Expensive, but really nice. Grounds are beautiful and so are the camping sites. 4 swimming pools & 2 hot tubs + a sauna. The only complaint... The pools are always full of hair. You go under and it's possible to come up with a face full of someone else's hair. (Gross) Beside that, the place is wonderful. Great location too. Close to Foxboro Stadium, Bass Pro, Gi Joes army/Navy store, & Plainridge Casino.

I have traveled to many campgrounds and this still remains my absolute favorite. I don't even understand how it could have a negative review-- the place is INCREDIBLE and has so many recreational and outdoor activities. It's one of a kind-- I never, ever, felt bored there. There was always something to do at any age. I suggest bringing a bike and exploring.

They were limiting the number of people in the pool so it was not crowded in there they also were cleaning every 45 minutes the chairs around the pool which was perfect. Outdoor DJ was nice. 1 Bike Park and remote toy car park are amazing. It was a very hot wait so we did not play tennis or basketball. The bathrooms were very clean I'm so was the showers.

Very nice, very well managed, top notch amenities, but pricey. For this part of the country probably the best you are going to find.

Excellent zero contact Covid procedures. We received an email with a printable car pass that can be scanned at the gate. Also a link so we could check-in via a smartphone.

Mostly easy maneuvering in our 45' motorhome plus tow. Gated entry area could be challenging for newbie big rig drivers - after turing in from Thurston St. stay in the left lane coming up the hill, this will make it easier to make the 90 degree right turn to the gate.

Very long pull thru's available. One ding is electric and water were far to the rear of our site in the 900 row, so a motorhome towing may not be able to reach them without extensions. Our tow (Honda Odyssey) would just barely fit with my electric cord at full extension, leaving room for two more cars at the front of the site. We detached anyway and parked the tow in front so for us this was not an issue. On the plus side, not only were the sewer caps further forward, but there were two of them spaced well apart providing good options for all rig types.

Sites are gravel and most appeared level. Spacing between sites is relatively generous for a private park but generally lacking in privacy as one would expect, although the older sites like ours, in addition to a strip of grass, had a smattering of vegetation in between. Generally we felt quite comfortable and not cramped. The spacing of the newer sites looked a bit less generous. Most sites have very mature trees providing lots of shade, but also blocking satellite reception. Pull thru sites in the 1100, 1200 and 1300 rows are newer, have fewer trees to the south and west, so probably have good satellite reception. All sites had a fire ring which appeared to be cleaned between occupants.

Regarding internet, we had mediocre AT&T service, adequate Verizon service and the campground wifi was very good while outside our rig (1/3rd or less of the sites were populated during testing at midday). Our phones had trouble seeing the access point from inside our rig, the closest antenna was about 3 sites away.

The location is central to many area attractions and just a few minutes from I-495. Patriot place, just north on US-1 has loads of shopping and restaurants, just beware (post Covid) of traffic on game days at Gillette Stadium. Boston commuter rail stations are nearby.

All rigs should approach the campground from US-1 turing east onto Thurston St. GPS is likely to try and take you in from the other direction, but there are sections of Thurston St. just east of the campground entrance that IMO are not even small-rig friendly. There is a truck stop with truck lanes between Thurston St. and I-495 which is convenient for diesel.

Normandy Farms is the best campground hands down, ...

Normandy Farms is the best campground hands down, I wish I could live there (Literally, I looked it up but couldn't find anything). I don't even know where to start so let me just dive right in. I'd describe my experience in 3 words as Luxury, quiet, relaxing camping environment. Staff is very helpful , I'd say the security staff are okay but could use some improvement although I never had a problem with them. There are multiple (I believe 4) pools and all are squeaky clean. Normandy has many activities fun for all ages including disk golf, lodge functions, a bike park, gym , fishing pond, horseshoes and a bunch more I don't remember. I lost my jacket while on vacation here at the camp restraunt and asked a staff member if they had seen it, he asked for a description and 30 seconds later I got my jacket back (It's that kind of place). Oh yeah the restaurant at Normandy farms is amazing, it has anything and everything you could possibly want/crave including my favorite, lobster. The campsites are big scratch that the whole place is frickin huge, very kid and dog friendly. You meet the nicest people here, I was walking to the vending machine to get a drink but when I got there the bill acceptor wasn't working so I started walking to look for another one and on the way asked a guy if he knew where the closest vending machine was , he said he didn't but he offered me a nice cold coke, was very hot , like I said great people. I'm coming back to Normandy farms every year until I die and I'm in my 20s.

