There for my niece's wedding. Lovely location and the staff couldn't do enough! Can't recommend this venue too much.

Love the serene and cozy rest area for academic work.

I had my pleasure of studying here at the University of Northumbria and i've had a lovely time here. Even though i'm a foreign student very far away the students have treated me as an equal.

University life here is amazing and they have so many fun activities and events to mingle with other students. Student union will help you of you have any queries regarding the university or teacher wise.

Uni library has vast amount of books and facilities are very well maintained to access and checkout. I can't begin to say how great my experience was but overall this won't forget for my lifetime.

Pricey and get very crowded during gigs
(I think they may sell more tickets than the rooms actual capacity)

Great students place. Big, good food, good drinks, good prices, good atmosphere, karaoke...

A great student union with tasty food, a chilled-out atmosphere, and plenty of cheap drinks! Whether you're killing time until your next lecture, fancy a quick snack, or you just want to get some work done, you can come here to relax by yourself or with friends.

Never had food from here. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is good; this is good if you need a casual drink before going out.

Hard to find, bar was ridiculously over priced, floor was sticky and the view wasn't great

Expensive for a student union, pints aren't great and neither is the food, staff are always stood around chatting and not working

Good sized venue. One of the best sounding venues around as well.

It's now called the Northumbria Institute. No idea why. Decent, if basic venue for gigs. Friendly staff.

The food is cheap in both quality and price but the karaoke and pub quiz nights at Habita are great. The services the SU provide are great but the bar staff and welcome desk staff are not helpful nor very knowledgeable.

There is no doubt in it, that it's the best union in the world one can have.

Really need the lines cleaned more often. The Carling tasted like it was being drank through a tramps dirty sock.

My nephew graduated from here he enjoyed his time here

The union is amazing habita does some lovely food the bbqchips with heese and bacon for 2.50 are amazing

Student union have a karaoke night which was good fun. Drinks are excellent price and food is tasty but basic.

Went to a Record Show . The place was locked and I missed an hour of the show because someone had to find someone with keys to the doors . The place is a Dump .

Impressive sound if you're in the right spot. Usual bar, nothing special.

The freshers week welcome party bbq is awful. The bbq only provides a cheeseburger or hotdogs, which is completely different from the advertising video and brochure shown. Such a disappointment. Definitely regret for purchasing the wristband

Prices are excellent, Happy Hour from 5pm - 6pm, food is ok expect a lot of students

Good place to chill and relax between lectures but it opens too late closes too early.

Came here to watch the Wrestling, not a bad venue, but it needs better seats, and the bar is a bit expensive for a uni...

Okay for students but could be a lot better. Doesnt have a great selection of draft beers or alcohol but cheap and cheerful

We went as a family, all I can say, we were really looked after by the staff. It was graduation day for some of the young men and women.

Excellent prices, very clean and the food is tailored for students. Not suitable for children.

Nice venue, good sound and nothing to obstruct the view. Preferred to Newcastle University

Very pleasant. Nice surroundings and very well priced food and drink.

Been here both for club nights a few years ago and more recently as a live music venue.

Decently sized and not too expensive, though parking isn't ideal.

Bar is a bit worn from memory, but no real complaints.

Brilliant set up for North East Calling. Everything you needed was right there.

Unable to give a detailed review as my visit was brief, but facilities seemed decent, in line with the rest if City Campus.

Not sure what it's like to learn there but I can tell you as a local the security are a nuisance if your walking through alone at night, I've been hassled more than once by them and one time they were really quite threatening bloody circled me while a bald one was clearly wanting to get stuck in, not good!

Up close with your bands, who needs a stadium this is how gigs were meant to be.

Northumbria University is a conducive place to study. Well designed environment with the state of the art learning classrooms and library. Experienced and dedicated lectures. The school is Strategically located in the Newcastle city and has good proximity to train station for easy movement. Good road networks within the school premises.
