The athletic programs are very competitive and part of the Panhandle Conference -- one of the premiere community college conferences in the country.

Great small town community college with a lot to offer. Also a great resource for artistic galleries and performances.
Been here 2 semesters. Upgrade your dinosaur online class software (blackboard) and make sure you read your student's reviews on the teachers, because the teachers need to do a better job, most of the online teachers do not post lecture videos, as should be required if they're getting paid by each student's tuition. Furthermore, the 2 online teachers I had, had 0 communication to me. No reminders for ANYTHING. All up to you to keep up with it all. Hope I can leave here ASAP. Edit: I noticed that after I posted this review, there are random people giving it a 5 star. That is ridiculous. Just because you get a bad review doesn't mean you make your employees post 5 star fake reviews. Shame. See my point? Ridiculous school.

I got my AA here a few years ago. Came back today to visit the testing center. I love the new updates to the campus!
Love the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. Saw the program "Remember When Rock was Young" with the Elton John tribute artist n our Northwest Florida State College Symphony orchestra with a guest conductor. What a great night of singing, rocking to the music, clapping n having fun with friends.

This college was amazing before COVID. It was even amazing during COVID. But something has happened in the past year with administration causing this place to change for the worst leaving me frustrated. I was supposed to graduate in May 2021. I got to know the lady at the front desk during this time in January. She left and I got to know the other guy at the front desk. Then he left so I got to know the next lady. Then two weeks ago I was told she was gone. My adviser was helping me last fall. Then out of nowhere she left and I got another one. Then she left and I got another one. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he helped get me ready for graduation. Then he left and I had to talk to another supervisor. She told me she was only a temporary supervisor and there would be another new one. I finally got connected to the lady in charge of graduation but guess what. She left right before graduation. So I got stuck taking another class I didn't need in the fall and delaying graduation by six months. I signed up for this class in April and found out the day before classes started that it was canceled! I called and talked to every person before finally hearing why, the teacher quit the day before classes started. What is wrong with this place that so many people are quitting and getting fired? Fix this now because this is hurting the students who pay from their pocket or waste their financial aid.