EDIT: Wifi worked great this year, thought I'd mention that seeing as I brought 5 internet connected devices

Couple areas I hope Normandy Farms could improve on

Discriminating against age, I know that this is probably why the campground is so peaceful and quiet but not every person in their 20s is a loud, obnoxious, campground destroyer. My girlfriend and I stayed there and we were quiet and respectful the whole time, I'm not very loud or a trouble maker, I didn't get drunk and respected the campground. Yet somehow security seemed to always be asking us questions and just watching us a little too much. I'm a computer/mobile application coder and web developer basically a nerd and not a risk to your amazing campground, I just wanted to have a nice vacation with my girlfriend ( which I did, how could you not here) but don't get me wrong was still very enjoyable like to I said just some area for improvement in my opinion ( maybe have like a zero tolerance policy for rowdyness or whatever the reason is you don't want anyone under 25 camping there.

Segways!!!!! I wanted to be extremely lazy during my vacation + the bathrooms were far from my campsite so I obviously thought my segway would be a great solution however was informed by security they weren't allowed, my solution would be a liability waiver, would've been very helpful..

Well that's it Normandy is awesome looking forward to next year.

Normandy Farms has consistently fabulous service and accommodations year-in and year-out. We spend a weekend around Halloween there every year. Sometimes we camp, but this year we rented one of the cabins. Clean and cozy with all the amenities. Public areas (pools, restrooms, etc.) are always immaculate. Dog park, bike park, and lots of other things to do on site. Plus it's close to Gillette, Wrentham Outlets and lots more.

My family comes here for at least a week every summer. We love the activities and beautiful facilities. This is one of the best campgrounds in the country and they still somehow improve every year. It's more expensive than some campgrounds but it's worth it. You get what you pay for.

This place is really special. The facilities are all first class and a lot of great stuff to do. From the dog park to the pools and sports fields it is a blast. We have always found the staff to be super nice and helpful. We camp here at least 3 or 4 times a year and highly recommend it.

Love Normandy Farms. So much to do or just relax. ...

Love Normandy Farms. So much to do or just relax. 4 pools!! With one of them. Being adult only... THAT IS THE TREASURE IN MY WEEK HERE! I love kids like anyone else but admit it, everyone needs adult time and with 3 other pools being for the family, this was the BEST change Normandy could've made. A huge thank you. Everyone at the adult pool, everyday that I went, couldn't say how much they were enjoying it. All we need now is a tiki bar with refreshments and snack!

On another note, on my 1st day at camp there was a "microburst", they called it, come through the campground. Wouldn't you know my site got hit pretty hard. My tent came down and filled with water from the hail/pouring rain. EVERYTHING was drenched.
With that storm there was concern for a nearby tree , that could've been leaning for years, but was noticed that evening so for safety concerns the grounds employees had me moved to a nearby site and had the tree removed the next day. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating
They moved all my stuff including my rebuilt tent to the new site. They offered and gave me firewood, towels to dry all my soaked items and compt me for the night! I'm very much appreciative and am sharing this to let those know, who don't already, that Normandy Farms goes all out to satisfy and keep campers happy. Thank you again NF

We had a great weekend at Normandy Farms. The RV sites are large and all have grass separating them. Other ways to camp too , yurts , safari tents and more. Beautiful buildings including the main lodge, recreation area and shower and washing machine areas. We'll be back.

This was our second trip and we had a great time once again. It was off season again so the park was very quite. They keep the place immaculate. The staff is awesome and very helpful. We will see you in two weeks to enjoy another 4 nights at this wonderful place. Our dog loves the huge dog park too.

Attended a special occasion party. It was in a big, upstairs lodge. Very comfortable, for the event, with chairs, as well as, couches, for sitting. Nice patio view, as well. Good for pictures. Employees were very nice and helpful. Nice fireplace as well.

This campground is easily one of the best I have ever gone to. The staff is always friendly, the campground is very clean, and get this, after storms, the workers go around and dump rocks and gravel on the roadway if it is washed out! I have never heard of a place doing that, which also adds to the five stars. They have almost everything you could imagine for sports, games and activities. There is never a dull moment. A suggestion would maybe think about lowering the cost of the food at the little kitchen building because it is very expensive. Also, for staying a week at this resort, it is definitely not a cheap stay. A little on the expensive side so that may be a decline to some. Overall, an obvious 5 star!!!

Was wonderfully clean, relatively quiet and very comfortable. Family oriented, perfect for my daughter to practice riding her little bike. The showers and bathroom were immaculate and the pools were great. Even when it rained, and covid is happening so some things were closed, we could still find lots to do thanks to the location. We highly recommend the safari tents. They are beautiful, I was extremely grateful for the grill with full propane, amenities and even free bundle of firewood.

