Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square Review

It was great. Good service, clean rooms. Good food for breakfasts. Definitely recommend.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Cleanliness of the room is very good, however the toilet needs some maintenance esp the grouting in the shower area. Otherwise overall experience is good. Definitely will be here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

Hotel with great location. Less than 100m from BTS, Siam Paragon is across the street, both MBK and CentralWorld is 1 station away (but walkable). Staffs are also very friendly.
I reduce 1 star as somehow my room door does not have a security latch. It was only a day later that I notice the other rooms have them. Kudos for the staff in resolving the issue within the same day I brought the matter to their attention.

No elevator from parking level to lobby. If you plan to bring elderly /wheel chair people please drop off at lobby level first.

Good chinese food in buffet line. Other food are average taste.

4stars here is for service. Novotel staffs were really attentive and welcoming.

Location is superb smack near Siam BTS station , less than 5 mins walk. Situated next to Siam Square 1 and opposite Siam Paragon.
Finding food nearby is not an issue as plenty of good Restaurants available.
Room - just meet my expectations for Novotel standard. Good thing is there s international plug point on bed side.
Internet - WiFi in room / around hotel is inconsistent. Speed is not great. Intermittent connection issue. A huge let down
Breakfast - simple selection of breakfast from Thai food to normal international style. However, staff is slow in replenishing the food
Choose this hotel for the location. If for luxury and service quality , a big NO.

We had a great stay here, though only in the city for two days on business so we didn't get a chance to enjoy all of the amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were so close to several major shopping areas and to the Metro.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and understanding given that our trip was last-minute and we had only a short plane ride to learn some basic Thai language. The staff also went above and beyond in advising on where to go for specific products and souvenir items we wanted to buy

A rather dated hotel but conveniently located in the center of Siam Square area...
A note of caution for anyone thinking of visiting Siam Square who has been here before.. the place is a mere shadow of its former self... Most of the old boutique shops and coffee houses and great little eateries are either closed or will be closed soon and torn down! It appears that the local government and big developers have finally moved in to completely erase the charming Siam Square of old with more of the same international brands and office space and overpriced hotels and apartments... And in so doing, traffic and parking situation is worse than ever... Avoid this area now if possible.

Excellent hotel very close (1 min walk?) from Siam station and a 7-11 store. Lots of malls nearby and feels very safe at any time. The lobby is very spacious and has a free pool table for use. They also have laser quest/tag in the basement. Staff are very helpful.

The deluxe room was of average size. Shower was great with hot water at any time and good pressure. Towels and toiletries were generous including toothbrush and razor. No iron in the room. Quite a few English channels.

Breakfast was carried daily with plenty of counters including Indian food, curries (green and red Thai curries with rice on some days), fruit, pastries, sushi, etc.

One of the very old hotel in Bangkok. The place still nice to sit down for a snack and coffee. Parking lot is very challanging for a novice driver.
