Didn't actually golf here but stopped in at the little bar/restaurant they have and had a great time.

Lovely course, the redwoods are amazing especially early in the morning. Course is well kept, nice warmup area, so get there early to loosen up.

Great little nine hole course. I just wish they would take a little bit better care of the place..but honestly it's a great track with fun holes...you better be able to keep it straight and in the fairway here!!!

First.....Vern is the best! He really makes you feel special. And the course itself is wonderful. Surrounded by those beautiful tree's...it's heaven. If I could, I would play there everyday.

Great 9 hole course in a beautiful area! Lots of big trees, which can create some challenging shots, but great for all skill levels. Very peaceful...

I love this course. We walked the front nine, wow! Rode the back nine. What a difference between walking and riding. Beautiful course set in the redwoods! We play here at least once a month. The food at the restaurant is awesome!

One thing that is a hugely unprofessional thing to do is not stand by your hours. We drove there and arrived at 8:06 and were told they decided to close early. We drove for45 mins to get there because their hours state they are open until 9, and they close on a whim. The reason why local restaurants fail and are replaced with chains is because local restaurants are too lazy and have no business sense. Won't make that mistake next and will just avoid them.

Had a very nice round of golf with three friends. This is a pretty casual place with lots of amenities. Social distancing of course.

Outside eating patio but don't bring your pets as they are not allowed, even on the outside patio.

Been golfing here since I was a child. Pretty fun holes that require persistent consitration to keep an eye on your ball. Easy to lose one out of bounds.

Great get away. Good food. Delicious cocktails. Do get some air conditioning please!

This is a gem of a golf course near Guerneville. Built in the Majestic redwoods, it is a tight course requiring precision. Beautiful surroundings... What a great place to play play 9 holes with a variety of tea boxes so a fun 18 holes if one desires

I love this place and feel so fortunate to live close.
I ve had breakfast here many times but have yet to golf here. My last activity golf wise was 9 holes at Strawberry near Saratoga before health issues. After surgery back to my first thing to do at Strawberry. After nearly 10 years of battle I am feeling good enough to golf again but I had to sell everything I own to get through all the hospital visits and radiation therapy. Can you tell I love golfing? No clubs though.

Out of all the golf courses I've ever been on, Northwood is likely my favorite. There's just something about being in the redwoods with nice cool weather and getting to golf in in-between it all.

Great course, very challenging, nice mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s. Even has a restaurant to eat at after you play. Staff was very friendly and I would recommend this course to anyone of any age or skill level. Well worth the drive.

Challenging 9 Hole course. Longer than many. Greens and fairways in fair/good shape. Prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely beautiful...though it doesn't play well to a leftie with a mean slice! Ups and downs, lefts and rights, this 9-hole course amongst the redwoods is always a fun, challenging game. Love the course, love the restaurant, love the drive out there!

I was at one point in my life an avid golfer. The course is settled amongst stunning redwoods. It is well manicured. The course is somewhat challenging yet, if you keep you golf shots away from the trees and enjoy the the setting. ..you win!

Gem in the Redwoods! This Alistair McKenzie designed 9 hole course is the picture of beauty. Its challenging and narrow, but it is gorgeous. Highly reccomend this golf course. It is way under priced in my opinion.

This was a wonderful course. If appreciate course design this is a must play.

Our group truly enjoys our annual trip, we missed it last year but are hoping to get back this year.

I don't play golf but I walked around the perimeter of the golf course. It is the most beautiful setting in the world. It's deep in the redwood forest.

Beautiful golf course with majestic redwood trees lining the fairways.

Great country setting with a very welcoming atmosphere. Normally a good crowd and a great karaoke night. The food is good and price worthy, overall a very nice place in a nice area.

I don't golf much but being under giant redwoods talking a nice walk is a great way to spend an afternoon. The burgers are great too.

This course is such a hidden gem among the majestic coastal redwoods. You must play it and stop often to look around and appreciate the beauty.

We have some great golf courses in Sonoma County and North wood doesn't disappoint- one of the more beautiful 9 holers around, very challenging and very rewarding - early mornings in the redwoods are a grand way to start a day even if you're OB looking for a lost ball

Its a good place to golf, great restuant and the staff is great. Best golf course in the area, just gets packed which is a bummer

This is a beautiful golf course nestled in the redwoods. It is a fun 9 hole course, 18 if you loop twice.

Been playing golf here for 30 years, the greens have never been in this poor condition. Hopefully, Northwood will fix this asap.

Very tranquil with beautiful weather. Love spending time with my family. Food at the clubhouse is excellent and abundant. Anna is beautiful with an outgoing personality. Ask for her for your server. If you see us in the SFPD golf cart....don t forget to wave and say hi

The most incredible golf course in Giant Redwoods. The locals call it knock knock golf. The food is great too.

I enjoyed this golf course which meanders into the old redwood trees near the Russian River on HWY 126.

Not much of Mr. McKenzie is left here, however I had a great time around this nine hole track. I will likely go out of my way to play it when I make my next trip to the west coast.

Had a good day of golf , the course was wide open due to a light rain but that was OK , enjoyed the different levels of challenge for being a 9 hole course, plan on returning soon

Loved the patio and the view! Thought the Reuben sandwich tasted a bit weird to me...

Pretty hard to top that place . The only thing I can say about it other than I lost that day and I don't like to lose . So what we have to play another game haha
