Went here recently and totally loved it. All of the food I had was amazing and I really liked the decor. It was really cute and clean. The only issue I had was that it was extremely busy and there was only one person working. He really was trying his best and I know he was going as fast as he possibly could but unfortunately the lack of staff made it difficult to get something quickly. Hopefully they will add more staff soon!

We were there for a funeral luncheon and the place seemed a tiny bit overwhelmed by our party of 20 or so people. I don't know if our hosts had made arrangements with the restaurant in advance. We were a huge group in a small and intimate bakery and there were some hiccups with our service. That being said, the food was delicious and delightful. We particularly enjoyed the lemon tarte dessert. A memorable lunch spot, delicious sandwiches and salads, good desserts.

Very cute spot! Have driven past many times finally stopped in. Had no clue they had such a full lunch bistro menu, was not prepared, but will be next time! We got a biscotti, vanilla cream puff and a chocolate mouse raspberry some cake + a pot of tea for 2 (~4 cups) for under $10. Will definitely be back to try more.

Poor presentation and low-quality ingredients. Ordered the crab caesar for delivery. The crab tasted fishy and was definitely canned, not fresh. They didn't even bother to tear or cut the romaine. It looked like they halved a head of romaine (I mean the leaves were still stuck together), threw it in the takeout box, and threw some low-quality parmesan strings on it. The dressing was pretty disgusting. I didn't even bother with the croutons and baguette.

The most authentic French Boulangerie this traveler has experienced in the States. When it takes 10 minutes to choose from the menu, it tells you how creative yet authentic the kitchen is. This is a must

If you want the BEST croissants and breads in Milwaukee, this is THE place. They also have excellent coffee drinks, and hot egg breakfasts as well. A great place to meet up with an old friend for a long chat.

Bottom line though, I Connot recommend the almond croissant enough, a load of almond paste happyness wrapped in crisp buttery gluten shell. What's not to love!

The best pastry in the Milwaukee Metro area--my go to for dinner party desserts when I don't feel like baking. We also love their baguettes and lunch menu. Friendly customer service and cozy atmosphere.

Menu seems good and the service was great. I don't really care for crusty bread so my sandwich was hard to eat and cut the inside of my mouth (is there a special way to eat stuff like that??). In addition to the restaurant side, they offer coffees and teas and a bit of bakery, making it a good place to run in and grab a snack or drink as well

So disappointing...I was looking forward to a quite breakfast at home and I wanted to try a new place, so, I phoned in an order for the Spinach, Ham and Gruyere omlete and an almond croissant. Even though it was listed on the current website menu for breakfast foods, that particular omlete was not available. Apparently, it was the "Omlete of the Day" for a previous day, so I ordered the three cheese and chives omlete and an almond croissant. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told that my almond croissant was mistakenly given to another person, a walk in and, no other almond croissants were available. I didn't see anything else that I wanted, so I politely paid for my omlete. To my chagrin, the omlete they gave me was cold and dry. I can only speculate about why I received such poor customer service--I was a disappointing experience.

The food and atmosphere were nice, and our group was even discussing when we could come back. Christina, the server, was wonderful - she even helped to get the WiFi working on my laptop. Our terrible experience began when her supervisor approached her in the main dinning area and began tearing her a new one for absolutely no reason - there apparently weren't the exact amount of sugar packets at each table, and one too many flowers at one of the empty tables. He was so rude and disrespectful - it was truly humiliating.
If in fact such a conversation needed to have occurred - which it did not - it should have been conducted in private away from all of the patrons. We were made so uncomfortable by the experience we had to leave, and will never return. Which is really a shame because it seemed like such a promising location.

This is a very cute, quaint French restaurant. The walls are assigned with impressionist paintings and the space comfortable, small without feeling cramped.

The food was lovely. Their croque madame is one of my favorites in the Milwaukee area..

I ate at North Shore Boulangerie the other day and it was excellent!! I have been there before and also had awesome food. The food is consistently good. The desserts and breads and cookies, eclairs too!! The restaurant is quaint and reminds you of a bohemian type little place you might find in parts of Europe. Don't miss it - you won't be sorry!

Quaint dining area. The food was delicious. The potatoes are sliced thin, layered, then cooked to crispy perfection.

Ceoque monsieur was amazing.

Baked goods run low by the afternoon. I prefer the macaroons at Le Reve, but the ones here are also very good.

Adorable little french cafe in Shorewood. I had the vegetable terrine and it was delicious. Only downside is that it said it would have seasonal vegetables on it, and mine only had potatoes, but it was still seasoned really well. Will be back to try something new

I mainly come here for the croissants, as a treat with my kids before we do dropoff in the morning. They are excellent, and I'm sure the rest of their breads and sweet treats probably are as well. I may even try something new some morning, though I doubt it. Those croissants are really good :)

There Three cheese bread is the best I've tasted in all my 53 years. I slice it thick so I can put beef tenderloin in a gravy made with onion and potato starch and sometimes I do my broccoli and beef tenderloin over the bread, it's my version of SOS. s__t on a shingle.
