Novotel Langley Perth Review

All staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Food is good too. I highly recommend the Novotel Perth Langley

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Langley, because of the tremendous welcome and courteous help given at the reception, especially by Nardine and Julian. The service at the hotel restaurant was outstanding served by wonderful staff like Toby, Chloe and Jordan. The room was very comfortable and well serviced. The location of the the hotel was ideal in order to move around the city of Perth and travel out into the country.

We only stayed for a night and had dinner at the restaurant. Was very enjoyable and the food was great.
Our room was very cosy and had a comfy bed and pillows. Pillows are very important when you are away from home and can either give you a good experience when you wake up or not. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in the city, close proximity to shops, cafes etc.

It was a refreshing lovely stay over the Easter break with excellent customer service throughout the 3 nights. Consistency and personal relaxed service was experienced at reception, the breakfast service and pub from many staff with a going out of their way to go over and beyond their minimum service.

Qynne from reception and Samantha at the pub were exceptional. I really appreciated being a LeAccorClub Platinum member to be provided with a room upgrade, some complimentary Easter eggs and a bottle of sparking wine with also some Accor group hotel research from Qynne at reception and a daily smile on the way out. Samantha also went over and beyond her service at the pub with providing additional information on the LeAccor Club membership program to provide forms and information.

I would be happy to stay with Novotel in Perth again on my next visit.

The dinner was pretty tasty and the service was ok.

I would like to thank Melissa for her fantastic customer service, after giving us a room I enquired about getting a room with a bath, she gave us a lovely room where I could have a lovely bath, after a few days of roughing it, it was a lovely experience.

The bed we had was also extremely comfortable.

We stayed on a Saturday night with breakfast, it was great couldn't fault it. IT was a great place to stay and the staff was very helpful but the only downside was the toilet, had rung to have it fixed and was said it was but noticed the water continually running and tried to press the button but it was stuck again. Told staff at time of checkout and hopefully it will be fixed properly especially when you have to go to another part of the hotel to use the toilet.

Coffee provided at the event upon arrival and was available readily all through the day. The staff continually removing the dirty dishes and glassware from the table without interrupting the event. I have special dietary requirement that was not an issue at all for the chef to cater for and staff have been advised that I will be in attendance for next two days and I will have an individualized meal available then for me as well. The only "issue" I could say was some of the toilet lights appeared to be really dark or out but I don't need a light to be able to go to the bathroom so apart from that it was an excellent experience

My husband and I had an overnight stay here for our anniversary. The manager had a nice chat with us in the lobby when we arrived and asked what our plans were. We told him we were celebrating our anniversary and he had a complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to our room. The room was very nice, but no slippers which would have been handy to go to the spa.The breakfast was good but the staff looked a bit lost. The power went out on the coffee machines.But overall we had a nice stay.

From my check in to check out I found the staff very welcoming, attentive and generally interested in my well being. My reception greeting and discussion personalised my arrival, the receptionist made me feel like family returning home. The morning coffee and the greeting at breakfast is as on previous occasions excellent, it started my day off in a very positive manner.

I had a work trip to Perth and stayed at the Novotel for 3 nights. My room was upgraded however it really wasnt set up to be user friendly, especially for business. The room had one powerpoint at the desk (wasnt even a double) which meant I couldn't charge two things at once. There was a powerpoint under the desk but it had the lamp and clock plugged in. There were no powerpoint beside the bed and the only other one was above the fridge. The wifi was painfully slow and at times I had to hotspot off my phone to get decent internet. The bathroom had a shower in the bath with no soap holder which was a little annoying. Also the phone in the room would crackle so badly it was unusable, I had to call front desk from my mobile. I had a day in my room where I was trying to get through a bunch of work and it really ended up being no-where as productive as I would have like and much of this had to do with the room not being fitted out for doing business.
The plus side was the staff were all really nice and the food was great. Not sure I would be picking this as my first hotel though next time unless the rooms had been upgraded.

Staff is extremely helpful 5 stars go to staff. but hotel needs major renovations. Rooms are smelly, bathrooms rundown. It s definitely not a 4 star. Not coming here again. May be if you expect a 2 star hotel and get good cheap deal then only it s worth. There are better options in this price.

