Well located guest house 10mins walk from Buxton Station. The owners are knowledgeable and very welcoming. Breakfast is included and well worth the price. Rooms are a good size and seems to well insulated. I did not feel the cold at night and the room was south ish facing so got the light for most of the day. Worth the 3 night stay compared some others in the area especially as they were charging for breakfast and parking. Stay and enjoy!

Booked for a last minute getaway to Buxton. Was not disappointed; very beautiful property in a great location overlooking the lake in the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. Close to everything you want to visit. Warm welcome and lovely breakfast. Could not ask for more really.

This guest house is set in a wonderful location overlooking a lake. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is all you could wish for and our room was very comfortable. I have no qualms about rating this 5* and would love to return.

It is a great place to stay -- everything works and everyone is very helpful.

What can I say, impeccable guest house. Folks, good housekeeping and good and hearty English breakfast. Last but not least, the location, easily accessible and on the banks of a beautiful lake.

Our group had a great stay at Roseleigh. We would like to thank the owners for an enjoyable experience. Great breakfast and very professional service.

I'm giving it a three as parking was very tight and the diuble iron bedstead was small and the mattress very soft. However it is a lovely place and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.

Lovely quirky guest house with beautiful living room and view of the park and a pond. The room was ok but the remaining of this place definatelly compensates for any shortcomings. Breakfast was beautifully cooked to order, I got vegetarian breakfast and soya milk ehich is a rare commodity anywhere else. The hosts were lovely and very friendly. I will definatelly stay here again when I am in Buxton.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. The room was very clean, comfortable and we had a nice view overlooking the lake. Extra care has been put to place during this current situation and staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend.

What an amazing place and a wonderful position overlooking the park.The hotel has a small carpark along side so u can just lock up the car and leave it.The hotel itself has had a total refurb and looks great,lovely big bedroom with great views.The breakfast and the service was excellent with everything at hand,the best we've had for a long time.The great thing about the hotel is that your just a lovely stroll into town.Buxton is a great place to stay.

Located quite close to buxton station. Bang opposite the palace gardens.. elegant rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast.. to top it all, two wonderful hosts !!

Beautiful position, over looking lake,right beside the gardens,hosts are so carering and nothing is to much for them, breakfasts are amazing, Roseleigh sits on a traffic free street (Broadway), so relaxing, no hassle , a really lovely place

One of the best places I've stayed in. Lovely, friendly staff and just gorgeous. It stands right into the park and you can see all the birds milling about. The locals are just lovely as well. Highly recommend staying here

We had the pleasure of carrying out some work refurbishing the bathrooms at the guest house. We can quite easily see why it is so highly rated. Maggie and Gerard are two of the most professional people you could wish to meet, the guest house is spotless and it s location is second to none. We would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to stay in the Peak District to give them a call. We look forward to maintaining our working relationship with them over the coming years. I have visited Roseleigh on several occasions with family members and can highly recommend it. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best I have had anywhere in England and the proprietors are excellent hosts, who are also very welcoming.

Roseleigh is situated in a very attractive position overlooking the lake and is very quiet at night, even though it is only a short walk from the town. We'll definitely be visiting again as soon as we can.

I'm lucky enough to stay here pretty frequently and can't rate it enough. Wonderful, friendly staff, top breakfast and super comfy beds. Plus the lake view is stunning. A pleasure to stay here

Beautiful rooms! Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and breakfast options very good. Also very quiet, no traffic noise outside. Hosts welcoming and helpful and it was extremely clean and well kept.

Lovely B & B which feels like home from home. Very comfortable and very clean room. Substantial breakfast suited to all tastes. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Situated next to the park and lake and close to the Opera House. Only a few minutes to walk into town. It's our second visit and would definitely recommend a visit.

Beautiful setting near the town of Buxton. Have been here 4 times since 2011. The rooms are in the style of the Victorian era with home comforts. Breakfast is nice.

Comfortable, well positioned, friendly, attentive, and good breakfast.

I would say this ideally situated in the centre of town, we we put on the top floor, good view of the central part but I think this is not suitable for customers who have physical disabilities. The rooms are well appointed. Not sumptuous but good quality. The only downside I would suggest is that the place needs a good airing. Although this may have been due to the colder weather. Generally a good stay.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and view of the lake from our room. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay and the breakfast was very tasty! The bed and pillows were super comfortable too. Really loved our stay and would strongly recommend a visit to Buxton and a stay at the Roseleigh. I want to go back now!

Enjoyable stay with great hosts. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Only problem was the bedsheets came loose on the second night (not fitted) which caused some grief in the middle of the night.

Me and my wife stayed for two nights at Roseleigh. I cannot praise it enough! A fabulous B+B. Every box ticked, fantastic room, spotless, relaxing, amazing breakfast, great facilities. In a wonderful location - our room (no 11) overlooked the lake, very beautiful! All in all a superb place, expertly run. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. 5 Stars
