This office does not answer their phones and discriminates against certain people. If you want your taxes done correctly, go somewhere else or you won't get a refund. staff are uneducated and unprofessional. The fault lies with your staff. The worst agency

Is a very helpful place even those is hard to qualify for either a class or traning. But in general- the personal treat one nice. Well even those if you want to take some trajning- you have to receive some kinds of human resources benefit. Besides, the waiting list to long. Wel...I never get anything but they helpe those who qualify.

Institution dedicated to helping Hispanics. English courses and different training.

They have free 3 week training courses for Security Guard, Home health attendant, maintenance, OSHA certificates....Fire Guard is also provided however there is a $25 fee(not from NMIC) to get the certificate.

I did not like anything or their service or they attended me by appointment as they said on the internet I waited 4 hours and I had to return never return

Definitely the best place for cna/ hha & security job placements ......also has good GED programs ...ask for OSY program on the 2nd floor

Staff is Def OVERWORKED and can appear rude or flippant at times , especially when it comes to answring questions! I came in late to the Workforce program , I feel like I get treated like I'm a burden ... The program director drilled me about being late when it was only my second day and I was new!! I didn't know I was signing in and getting paid for those days !!! , dont get jobs dealing with the public or social work if you don't like people .... I'm only asking questions cause this is a service you are providing to ME not the other way around .. but the positive is there are some truly great leaders within there organization such as M.S Williams and MR Blake , who clearly have not become disillusioned or jaded with there work like some of the other people are (not naming any names !!)

I have an wonderful experience with NMIC, I didn't finish the YAIP program but they still helped me obtain my TASC. Great thanks to Jamie, Zachary, Jennifer, Edwin and many more. I recommend several friends here, just hope they took my advice and applied.

The only issue is the students (applicants) who apply. I say this because they were extremely rude and unprofessional. The staff were amazing, helpful and tell you to take all you can.

A very necessary service to help anyone needing assistance in the community. Awesome employees who care about helping their neighbors with all types of services.

WOW!-What a team I had assigned to my case!

First, there s the smart, calm, insightful attorney LAURA STEVEN, hereby dubbed The Quiet storm (WHO MASTERFULLY ARTICULATED MY CASE AND WON), all the while advising and keeping in contact with me. Much appreciated!

Then there was PHILIP DUNCAN (Supervising Atty.) who impressed me as a walking Black s Law Dictionary very knowledgeable with a no-nonsense demeanor. A Virtuoso when it comes to legal jargon.

Additionally, we had MADELINE PASSARO (Assistant Supervising Atty.) smart with a spitfire personality who advised me of any potential adversities.

All in all, I wish to thank Northern Manhattan Improvement Cooperation (Legal Dept.) for the dream team they assigned me!

All I can say is they reminded me of THE MEN IN BLACK (except there were 2 beautiful, clever young ladies and 1 handsome, sharp-witted gent).
They handled my case with precision, tack and professionalism.

No one answers the phone, the call just keeps looping, real annoying

they never pick up their phone!!!!!????!!!!! i have weeks trying to reach them. wow

. Get their early. Difficult getting ahold of someone on the phone. Leave a message they will return your call.

Community organization actively involved in advocacy for seniors, elderly and immigrant in upper manhattan and the rest of the city.

This is a great place to have here in Washington Heights! It's a nonprofit organization that helps people in the community with just about everything! Whether you become US citizens, filing Income Taxes, job training, and Housing issues.

It was my first time visiting their office. I had to go their for a job orientation to apply an application for the U.S Census Buraeu.

They really help everyone as much as they can. I was always treated with a lot of respect and kindness, I spent about 6 months taking free English classes which were excellent. It was a very good experience. I can't say anything negative about them. Always with a great disposition. I being an immigrant, I felt like a family because they even helped me to apply for a job. They have different helps. You can also take classes that will prepare you for the citizenship exam.

These people have made me wait over a month on a security course. Bad service, not organized. Ive called multiple times already to explain why havent I gotten into the training

Went to see about free security training!! Okay Everything seemed to be going good in my favor , being that I was able to take the test that same day I walked in ... They told me I would know my test results within a week or so ... Nobody ever contacted me back ! Being that I have been wanting to do security for a long time I had no problem being on it calling everyday until I got in contact with somebody ( CUS EVERYTIME I CALLED I GOT A OPERATOR TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL .. I LEFT MORE THAN ONE ) IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THE LADY ( MS RIVERA ) TO actually call me back in regards to the voicemail I left .. she was kind of rude saying she got a voicemail from me and she didn't know why .. ( and I stated in the voicemail I left ) WHY !!!

when I finally got to speak with her on the phone , she stated that I didn't qualify for the program because I receive snap and Cash assistance... ( Before I even took the test I asked would that effect me in any way ) they said don't think so ) wasted my time and hopes of being excited eager and anxious for a new beginning ... PLEASE FOR FUTURE POTENTIAL CLIENTS MAKE IT CLEAR TO THEM SO NOBODY'S TIME IS WASTED!!!!
