Recently our PCP sent us to you for the purpose of a sleep study. During the initial consultation our insurance was verified and a date to ship the kit was sent. We were to be back home to meet the kit on Dec 31st 2019 but were delayed due to the death of my father on Christmas morning and the funeral that followed. When we did finally get home we started the test as instructed but after the first night we received a message to contact you and were then told to not continue and finish the testing until after the insurance could be verified for 2020. We waited around a week and never received a call back to continue until after we received a call stating that we were over the allotted 7 days and were to return the kit or face over charges. We then contacted you again and were told to go ahead and keep the kit and that the insurance coverage for 2020 has been verified. We used the kit the next couple days and sent it back.
We have now received a bill for the service and it was not submitted through the insurance. We called the insurance to verify this and then called and talked with one of your billing representatives. They stated that it will not be submitted to insurance.

This is fraud and unacceptable.. You cannot bill for a service that is in advance verified to be covered by insurance and then not submitted to them. The fee that you are requesting from us should be used towards our deductible within our insurance. We signed no contract with you that we would pay for a service directly and were under the understanding that in good faith you would submit this as required.
We look forward to you fixing this error in your billing department and hearing from our insurance that it has been submitted as required. In the interim we have paid the bill to prevent you going to a claim department.

I questioned the sensor set up and the product when I received it in the mail. I was reassured by multiple representatives of the company that it was adequate. So I set up audio and video during my sleep so I could see myself sleep with their device on three nights the results that My PCP received from the company, stated there were no apneas and no desats. my direct video and audio recordings differ. there was profound apneas with snoring. I don t know about the desats because I did not have a my own probe on my finger.
So in conclusion, I question the device and I question the individual that interprets the data from that device.

Horrible test. Breathing device is absolutely awful. It was so uncomfortable that after an hour and half of trying to sleep it took it off. Company tech services said it could be used vertically on the upper lip. Yeah good luck with that. Tried it again second night but gave up. Find another test. This one isn t recommended.

Horrible company to work with. They took a very long time to get me the equipment. Hard to reach customer service. They gave me wrong info that cost me a lot of money. Would never recommend using them. Still waiting for results. Not to hopeful, the equipment did not seem to work correctly. We will see.

I had no problems with the company itself, they were very proactive and responsive to issues. The problem was with the unit itself. As others have mentioned the breath sensor is awful. I tried 3 breath sensors and two units and had the same issues with the breath sensor every time. I finally just sent everything back and gave up. I will be looking for an alternative.

As others have mentioned, the breath sensor is completely unreliable and will cause the machine to alarm frequently during the night. I probably could have asked for another breath sensor, but I really don't want anything to do with this company anymore. I have requested an in-home study with another company just to have peace of mind that the results are valid. Hopefully other devices do not keep me up the entire night.

I was ordered a sleep study back in September 20. They approved in then got bought out and stated they have to get my insurance preapproved again. That was in end September. Now for 2 months they call me staying we dont know when it will be approved. They are playing with people helth and dont care. I would never recommend them or will I ever use them.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews to be honest. I had a very good experience with the multiple staff members I talked to, had no issues setting up the machine or using it, and shipping it back was easy. Compared to going to a sleep center, this was 10 times better and less stressful.

Their employee's are some of the rudest people I have ever talked to in my life. Incompetent, rude, ignorant I could go on. They seem to think they know what they are talking about when they don't. I asked the man from Novasom who called me with an attitude his name and he refused! What kind of business is yall running?