Very clean establishment and most helpful staff. Under ground parking is very tight especially if you have a large vehicle.

I had a great 7 night stay. Massive room and comfy bed.

Nice conference room that was flitting for the small amount of people we had, then good drinks and food after. Nice big projector screen and microphones were clear

This place neede a refurb five years ago - still hasn't happened. The f&b staff are good. The room (king room) was clean but odd. Why would you have three pillows on a bed for 2? The complimentary single bottle of water was weird. It is their policy apparently.

I can't say enough about the staff they are so professional and make you feel welcome especially the foreign staff! We need more education for our Australian staff, and no I was born here and so were my parents I'm very much Australian. We can learn so much from our overseas workers. They are amazing people hard working and so respectful. The rooms are nice and clean, but are looking a bit old. The food is top quality it was a shame that they ran out of a couple of dishes.

The worst hotel I have ever been. In winter no A/C. There was a small portable electrical heater with lots of noise and inefficient. Old towels with discoloration and stain. Arrogant Staff in reception.

Our encounter at the reception for check-in was not a pleasant one as the receptionist was rather rude and cold. However, after giving feedback to the Manager Jefferson, things changed tremendously. We were greeted politely on the next morning by the same employee. Jefferson also offered great help on our car parking and directions. Was amazed at the turn-around of service to manage dissatisfied customer. Well done!

Great hotel in great location. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed in Novotel Langley for one week. Found the place very dated, needs a thorough renovation, right from tapestry, furniture, bathroom fittings etc. The laundry provided in the basement had dryer which is completely rusted on the edges. Only plus point was the staff behaviour.... friendly and helpful. Have stayed in Novotel hotel in other cities but this one was below par.

Novotel Langley is one of the best places to visit and enjoy the best cuisine in town with Fenians Bar and the best restaurants in Perth. You can also enjoy the spa on top of the hotel and view the river views from the balcony, and also with the friendly staff.

Good room, plenty of parking, good location. Gym could use more weights

Great place weather staying or visiting love Paddys pub from drinks to food

The room hadn't been cleaned properly but the facilities were good and there was plenty of good food.

Doing mandatory quarantine here - Staff are pleasant and helpful. Aircon vents are dusty everything including the bedding is covered in dust even bathroom surfaces no matter how many times you wipe them during a 24 hr period there is always a film of dust. The food is disgusting, we've been here 11 days now & we get stale and/or mouldy brioche buns daily with a breakfast of sugary cereal. Salads are most often days old and rotting. The quality of the food has steadily deteriorated over time. Meals now seem to be reheated as opposed to being fresh. It's hard for me to imagine that this food is approved by the department of health and is fit for human consumption. I understand the same standards I'm used to at home cannot be expected but a decent meal can still be served because I'm paying for it after all.

The staff was very friendly and we was upgraded with a king size bed. The room was lovely. We will definitely stay at Novotel Perth Langley when we visit again.

The room felt old and not cozy. Part of the ceiling paint was falling. Toilet felt 30 years old. No coffee machine. Poor Gym facility.

Really enjoyed the experience. We arrived early (10am) and were told we were being upgraded to a better room which was very generous. As the room was not ready, the person at the front desk said she'd call when housekeeping had completed their preparations. We didn't get a call, but were busy anyway so weren't too concerned about this. Had our timetable been different, this might have annoyed us.

We were also treated to a welcome drink which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was excellent even though we had to eat quickly due to a sleep in. It would have been more relaxed if breakfast service finished at perhaps 11am rather than 10am. Again, not such a big issue.

The only thing I'd say would need improvement about the room would be the lack of available power points, particularly near the bed. Also the light switch for the lamp by the bed was not easy to get to.

Overall, a very good stay and I'd recommend this hotel.

Good hotel with a view from the spa on the top floor. There are two but one wasn't working.

My wife and I felt welcomed and relaxed after our 48 hour stay. The staff were very friendly. My only real complaint is the excessive car parking charge.

