Personally I know someone that works here. For all the people that are writing bad reviews you are just lazy and don't do your job right. So all you do is complain and come here and talk about little things that are wrong about this company.
Wherever you look you see mad faces. Angry employees. Went inside to ask for the bathroom the forklift guy came to me in 3 seconds to tell me to return back in the truck before that I was waiting for him for 20 min to give him the paperwork. Checked in at 3:08 out: 5:10. They let me use the bathroom and forklift guy from the 2nd shift was cool and quick. Getting paperwork after being loaded can be nightmare. They need to understand that the drivers are at work too. We are not on fakin vacation so you can treat us like whatever.
Excellent Customer Service and extension from our team.
This company has expanded with a warehouse center located in Mira Loma Ca. The warehouses is Totally unorganized. I am a forklift driver with 8 years experience and was hired as a driver and promised $13.50 hr. When the hiring manager arrived he chose 4 drivers, one who wasn't even forklift certified to unload trucks. He then told me I would work as a laborer instead of a driver. 3 of the 4 drivers he chose were running into product, damaging product because they didnt have the common sense to keep their load at 6 inches instead of 3 feet while unloading a trailer. The ONLY smart. one their is their lead man Marcus who knows that ONLY certified opetators should be on a forklift. Bottom line, their warehouse is a total MESS, their hiring manager Aaron has no clue on how a proper warehouse should be run. And when I asked Christine Dwyer for their HR department she ignored me. I just cant help but wonder how OSHA will feel about this???
Drivers
Don't count on calling in .walk to office.
After checking in they are quick to load .
Be good at backup .for you will back up ,about half a block or more in a L shape blinded by pallets stacked higher then your truck.
NORTHWEST PALLET in Pittston P.A.
This company is a joke! Hire people they never work call offs and no work sending home early. And then don't pay you. What kind of company is this.!!!!!
The place is a joke. HR and other office people didn't seem to want to help with issues at the job sites. It's pretty bad when the customer (Car part distributor) has to find a solution where to go with the scrap wood and a pallet company that deals with pallets and scrap wood can't. John Parkos (Reginal manager) is lazy and a back stabber. Fires an on site manager falsely (because the site was under bid and losing money) a month before his baby is due. Class act that guy.
There's an tremendous amount of growth and opportunity at Northwest Pallet. A lot has changed since the initial transition from family owned to privately owned. With any and all change there's a learning curve, which takes time for any large corporation! Working through an organizational change with rapid growth is not an environment for everyone! But if you're looking for opportunities and challenges in your work that allow you to think "outside of the box", Northwest Pallet is where you want to be. We have the support and resources to grow together!!
Can't get through, very dirty place, not recommended
Fast to load you but to get your paperwork is a mission ...3 girls here and only one of them is the one you deal with if she's in her desk
Great staff, excellent service, and national coverage! Great company to use to recycle and buy pallets!
My experience was opposite the others who have left reviews. I checked in with friendly staff, got a dock, got loaded, moved on with my day. It is a tight area so back in off the street, don t be scared. If the condition of the lot is too rough and dusty for you, take your show truck elsewhere.
As a long time employee I wouldn't recommend working at least for the van Buren location our regional manager is not a very fair leader I've lost faith in his ability to do his job
I was an employee with this company and I truly enjoyed my time there. This company has wonderful leadership, from the top down. The coordinators work hard to communicate and provide outstanding service to all customers. If you are looking for a good place to work, seek their opportunities! If I get the opportunity to return back to this company, I absolutely will in a heartbeat!
Appointment 8 am.
It's 12.30 pm. Still waiting on the street for a dock to be loaded. All docks are occupied by dropped trailers which they are loading.
Two stars for available restrooms.
1 star is to much for this place. DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL!!!!!!
In the six months working here there has been 2 raises and the managers and owners are nothing but friendly and care about there employees i love this place is a good work you are active moving time flys by....
I had a driver cut me off in Wisconsin. Very unprofessional and unsafe considering he is a commercial operator (tractor/trailer). I will assume this is normal for employees of this place considering there less than 2 star reviews.
nobody knows anything! they are like a herd of rams.
Unloading is fast, but mess is everywhere!!! watch your tires!!! nails, debris all around...you have to call to check in, no door to enter in...better to avoid..:(
They play with your money I haven t received no checks from this company I do not recommend
They ignore you. Your time is nothing for them. One of the worst places I have ever been.
Nails by the buckets on the ground, pallet debris strewn all over the place. Management of this place should be fired and never allowed to manage another place again.
I'll give the place two stars because it's easy too find and it's right off the interstate but getting into a dock is a royal pain. If you dock on the east side you have to back in off the street and try to get around the other trucks that are docked. The people were nice enough I guess. When entering, stop on the street and either call the number on the sign or go in the door on the north east corner and go to the far left window. When leaving, park on the street and go back in after your paperwork.