Awesome campground for young kids, not so much for teens after everything shuts down at 9pm.

Pros: Good (T-Mobile) cell reception, flat sites, activities for kids, multi pools, big playgrounds, clean facilities.

Cons: pool closes early, spotty wifi, bit on the pricey side. Wristband policy doesn't make any sense

Best campground in the area! Clean, up to date facilities. There are trees in just about every site, not a desert like some campgrounds. Entertainment on the weekends and family based activities almost daily. I've yet to find a camper not happy with the campground. Indoor and outdoor pools.

9/2010: I've been to many, many campgrounds in the Northeast (and beyond), and this is one of the best. The front desk staff are excellent - well trained, courteous and intelligent. Very dod friendly (great dog park) and free biscuts at the front gate! Activities are well run and ongoing. Bathrooms/facilities are spotless 24/7. Only complaint: the woman running the front pool is brutal! No jumping into the pool? No splashing? Seriously?
UPDATE, 8/2011: back again for another week, and as much as I can't handle Patsy and Red Sox fans - I love this place!! Lesson to be learned here: a campground is about the people, and how you treat them. Rules are a good thing, if they are enforced the correct way. The place is the cleanest campsite around, and the facilities are #1. Back next year for sure...

I'm not going to say that I absolutely hated it, however there were a bunch of reservations I had about the staff. Overall it's really bad to have signs dictating what you can and can't do all around the campground and I saw those everywhere I went. I also was very rudely treated on 3 separate occasions by some of the staff. However it is a wonderful campground to go to regarding the facility very clean and very nice. Overall I had an okay time I just really wish their staff wouldn't be so rude to their customers

One thing we enjoy is the Kids Activities they have planned almost every hour of the day. Campus is very clean, well maintained and you can tell why the prices are so high! The sites are very big and lots of pull throughs which makes it easier to get in/out of your site. We do feel, the prices are rather high which is why we only camp here maybe three times a year and only during the off season. Middle of summer, it's is very busy and doesn't have the "camp feel" you get when camping in the woods or something close to that.

Very nice place, even to a seasoned RV'er. I've been RV'ing for more than a decade. This is the nicest RV park I have ever been to. The place was clean, huge, well-lit, easy to get to but not right on the side of a busy interstate. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

My family has been camping (in a small RV) avidly for the last several years ... and Normandy Farms is the most customer service and cleanliness oriented campground we've EVER been to. We're aren't big into resort style camping ... but this is the exception! It is definitely at the resort level for amenities, but they prohibit golf carts which really adds to the community feel. The grounds are beautiful ... landscaped and manicured with care. Every employee we encountered (from checking in to the person cleaning the IMMACULATE bathrooms) was friendly, helpful and kind. Apparently customer service is not dead! They have a great bike park which my 10- year-old son loved ... and a dog park that my Great Dane loved! I can't emphasize how impressed we were with this campground! Not sure if it made any difference that it was off season ... but we will definitely be returning. Literally the only negative was that you could hear highway traffic in the distance. It wasn't loud enough to be disturbing, but it took away from a quiet walk at night to listen to the "peepers".

Told them I was feeling like I was being profiled in a racial way and was sent a letter in the mail a week later stating that my family and I are no longer welcome until further notice
Like I love the place but when there is an issue being brought to light especially a racial issue u think things would be all ears but nope my freedom of speech was stomped on especially with everything going on out there
It s just sad that my voice wasn t heard but that s usually how it goes till one day the darkness comes to light

We travel all over the U.S. and hands down Normandy is the best . Being in a big rig , finding space in New England that can fit us is not easy , but Normandy does it with ease What I love is that they are always expanding and growing to accommodate the challenges of the seasonal camper and yet continue to maintain the beauty and quality their reputation demands. The pride of the staff and crew is evident every day . Family and friends love to visit this wonderful camping paradise ! Bravo for all your hard work . We love Normandy Farms

About to head back for my 16th year at Normandy, went 15 in a row and haven't gone In a couple years, if you want luxury camping this is the place to go, has plenty of amenities and it's what 15 minutes from Gillette? I've met the owners and they're some of the humblest people I've met, they really do care about this campground and as far as I'm concerned they're ever improving

This place feels like we are trapped in a box with so many rules. The staff is very rude to all ages of people and they are very disrespectful. They kicked our friends out for throwing a ball In a pool because it put people in danger even though they play a game where you can just hit people on the head with a pool nuddle and they won t stop you. Also, one of our kids got hit in the eye with a pool nuddle and he could not see out of one eye for the whole day I will never come here again. I hope anyone who reads this should take my advice.