The room was adequate but certainly dated and due for refurbishment, limited power outlets no USB points, and annoyingly you know my membership details but even though meals are charged back to room there is no discount applied and I am More

Service was excellent and included breakfast was quite the treat. Great views of the river from our room, which also had Modern TV and clock radio. Curtains were in a bit of disrepair and aircon was a little noisy but didn't otherwise detract from the overall experience.

Located about 10 km from Perth Airport this Novotel is a very short walk from the Town Hall, restaurants and cafes. ..especially at the edge of a walk by the water and the lights are beautiful at night.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Great conference venue.
Will definitely be back.

Hotel located at Perth CBD accessible with TransPerth bus by stopping at Adelaide Tce after Hill St or Adelaide Tce before Hill St would be the nearest stops. The hotel is located across the Pan Pacific Hotel. They have ballrooms and smaller conference rooms.

Across it is Perth Convenient store. Located nearby couple of cafes.

Used the hotel for work Christmas party. Excellent food, drinks flowed well. Very pleasant experience all around.

Breakfast - great selection but over priced for what one would eat at a quick breakfast before a business meeting. It would be good to have a variety of breakfast options. If you do have them, the staff do not inform guests of this.

It was a nice stay with a very good breakfast and friendly staff but as I am a regular traveler customer from Accord and I would like to let you know my experience with this Novotel hotel.

26 Sep:The room was not ready even though I did the on-line check in
The Safe had no batteries (not working)
When I was in the spa and I turned on the bubble jet it came out with a very intensive odor like sewage spoiling my relaxing time (the worst spa ever)

The room 905 has a bad body odor smell I had to ask the reception to put some deodorant in the room.
I had a similar bad experience with the spa in this room.
I suggest you to check the spa as probably it has not had much use and the water has stayed there for a long time.

We booked a conference room for staff party...quite upset with amount of food and the service compare with what we paid for...

Staff were amazing throughout the whole stay. My room was spacious, clean and tidy and had great views. I also ate at Sen5es restaurant. The food was fantastic and the staff - Francesca and Jeff were very attentive, friendly and a real asset to the restaurant.

Your staff courtesy and mannerism are excellent. We have no other complain except that the bathroom would be upgraded to modern amenities. Presently, the amenities are rather a bit old.

Room was quite comfortable and pleasant

My room was clean, plenty of space, comfortable bed. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD (about 10 minutes). The interior was a little dated, but by no means unpleasant. Some rooms must have a nice view of the Swan River, however mine was a pretty uninteresting view of buildings behind the hotel.

Friendly welcoming staff, larger than expect room and very quiet. the location is great with a lot of recreational sports like running or biking on your doorstep with the Swan river close by. Breakfast and the restaurant serves up a good variety. will definitely be back

From check in to check out cannot find one area for improvement. The room upgrade was fantastic - first time in WA so loved the river view. The room was perfect - large comfortable. I loved the bath. The service was fantastic - all staff friendly, professional and listened to us. Breakfast in buffet was awesome - so much choice and the pastries from France were an added touch. Also liked the Irish Pub as part of Novotel - I liked the choice of Irish Pub food and entertainment to the intimacy and fine dining of Senses. Service very quick. Overall great 4 night stay.

5 stars based on room service and credited to Hannah ! Had a room service- club sandwich! It was delicious! Hannah also provided an exceptional service as she could not tell what's the soup of day when I called and put it on the house . (potato pea ham soup is yummy )! Thanks you again Hannah

Service was friendly and positive. The room was so comfortable and nice with a great view of part of the city and a portion of the river. The buffet breakfast was amazing.

We ate at the restaurant Sen5es and Fenians Irish Pub. They were both great. Our last night's dinner was paid for by the manager and then we were given a box of chocolates for our anniversary. They catered for me being gluten free also.

My husband and myself celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on 30th def.. and the staff had decorated our room so beautifully..also a bottle of bubbles with choc coated strawberries..an amazing weekend...we have been members since 2005..and would strongly recommend you get yourself a membership...we as Los har ab upgrade to a junior mini suit also amazing....once again novotel UO did not let us down
