Very nice course and well maintained. But, skip the practice tee. They've got a nice area, but for some inexplicable reason they move the tee area very infrequently so you end up hitting off dirt while you're looking at untouched lush grass. Warm up/practice at Carl's golfland which is just down the road.
It was my daughter's birthday and everyone went out of their way to say Happy Birthday and make her day special.
As always, beautifully maintained, fast greens and pleasing to the eye......but as always, pace of play is just terrible. 5 hour rounds really sour the great course that this is.
Course in great shape. Cars were dirty and windshield were VERY hard to see through. Tried to clean it, but was told not to do it. Need to fix this.
Abaolutely unreal. I played TPC yesterday and this course demolished it. One of the highest quality golf courses public or private I have ever played. Great service and great value.
Beautiful competitive golf course. Reasonable rates. Ranger staff a bit pushy. Played with a group of seniors who were unable to get needed handicap cart flags, thus slowing play as seniors had difficulty with excessive walking around greens

Golfed the course for the first time today and it exceeded my expectations! The course was in great shape, challenging yet fair, and all of the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back!
Awesome time. Had a family outing of 13 that were treated like kings, the course was immaculate, it was everything we wanted. I m a local resident that ll be back again and give major props to the course to other players. Amazing time, Jeremy is the man, Northville Hills is the place to be.
Nice private golf club that was ideal for the wedding and reception. Good food and cold drinks. Very nice quite setting.
My husband and I had our wedding reception here and have zero regrets on that decision! The staff were professional and worked well with us any my parents. Our guests enjoyed all of the dishes except the vegetarian option. The facility was perfect for photos and parking was easy. Easy venue for those with mobility issues too. They really took care of the bride and groom, which made a huge impression on me. Didn't have to do packages like other venues do, and were reasonable with bar costs. The only think that bothered me were the banquet chairs. Maybe they have new ones by now, but they were uncomfortable. You can't go wrong with this venue!

What I like about playing NHGC is the course conditions. Tee boxes, fairways in great shape year in, year out. The staff this year are very friendly and are doing an excellent job managing the special conditions we have had to deal with.
Beautiful coarse. Friendly staff. We were there for the Fluid Power outing and even beer cart girls were super nice.

Attended a wedding and this place is very nice. The grounds were beautiful, the banquet room is on the smaller side but the way it was set up worked with the 100+ people there. The food was very good. The staff was awesome, especially our server Emma. She was on top of everything, our table never went without.

Very slow play. over 5 hours to play behind slow group and the ranger didn't even attempt to speed play. He was too busy making sure we stay on the cart path.
The best public golf course in Southeastern Michigan Always excellent service and the course is always in perfect shape.

Great course but the staff are rude and have even hung up on me on many occasions when inquiring for available tee times. Apparently asking what times are available during the week after finding out there are leagues during the week is too much for them to respond to respectfully.
For such a great course I wish I could use GolfNow to book times to avoid the staff when booking times.
Poor customer service 8.15.15. Brought it to someone's attention in the clubhouse and the manager defended the poor attitude. Not good.
The best course within 25 miles. Short but difficult holes put a premium on accuracy off the tee. I just removed a star because there is nowhere to warm up with your chipping before a round. They heavily enforce this. I removed another start because the staff does not enforce pace of play. There have been some 3 hour 9 hole rounds there when it's busy. If you can get out without a ton of people in front of you, you'll have a wonderful time!

I book tee times for a traveling Sunday morning league based in Toledo. We found Northville Hills to be a wonderful golf experience. The people in the pro shop couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. The course is in terrific shape and the greens were very fast and well maintained. The guys can't wait to return. NH is now part of our permanent rotation.

Course in good condition. Fairways are open and the greens run true. Greens can be tricky and they like to put the pin in some tough locations
The Country Club feeling at the public club price. After working at a Country Club for 10 years of my life, you can see what sets this course apart from the rest. Clean/ new carts, clean bathrooms for the wife, neatly kept range facilities, they even have cart kids that will grab your bag and clean your clubs at the end of a round. Very impressed that the missing puzzle piece is being put into the course with the new sand traps. Long overdue. The worst part of a public course is a slow pace, but the helpful ranger staff kept it to 4.5 hours round. End of the year "Toughman Tournament" is always something to look forward to.
Great course but 40 minute delay caused us to jump 2 holes to finish in time for a dinner commitment. The delay was due to an outing that appeared to have 5 or so more 4-somes than scheduled. Had 8 carts stacked up at first tee when we teed off.
Very nice course built in a very nice subdivision. Arnold Palmer designed, well maintained. Highly recommend it.

