Why a bottle of 700ml water should cost $4.56 after check point? Wouldn't it be nicer to provide regular price bottled water if we can't take in our water due to security?

The experience was the worst I ve been to airports all around the world and have never been treated like this. The employees didn t wash their hands the had yelled at me.

It was a ghost town the Sunday after Thanksgiving. But very clean and we'll kept.

This smaller airport is so easy to get in and out of. Only 2 terminals. Good employees.

It's okay. Not a huge selection of shops or anything, but it's not super busy. The traffic nearby is hot garbage though (I guess this part of California is always like that) so plan accordingly.

A personal item was taken from my checked luggage on September 24th at Terminal A United Airlines. Neither the airport or TSA will assist me with this. Traveler beware!

Super efficient!!! We did not check bags and with the Alaska App. Check in we sailed thru security. TSA people were very friendly with no annoying delays. CLEAN facilities! N59 masks on full time!! Attention to detail definitely lessened my Covid19 paranoia!

Nice airport. Could be a lot of walking to get to gate. Delta, Alaska, and Southwest are the major carriers. Good to get away from the San Francisco chaos.
Amazing to me that there are international flights here... even if limited.

I love this Airport. It is the perfect size, easy pick up and drop off. There is a Peet's upon entry...a great Original Joes for an early breakfast flight. Superb lighting-windows.

This airport was awful. How can an airport in one of the largest cities in the US be this bad? All employees that I came in contact with were either unhelpful or down right rude. An entire section of this airport didn t have AC and did not offer nearly enough food options for all the patrons. I waited in a long (very slow) line to purchase three pre-made sandwiches, two bottles of water and a Coke that cost me $50!!!! What on earth?! Another lady purchased something they no longer had. They told her AFTER she payed and made her wait for a while, to then tell her that they didn t have it. She asked for a refund and the ONE cashier told her it would be at least 30 minutes because she said I don t know how to do it, can t you just get the chicken?

Seriously best airport ever! Small, structured in a straight line. Terminal 1 is dedicated to major airlines. There is never any lines at security. Gates are never too far.

The best part it is hardly ever rains and no fog. You can always land and take off.

There are international routes to Asia and Europe.

Meh. The airport definitely needs a makeover...especially in Terminal A. All the restaurants are in Terminal B and it kinda sucks to walk all the way over there to eat if leaving from Terminal A. The HVAC systems seem to be struggling too...it was super hot and muggy in the terminal on Tuesday.

Best airport in the states! Fast TSA line every time

I prefer this airport to SFO since it's a bit less crowded. Flight are often cheaper from here so its good to compare prices. I usually fly Southwest from here.

If you're driving from 101 to pick someone up, you can pull to the side of the road right before you enter the airport. Ask whoever you're picking up to give you a call when they are walking out so you can avoid circling around.

In my future travels, I will be sure I do NOT have a 3 hour layover at this airport, or any layover at that. Little to no options for travelers to do, dine or see during a layover.

Security may hold you bit; but airport design is nice enough to hop flight much faster after security...

Meh! It's a decent little airport. Everything is a short walk away. Rental cars are in a whole separate location outside of the airport but not too far. This is no MDW or ORD but it works.

Awesome airport. Very clean and organized. Did not have to wait long at all for luggage. Very easy to figure out where Uber and Lyft pickup is at.

I wanted to share my review with Alaska Airlines. Their employee Sunny went above and beyond, along with his fellow colleagues to help me rebook a flight I missed. As I panicked and started to let tears fall down automatically, Sunny did what he can do and rebook my flight for my husband, son and myself. I am beyond grateful for the miracle he pulled. Now we're able to see my mother in Portland. He was also able to pull some other strings for us. Thank you Sunny and Alaska Airlines employees. You have no idea how much this ment. To be stressed and be 5 months pregnant is not a combo to mix. Again, thank you.

The staff at Alaska Baggage Services is great especially Erin! Airport parking prices are garbage!

Worst ever!!! Took me 40 minutes to pass the security check!

This airport functions well. There is nothing fancy about this airport however they do have some bakery, coffee shops, Newspaper shop and Inmotion Entertainment. If you catch Delta Flights then you can park your car and come straight into the terminal which is very convenient. They do have charging spots under their seats which I haven't seen at many airports.

Avoid Mondays at SJC as they are always testing with a TSA dog. Easily delays security clearing by 30mins make sure you arrive 1hr early before your boarding time. Tip for SJC Airport how about try testing the dog at non peak work/travel hours on a Monday?

This airport is convenient and super easy to get in and out of. The only thing preventing from me from a higher rating is the absurd parking prices and lack of uber services. They force you to use the taxi service which isn't very efficient and the VTA service is unreliable. Bring Uber and Lyft to SJC!

Very clean and new appearance. They are currently putting in new restaurants so look forward to flying here again. Wish my home airport was like this one .

