Good choice of Italian products, unfortunately some products have a strong price increase

A bit priced but here you can find almost all you need for a real Italian kitchen, for your house or your restaurant.

Wide choice of products that come from Italy, otherwise unavailable in Amsterdam. Although there are interesting offers, some products suffer a significant increase in price.

Awesome warm dishes prepared by the cook. Incredible pizza al taglio and delicious Parmigiana di Melanzane . Feels like home!

I am thankful that this place exists. It offers authentic Italian products in Amsterdam - cheese, pasta, tomato sauce, olive oil, pastries, salami, wine, beer, focaccia, etc. Many of the products are cheaper and better than What you would find in the common Dutch supermarket.

Lots of quality Italian brands and excellent cuisine prepared with passion and competence by Luca (parmigiana, baked pasta, sliced pizzas, desserts ...)

You can find all Italian products. Saturday is crowded.

Great place and Italian supermarket in Amsterdam.Unique of its kind, with many fresh products and many things from Italy.Of course the prices are a little higher, everything is imported and has a cost.But you can find everything. nice counter with meats and ready food.

Bad service and high prices.

Bad service because your owner treats customers badly, I don't go into details and weeks have passed, but I was about to leave without shopping. Then I found out that other people were treated in a manner that was not very polite ... Fortunately there is Vico food box or DivaMarkt with a wide choice and lower prices, and better treatment.

Still completely confused. Come here more often for my Esta The addiction. But now I ate a piece of pizza for the first time: great, for 3! What a taste experience!

Various delicacies are sold here. I thought the truffle decorum was too young.
Also a pity that some of the staff does not speak Dutch (only English).

Large Italian supermarket with many products a must.

Italian products! ... Meat, frozen foods, biscuits, flour, oil ... All made in Italy! PS is not a restaurant but a supermarket!

This will be the last time that I will go shopping in this place run by rude inveterates ... it is incredible but we have already come four times and every time I regret having come a long way and then seeing myself treated in this way ... and after leaving too much money !!!
They do not say goodbye when you enter ... at the cash desk they do not even look at you in the face and at the exit after your blatant goodbye they look at you as if you were coming from another planet ... but what kind of service is this ???
Not to mention the owner who always seems angry and doesn't care about customers in the slightest
I will not even spend 1 in this place anymore ... I discovered that it is not the only one !!!
The only positive note: the bartender is the only person who has the word "good morning, thank you and goodbye" in his vocabulary !!!

Perfect place to find everything Italian is missing in Holland!

Discovered by coincidence, but we felt immediately excited about the place. Super friendly service and finally we found a place in amsterdam where we can buy scamorsa.

Appetito is an authentic Italian delicatessen store. On December 22nd of 2018, after years of wholesale exclusively to Italian businesses (restaurants), Appetito opened a brand new retail store that is open to the public.

They sell a wide variety of imported Italian products but also sell ready-made dishes prepared according to traditional Italian recipes. Our personal favorites are the homemade Tiramisu and Lasagna (see photos).

Amongst the many types of cheese Appetito offers are for example: Buffalo mozzarella, Caciocavallo, Parmigiano, Pecorino Romano, Fontina, Ricotta.

The store is located a bit remote and shares the area with DIY stores. On the upside, there usually is more than enough parking space.

The Italian crew working at the store are led by the owner Angelo Galantino. He looks like he could be on the cast of the Sopranos , but I found him to actually be very kind and helpful. In general the staff is always willing to give culinary advise.

As you were stepping into a big Italian grocery store! Lot of fresh Italian food!

Great thing to stock Italian products, only after my first visit my receipt was totally wrong, there were 2 products on it that I had NOT bought (Olive oil and Burrata). Very strange a difference of almost 11 euros !!!! At first I only received the pin receipt without a specified receipt. Went back and got this one after all. So make sure you get the specified receipt so you can check your purchases!

Extensive range of Italian products. Various Italian cheeses, pasta and cold cuts. Perfect shop if you want to make pizza.

Huge range of products from all regions of Italy. Many fresh and quality products that cannot be found in other stores at very affordable prices. Excellent staff and Gabriele super nice and helpful.

Best Italian store, 1 espresso, great affordable prices, all employees are Italian and all super helpful and relaxed. Love my visits. Seasonal offers as well like the Easter chocolate eggs!

It's a real italian supermarket. Amazing choice of Italian product for a fair price. Especially for Cured meats and cheeses. A lot of products from South of Italy. Recommended to get a sandwich and a coffee during your shopping. If you are looking for real italian products this is the right place.

You can find almost anything you want of Italian products like in a real Italian supermarket, and prices are okayish. The choice of each product is not so extensive, and they could work on their brands choices but nothing to complain about :)

A small corner of Italy in Amsterdam, excellent products and high quality, a feast for the eyes as soon as you enter. Inside you can find most of the Italian products. A further plus point is the kindness and helpfulness of all the boys and of Mr. Gabriele.

Appetito was FANTASTICO, just a pity that some things are tad but very expensive, like salami, mozzarella etc ... but otherwise I am satisfied.A feedback the male staff should be a bit more friendly.

Wonderful shop, friendly and welcoming, the parking is a tad difficult but it is due to the area, not the shop. They have a whole list of Italian products and services including a bar with Italian coffee at Italian prices!!

Italian wholesaler, but also accessible to private individuals. Definitely worth it, you will always find something to your liking. And in this day and age: mouth mask is mandatory.

Italian products, go early if you want to get what you are looking for, some things like salami run out very early.

After 18 years of residence in Amsterdam, I chanced upon this shop and really felt like like I was in a small supermarket in Italy. Many interesting products for reasonable prices. I got some great wine, Amaro Cynar, cedrata Tassoni, etc. etc. Really a positive experience. If I have to find a recommendation for improvement, the selection of organic products could be much larger. At the end of the day, we are in the Netherlands and we get used to the organic option. For example, there is a fabulous choice of flour, but hardly anything organic. Overall, highly recommended.