Course in very good condition, however, the geese droppings were the worst I've every seen it there.
Asked for a tee time and was told 2:24. Happened to call and was told I couldn't play 18 so they changed me to 1:30. Arrived at 1:15 and was so rushed had to walk with no cart. Was hassled by rangers for several holes. Will never go back.
Starter is maybe the least friendly person I ve ever encountered. Extremely rude and grumpy which is somewhat expected given how old he is.
Course is overpriced on how it plays. Pace of play is extremely slow. There s better value for your money elsewhere- they ve lived off the Arnold Palmer course design and it s in need of a major update/overhaul.
Have been a member here for 4 years great staff. Jeremy always makes sure I am satisfied. Very difficult course to improve in all aspects of my game. If I can score good here other courses are much easier. Highly recommend

Been in an awesome golf league for several years at NHGC! The Arnold Palmer-designed course is truly risk/reward on every hole and just when you think you got it under control you triple-bogey the next hole.
Beautifully kept golf course, wonderful greens. Sand is great.. we will be returning.. one of the nicest courses around.. youd think its private how well kept it is.

The new gas carts are spewing obnoxious fumes. Not only is this disgusting and hard to bear, it is totally inconsistent with the Country Club image that is touted.

Course is in great shape right now. Range (real grass) was in bad shape where they wanted you to hit. really nice place other than that.
We had our wedding at Northville Hills Golf Club, and it was the best decision we could have made. We live 40 minutes from the club, but places around us all seemed too "banquety". Northville Hills is a stunning venue where you will never have to share the venue with anyone else, so the entire staff is there for just you. Diane is in charge, and gave me so much advice along the way. We clicked right away, and I could tell she truly wanted our day to be magical. Jessica has a huge role there too, and she was also super knowledgeable and good to us. The waitstaff and bartenders were so skilled and friendly, I never had to worry about a thing the entire day. They set up the room for you too, so I didn't have to bother aunts and friends to set up centerpieces and decor. Everyone could just show up and have a great time.
The food was unique and incredible- definitely not "banquety". The per-plate cost is cheaper than you'd think if you don't have an open bar, but we did, and it was so worth it. We didn't have to stress about a ton of decor, because the venue is beautiful on its own. The windows, tall ceilings, and crystal lighting decorates itself. My husband and I paid for our own wedding, and every penny spent at Northville Hills Golf Club was beyond worth it.
We had about 130 guests, and could have fit up to 180. There was plenty of room to dance, walk around and talk to people, and have a photo booth in the lobby area. Outside was magical, especially at night. When you walk by the pond and look back at the building, you see the glow of lights, hear the music bumping and people laughing just oozing out of the windows and doors. You could also see so many stars, and hear distant crickets and calming wildlife.
Diane and Jessica felt like family by the end of it all, and I'm hoping one day to have an event to have hosted there once again. Do yourself a favor and have your event here. You will have burdens lifted that you didn't even know you'd have.
Great track, great layout. Variability is challenging. And......the ham sandwiches at the turn are awesome! Geezer rates are a beautiful deal. Well worth it. Worth the 40 minute drive for me.
I actually like this course alot.. it's kinda easier than you would think.. It's not crazy or super unique. But I would definitely go back
The course was in great shape even after an outing. The staff was friendly and helpfully, it was my first time there. Food was good. Pace of play was quick. I would definitely play again, partly because I would like to improve my score.

Wow this course is a hidden gem in the metro detroit area. Was able to go on their website for a hot deal and glad I did. Course is challenging and kept in great condition. Pin placement was very challenging when I went.

I have one problem. I purchased an annual pass for Northville Golf Course. However I have been prohibited from playing because of "outings". There has been no compensation for days I am "shut out".
It seems an unfair arrangement for annual pass holders.
Golf was beautiful. Course in great shape. Cart died on 14th hole out off everything at snack shack at 8 a.m. Shouldn't happen at that course. 70 bucks and your cart doesn't make 18 holes.
Probably one of the best golf experiences our travel group has had. Very personable staff, very impressive facilities and an awesome course layout in great shape. If you're in the area, try it!
Played the course today it is in beautiful shape as usual. One of my favorite courses in the area and definitely one course I like to play every single year at least once. I recommend this course to anybody that s looking for a good challenge.
overrated golf course..$67 would get a much nicer round at a lot of golf courses. In good shape but if you have seen the Truman show you know what I am saying.
I had an artery blockage examination done here. Looked like a good golf club.
Nice course. Very slow play. They had rangers, but not sure what they did. Food inside was good. Go try it out, even if you aren't playing golf.