From helping me find a way to get food, to a good soul getting off shift helping me get a coffee. Thank you, I haven't been on a plane in so long I was overwhelmed, but they made the process much simpler. Thank you

Clean and efficient. Definitely prefer this over SFO.

Never too crowded. Flights are cheaper than SFO most of the times

Be ware of the Asian woman works in Delta check in counter, she won't give you additional help even you just got a skin grafting surgery. Not great for injured people.

Easy to navigate. Power outlets are everywhere and there is Wi-Fi, how every airport should be. TSA can be crowded here, so TSA pre check is highly recommended.

Never had a hassle here, and usually empty compared to SFO and OAK. Easier to get to from Caltrain than the other ones too

Easy access to Santa Claea County and surrounding area. Services most of the same destinations as SFO.

Great small airport. Easy to navigate and the checkpoint lines are not crazy

We went there to pick up our rental from alamo and it was already paid and booked and reserved to pick up and due to issues with the dmv we had to go through an entire rude mess with them just to get our rental . Very rude and unhelpful service.

If you are flying in or out of the Bay area fly through sjc. It's so much less terrible experience than sfo.

I had a few bad experiences with different locksmiths, but now I found the one! RNA is everything that a locksmith should be. Try them you will not be disappointed.

Fortunately only been for quick layovers, or had friends very close by that I haven't needed amenities. Not the cleanest place.

This is a model of a "perfect" airport.

Operational reasons:
Best on-time performance ranking in California.
Weather-delays are exceedingly rare - only 5 days per year.
Not overwhelmingly-busy like SFO.
Good highway/road traffic management.
Somewhat fast TSA lines.

Free ground transportation to VTA/Caltrain.
Power outlets in gate areas.
Clean and modern seating areas and bathrooms.

The best domestic carriers:
Virgin, Southwest, Jet Blue. Yay.

Negatives:
All parking (even the "economy lot") can be expensive. $20/day minimum.
Terminal B is nearly a half-mile long (!). That's about a 10 minute walk from end-to-end.

Perfectly clean and great staff always smiling and helping us get to where we needed to go. Easy to navigate and situated extremely close to all your favourite Northern California cities.

TSA pre line is closed all the time. Might as well not have it.

A consistently wonderful airport through all the transitions over the years. Good food, coffee, and drink offered throughout.

Great airport, nicer to deal with than SFO and convenient for anyone living in the south bay. Much quicker to get through security to the terminals, and signicantly quieter than SFO. There's a free bus service (VTA #10) that goes between the airport, Caltrain, and Light Rail station.

I was in and out of the the check in baggage as well as security. At this time I am at the Santa Cruz Wine bar inside waiting to board my flight. I'm drinking a Wine Bar Mimosa not the best. Service not the best either. I'm flying Southwest Airlines.

From my 6 year old son: 'This is my favorite airport but they don't have the A380. Also it's a really big airport. I like how many airplanes they have."

Great airport with great amenities. It's ironic that a facility that functions to facilitate transportation is the main reason getting around San Jose by automobile is so miserable however.

Smaller airport, exactly what you'd expect. Better signage than most. Easy to get in and out of if you know what you're doing.

Small but efficient. Exit signs are not very clear especially if they direct you to a secondary exit

I was traveling in the United States, but arrived two hours ago just in case. Although it was compact, there were several cafes and shops, and I could kill the time.

In two weeks I've had to make several trips to the most rude airport I've ever been to in my entire life! No matter how politely I asked an employee a question it was responded with rude response and attitude!

In my rush to pack and get to the airport for my international flight, I neglected to take photos of luggage contents! Upon arrival at my destination, items were clearly missing. Upon contacting the appropriate airline reps., they refused to use the word, "theft" only "Lost & Found"---Moreover---the airlines are not responsible for "Lost & Found" Good grief! They sounded real but rehearsed!!! Translation: Too bad for the customer! Moreover, I was unsuccessful in getting documents mailed (registered or certified). The staff preference was meeting me at Baggage Claim (after a transpacific flight). Ugh!

Eventually, I found the missing items and took time to notify the appropriate personnel. They were very gracious, however. Suggestion: photograph the luggage content prior to departure! It may/can remedy a lot of conjecture!

I heard it to rent a car. It is a very big airport.
There are also rental cars available for all types of rental cars.
I was able to return the car and borrow it easily.

Easy drop off for departure, same for arrivals, depending on time ( example Holidays crowds)

Friendly staff. Very chill, clean, looks newer. Well maintained, and not too noisy. If your battery run out of charge, then you will find a lot of working outlets under the seats.

New, fairly efficient airport with ample parking, a handful of decent good options and free public transportation from light rail or the Santa Clara CalTrain station.

Terrible TSA experience. Monday morning, and they only have one scanner open. Ridiculous. It's supposed to be the Silicon Valley airport, you'd think they'd have their operation running smoothly. Plus, seems like half the TSA people are just milling about chatting, while all the travelers (customers) are seething as they are missing their flights.
