I came here March 9th with extremely high blood pressure of 222/102. Rusty was the nurse who initially checked my pressure. He was hilarious! Then I was assigned to nurse Shelby who was just the kindest, most caring nurse! Really a wonderful, genuinely caring person. SHOUT OUT to Shelby! My doc was Doc E (Dr ElKhaliny) and again, one of the kindest, most caring persons in the medical field that I have ever encountered. THANK YOU Doc E!!! They were quick to assess and address my issue, and I went home with what I needed, my pressure lowered. I hope I shall never need their services in the future, but if so, I will definitely be back. I recommend you call ahead and ask if Doc E is on shift before coming here. Thanks!

Came in yesterday after a bad run in with food poisoning and the staff got me checked in and in treatment very quickly. The nice Dr, I'm sorry if I don't remember names I was in pain, but the Dr and nurses who attended to me Thank you very much y'all have me feeling 1000% better today. I can't thank you enough.

I took my 8 year old in there with a deep splinter and the entire staff treated her awesome! Dr. Tim King could not have been any better. He took his time with her and explained everything he was doing. We had an awesome experience from the admission to the discharge and everyone in between. We will definitely be making this our new ER.

Honestly I'm glad I showed up around shift change. The first nurse I ended up with attempted an IV. It hurt so bad I asked him to stop. He literally just left everything in the room and left didn't clean up anything. I didn't even know his name until the next shift nurse came in and told me he stated I was refusing care and she was there to get me to sign an AMA release. I explained the situation and told them I wasn't refusing treatment. I eventually got the tests I needed was able to be released home. If it wasn't for the next shift they would have just booted me to the curb on some terrible nurses say so.

Straight up worst place I have ever received help from in health care. Nurses were beyond rude, very rough, and showed no respect, towards a person who put a serious problem in your hands. Super nice doctor though who helped a lot with explaining on what was happening.

Awful health care! 5 hrs to stare a clock and ceiling. told I would get pain meds for a dislocated wrist/broken. After 4 3/4 hour gave me 1 tab of Norco! Sling too big. Crabby nurses, ignoring pt. Very rude. Never go back there!

Took my wife to this Emergency Room in July with a very serious ear blockage. We have never been to a Strio Mall Emergency Room before... and will not recommend anyone using this facility. The doctor never took a moment to even access the situation. My wife never even left the hallway chair and was still filling out her paperwork when a Nurse Practioner took 2 seconds and looked into her ear and released her with generic follow up instructions prescribing her 275.00 dollar ear drops that even shocked the Pharmacist. That had to call back and get one prescribed for 35.00.
She was only in the Emergency Room for a few minutes and we where then billed over a 1000.00.
We then went to an Audioigist who surgically removed the blockage the same day. What an absolute waste of time to be billed for just repeating what we already knew. We complained to the main Hospital in Corpus Christi and after several employees agreed with our situation and waiting weeks we get told another physician reviewed the case and there was nothing they would do about the bill. We were arrogantly asked... "What do you want us to do fire someone?" The truth about our experience was totally discounted. I am an ex Combat Medic from the 82d Airbornde and never have I experienced such a rude phone call. We were told that because of Covid 19 they were rushing people out and where very busy.
We asked to receive the supposed review in writing but were told they would not.
We were arrogantly told that we should have known that Emergency Rooms are expensive. Their own quality control employees agreed with our situation until it went to higher ups.
There is a reason why so many reviews echo ours. Take heed. We are filing a complaint with the Texas Medical Board.
