North Sydney Leagues Club Review

Women s bathroom stall walls are very short! There might be other redeeming factors for this venue which is why I ve given 3 stars but, come on, I don t want to feel like I m back at primary school! I m not even *that* tall!

Solid club with very good (by club standards) food options.

Refurbished club now a lot more kid friendly with a video room (Yep... Kids and their iPads and Frozen movie). Limited menu, no vegetables in sight, but not a bad meal all things considered.

One of the better leagues clubs I've been to. Great food too...but disappointed to hear the new chef is going to remove some of the favourites (i.e. Nasir Goreng!)

Norths was a great restaurant to go to bit then it's made some changes to the food system. Personally I don't like their adaptions but the food is still great quality, large, thoughtful and welcoming environment to enjoy a good dinner after work.

Food only so so and usually too salty but at least it was open on new year day so we had a place for dinner.

Came into the club not expecting much but was blown away by the friendly staff, and excellent service. the cafe made my coffee better than my normal barista, the gym is amazing, and its all very reasonably priced! They should be proud of what they are doing. I will defiantly be back

Came here for a music concert in the auditorium upstairs. Restaurant was good but gets very busy. Kids play area was a nice touch, but more of a gaming venue for the elders.

Very nice food indeed for the price. Service is always great..friendly and helpful.

We had cold showers after squash though but otherwise great

Brian Cadd & Russell Morris concert was spectacular, funny and entertaining. Norths venue was perfect and full of special atmosphere and fun. Thank you BC & RM and your team for the best night in a long time.

North's is a large and friendly Club nestled in Cammeray. Loads of Beers on Tap, Great Food, lots of HD screens to watch Sport, a sizeable Gym, large Auditorium all provide plenty to Love. I am surprised to walk in and see how popular this Club is on weeknights, credit to the Team there.

The food is nice but this club no longer has the warm/daggy/friendly feel of an RSL, it's just another conformist hipster-esque cafe/restaurant.

Has a large dining area and bar area with bar, cafe and meals counter separate. However, they only use one barista, who has to be cashier for coffee as well as meals, and she is overworked and therefore very slow to serve customers and making coffee

Casual pub that has been updated with modern fare and an excellent beer selection on tap. Suitable for groups and families. Traditional RSL rules and etiquette apply.

Great family atmosphere- with an extensive range of menu options to suit most tastes-& a diverse beer range.

Refurbished and a reasonably priced alternative for a family midweek feed. Comes with a gym and concert venue.

A beautiful club with friendly helpful staff. The decor is elegant and welcoming.

Club member. I use the pool facilities. Have dinner there at least twice a week.

I far change from when i came here in early 2000's. Bit pricey but very nice. Came to watch live kickboxing which was a great setup

Despite the fact that you have to sign up for a membership if you dont live in the local area.... This place is fancy!! It is well priced and really nice for what you get.

When you sign up you get a large meal discount that basically neglects the sign up fee. Well worth it.

The food and service were very good, and if you are a member, drink prices are good

Went in after vivid & meals in the dining room had sadly closed .. So we got Dominos Pizza on rhe way home!

Like the freshening up of the decor, not your usual club atmosphere. Nice staff that know product & if they don't will get assistance

I only visit for the food, which is adequate but not inexpensive. Good parking

$70 for a ticketed event, room was crammed full, all seats taken, was told to "stand up the back wherever you can", the back being in front of people sitting at tables at the back of the room or behind the huge line of people waiting for the bar.

UPDATE: Security just shuffled on a woman on crutches for standing near a clearway (the only places still available to stand) without finding her somewhere to sit, loving it.

Wednesday kids eat free. Wish they can have more of these days.
Monthly special is good but daily special would be better.

Nice enough venue except for the impossibly tight parking area. This is an issue which has not been adequately addressed over numerous club refurbishments.

Good food, however on a busy night it can take a while for your food to get to you. Overall a good place to go for dinner.

Good food. We went to watch the rugby both codes at the same time. It was good as they had big screens side by side.

an extremely corrupt management and the ceo luke simmons have failed to deal with our complaint professionally.

1. An incident occurred on 13 June 2014.

2. 4 letters were written to the ceo Luke simmons and no reply had been received to date.

3. We have given our barristers details to Luke simmons and still no reply to date.

4. We have been refused entrance to the club without notice or letters to confront the board.

5. Daniel is a young over zealous manager who has lied to the ceo giving false information against us.

6. We have paid $100 dollars to become life time members.

7. The manager has allowed intoxicated people to be served on numerous occasions.

8. Police have been called on many occasions.

9. The NSW liquor and gaming licence board will be sent a copy of our complaints.

10. It is certain that the board of directors have not been informed about management poor and unacceptable behaviour, we are seriously considering suing the club.

11. We have had our silver card changed to red again and the manager Daniel said "we don't play the poker machines.

12. This kind of poor and corrupt management is unacceptable and we intend to involve our Premier Mike baird and the attorney general brad hazard for investigation on the ceo and management.

13. We will not be bullied by Luke Simmons, management and security.

Fantastic stuff. Mini casino, over priced beers, alfresco dining / pokies. You can't order drinks though you can gamble in to the early hours of the morning. Disgusting food.

Good quality food, nice restaurant.
The negative point is that children are very loud so enjoying a nice quiet meal is not possible. :-(

as clubs go pretty good i guess. no HD on the tv's which makes watching sports here not so great. lots of pokies. nice gym. been refurb'ed recently so very comfortable. lots of stuff going on.

We ordered the kids pasta with no cheese and the kids schnitzel. 15 minutes later the pasta came with cheese and we said we specifically ordered it without cheese. 15 minutes later it came AGAIN with cheese and we told them we ordered it without cheese. 10 minutes later the $10 kids schnitzel came which was very small and only came with about 10 chips. 50 minutes from ordering time they finally managed to get it right and bring pasta with no cheese. The place is loud, busy and annoyingly dimmly lit. Do not recommend this place just save time and money and go somewhere else. Would've given it no stars but unfortunately you can't do that.

Went to the Gary Puckett & The Union Gap show, which was good but they need more lifts upstairs

Good facilities, with a gym and variety of areas to ready and drink. A large auditorium with stage and dance floor. Staff are very helpful. The reason for the 3 stars was because of the food. We had a large group (100+) for dining bit the food was fairly ordinary, didn't agree with my child.

Great range of food and drink at this leagues club, plus kids menu with specials! There is also a kids gaming room equipped with different gaming consoles. I love this place as it caters for families and friends

This is criminal...to be charging $23 for food that is absolutely disgusting.
Myself and the people I was with ordered the same Fish & Chips dish.

I have no idea what we were eating...but it definitely was not fish. It did not taste like fish at all, just processed garbage that you could buy in the freezer section at Coles for $5. Both the fish and chips were drenched in oil and it was extremely sickening...no one could finish their dish. To top it off they added dry and old salad with no dressing on the side!!

This is appalling! How can you get away with serving food this terrible at such ridiculous prices...we were better off going to Mcdonalds!

Actually kids don't eat free in January only one child eats free with one adult - bit of false advertising. Went there today with my children and when I went to pay and was told it doesn't apply anymore, but still says kids eat free on the website...

Enjoyed a really surprisingly good $15 Monday special sirloin with pepoer sauce. Sure it only comes with fried chips..but what do you expect for that price. Cooked exactly to my liking. The reason for 4 stars..if they had offered vegetables as an alternative ..then absolutely a 5 star rating..
