Some are helpful, but the majority are inept and completely useless. Why do they work at a place to help people but refuse to assist? Ruben is one such person. Yelling and using hurtful words to parents who need help with their disabled child? Disgusting and Sick. I guess they just want a pay check. Looking to see how to file a grievance report.

Terrible custermer service, no help at all. Called looking for services and the receptionist who answered was rude, and very short with me, whole conversation lasted no more than 2min. They didn't transfer me to someone who could address my question and just kept talking over me saying go on the website all services are there. My worker is no longer there and I want to know who to talk to increase my respite hrs, I couldn't even finish my sentence and she kept talking over me saying go on the website, go on the website all services are there okay.

I recently moved to Santa Clarita Valley & have been calling for 2 reasons, 1 to have my son's case transferred to the Santa Clarita office & 2 to have him reevaluated. He was evaluated by Regional Center when he was 3 1/2 years old & is now 14 years old. His caseworker worker has not called me nor the caseworker of the day or the supervisors. Anytime I need help with services I can't get ahold of anyone but when they need paperwork filled out that's when I get a call. But if I don't call back ASAP, they threaten to close his case. Not to mention his teachers or other therapists can't get a hold of anyone

Horrible, they don't return calls. And to get anything done, you have to keep hounding them. Then they have the stones to tell you, "Well you have to be a self-advocate." Even though that is exactly what you are doing when you must suffer through their level of service.

Called to ask for an application in ENGLISH and I received it in Spanish! Just because I sound Hispanic doesn't mean I understand Spanish to perfection. I consider this so discriminatory and so unprofessional. What kind of business is this to judge your English? That is so disrespectful and disappointing to ask for an application in ENGLISH and received it in Spanish!

It depends with who you deal with. There are some wonderful people, and there are some incredibly ignorant and unsympathetic people. You may have to fight hard just to get a little bit of help from those keep on blaming others. Your mileage may vary greatly.

I had the best experience with them.

I had the best experience with them.
They greeted us as we walked in, got us into a room right away, had toys for the kiddos and were professionals all the way through. The building is new, clean and I couldn't be happier with the way I was treated

They are Horrible- have been with other Regional centers and it s night and day. Their employees are actually bitter that their kids don t get services. I don t think they understand the point of the Regional Centers in general, the Lanterman Act or the American Disabilities Act (or IDEA) or even any that families with disabilities deal with, which is sad because that is the whole point of RC. They act like they are giving you free ice cream that they can t have. So unhelpful with a bad attitude.
