North York Moors National Park Authority Review

Wilderness as it comes, beautiful but it needs to be respected. Its been their longer than you and it can be very unforgiving.

Beautiful landscape. Very hilly. Not suitable for people who are sensitive to driving, as driving on these shaky roads could make you sick.

Took my grand children to Castleton Rigg to see the man on the moors statue, well worth the visit.

Excellent place for some hill walking. Can be very wet, muddy and snowy in winter. When there's good visibility the views are excellent. Cleveland way is a popular route where you'll find friendly walkers and cyclists. Lots of history and old ruins in the area. Walking routes are well sign posted.

Had a very nice meal in the cafe, there are a few good shops,a pub, toilets, lvly views long or short walks

Beautiful barren glorious hidden pockets and stunning coast

Great beaches,great moorland walks,great wildlife and great food and drink.

Fabulous walks, fantastic scenery, take a picnic & have a great day out!!!

Lovely place with lots to see and do, Heartbeat, Harry Potter, steam railway etc

Wonderful place to visit. Love the changeable scenery and weather.

Difficult question to answer because although it's a wild open space that's great to look at, the feeling is tainted because you know that the areas controlled by driven grouse shooters are being systematically destroyed. The persecution of birds of prey is rife, the moors are drained and ultimately the area is a desert, lacking diversity and apart from grouse and pheasant there's not a lot of wildlife.

Breathtaking scenery. Lovely people. Definitely worth a return visit. Our favourite county.

North Yorkshire moors a brilliant experience for everyone we took a trip to goathland (HEARTBEAT COUNTRY ) and it was amazing steam trains aidinsfield arms just like been on TV

Passed through on the Wainwright Coast to Coast trail. Great hiking. Amazing views. Will surely come back to explore further.

Pity the national park authority does not do anything to protect the birds of prey who are being persecuted by unscrupulous shooters.

Excellent place to visit loads of outstanding natural beauty and places to visit

Runswick Bay. One of the most idyllic beauty spots in the UK. My first port of call when on Holiday. Try the Royal for lunch. Highly recommended.

So many places to go and walks to do. The scenery is stunning, many people park to see the scenery when on the road. There are lots of places around to eat and drink if needed in the towns dotted across.

High cliff is a great trek to walk, 2 ways to the top, 1 easy long slope round the side or 2 the killer walking straight up but worth the 360 views
