It's OK not so much because of interference from highly educated know alls.
But from the input of local farmers and game keeper's that actually make the area what it is, with out either one the area would not be worth visiting. Think on this the next time you visit, thank the workers.
Not so much the offices handing leaflets out but they deserve credit for helping funding for some work.

Such a nice little spot. Could do with a bigger car park at the Newton under Roseberry end, but there are multiple ways of conquering this hill (from Pinchinthorpe is a favourite!). Lovely day out!!

The Moors, a place you can find complete solitude against a backdrop of astonishing natural beauty. On the other side of the coin, you could find a seaside, a pub, a village, or a bustling market town.

Lovely (though a bit wet!!) 3 days of hiking round this national park. Not the biggest hills but certainly big horizons and empty moorland to be explored. Barely saw other hikers while here. There aren t so many footpaths compared to other areas but lots of vehicle tracks on access land make navigation easy.
