Without much else to do lately, books have been a savior. I feel like i have already seen all of netflix but there is always a new book to enjoy!

This place is epic! The design of the library is very very cool, lots of nice features and artwork inside, and a great place to browse or study. One of the nicest libraries I ve been to.

The staff at this library makes a wonderful team. Very helpful and professional.

The staff are absolutely amazing. This is hands down one of the best libraries I ve ever been to.
They are so community focused, and even have snacks/activities for high school students during finals week.
The civic engagement and community involvement at the library is so strong, and they ll help with anything you need.

The Northbrook Public Library is 5-star--an excellent facility and a joy to visit, browse, etc.I do have a question. For quite some time, the "25-cent room' where used books may be purchased has had few books available. In response to my query I was told (1) that few books are being donated, (2) staff hasn't had time to restock the room. Today I was given a third reason--staff and volunteers get "first pick" of donated books, and carry off most of them. I do like to pick up used books there--for my use and later to distribute to nursing homes and extended care facilities. What is happening with the "25-cent room"?

Very nice library. Plenty of parking. Lots of different areas for different ages and people. I went with my 2 year old, and he loved it. It has a lot of fun puzzles and toys for young kids to play with. Plus, there is a fish tank. Obviously it has a great book selection as well. It also has a lot it study rooms and tables for working/studying. Staff is great too

Thrilled to be back at my library of choice! Lots of remodeling going on, not much seating, nothing's normal but they're letting people upstairs to work at individual tables for a couple hours at a stretch! YES!

This is a fabulous library, staff is remarkable, very helpful and they will go the extra mile to help. And the programming is outstanding - something for everyone, everyday!!
