heart of the city. Stayed in 2016 with my family for a long weekend. Staff very friendly, room was at rear of hotel so no real view but beds extremely comfortable, great after a day of exhausting sight seeing. Would always use this as first choice for a stay in London.
