Excellent pizza, wood oven, very thin crust and fresh ingredients. Full menu but we had the Eggplant Parmesan Pizza and it was delicious. Friendly, helpful staff, nice decor. I suggest it if you are in the neighborhood.

Great place, casually fun with excellent thin crust Roman style pizzas and a solid selection of cocktails, beers and wine. The happy hour from 1630-1830 is a fantastic deal and you can have a feast of personal pizzas and drinks for less than $100. Definitely planning to return.

If I could give it no stars I would. The pizza was inedible. For some reason it had fresh oregano ( which is a very distinct flavor and shouldn't be used like basil) scattered on top of the pizza. The bottom was so charred all you tasted was charred oregano and a weird salty flavor. I live in the neighborhood and was giving it another go after being disappointed when they first opened.

I am a regular here because of their happy hour pizza, which is $5 for vegetable and $7 for meat pizzas. Their spicy sopressata is excellent, as is their truffle pecorino. Advisory: their pizzas are thin crust, in what they call the Romania style; it might not be your thing unless you like crispy pizza.

Crispy, thin crust perfection, yum! Came here for the late night happy hour to satisfy a sudden pizza craving, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Spicy Soppressata, which has a touch of honey that really rounded out the amazing flavor of the meaty pizza. The candle lit, rustic atmosphere made it a cozy and very enjoyable experience

There is a good oven here and tasty pizzas, thin-crust, coming quickly as the dining room was not busy. The selection of beers is nice, you would certainly use this restaurant as one of your local spots. The tables are original and convey some warmth to space. Wood for the chimney is the theme.

Pizza is quite good. What's not on is that 20% tip is included in bill and you get asked to insert additional tip if you like! If you're not careful you don't realised 20% already included... Became quite an expensive meal.

Delicious proper Italian pizza. Very fresh and off the well-trod pizza track. The atmosphere and pricing are great too and there was just enough din to keep it lively but not enough to make conversation difficult. One pie is probably enough for two people.

Ok so the pizza was great. However, it is too loud for conversation at night. Also, we were given a plate with gum on it and were not given silverware. After we requested silverware the napkin had dough stains from another customer on it. Also, the water was really warm we were served, not lukewarm but bath water warm. I d recommend getting the pizza to go.

If i could leave 10stars i would. THE BEST pizza ever. This is Roman style with a thinner crust compared to the thicker Napolitan style at their other location. Flavors burst in my mouth. I like the margherita with regular mozzarella, as the buffala mozzarella will get runny and soggy. Crust is crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. From simple ingredients to more involved ones, WOW! This is great pizza. I wish they would expand and open a location on the mainline, maybe if Snap goes away, that's the ideal location... just nothing compares in flavor, crust and quality of ingredients. Friendly staff and very informative about their wood fire oven and why their dough is so amazing. Chuck is always so nice and friendly and so are the pizza chefs. They offer a more affordable happy hour personal sized pizza, but that just isn't enough for me. I've enjoyed their regular size pizza for many years. Best pizza ever. I can't say enough great things about this pizza, my mouth is salivating.

Pizza is my first love.

Pizza is my first love.
I have been making thin crust pizza from scratch for manny moons at my home.
Nomad's pizza is where I go for thin
crust pizza.
They make me feel at home.

The staff are soooo nice,
the pizza oven is gorgeous.

I think they even have an oven on a truck that
will go to your event.

Go during happy hour and have a salad
and a pie. mangia

Great pizza crust. Great price. Definitely one of the best in philly although quality went a little down lately (since March 2018). some ingredients quality has changed (olives, arugula, chocolate) also toppings are less well put on. Hope they go back to their usual quality.

We found this restaurant purely by smell. We parked our car with no idea where we wanted to have dinner. We got out of the car and knew we needed to eat where the smell was coming from! We were not disappointed. The service was great, the happy hour special were perfect $4 wine and beer and the pizza was on special two for the price of one! We finished our meal, warm from alcohol and our bellies full from the pizza.
If you like some spice in your life or on your pizza ask for Martin s sauce. It is a wonderful combatation of heat with a hint of sweet! It is a Habanero sauce made in house by one of the chiefs! Wish they would have allowed us to purchase it.

The pizza here is mediocre and overpriced. $18-$20 gets you a pizza with the thinnest crust imaginable. They are going for the "authentic Napoli pizza vibe" and are trying to wow you enough with presentation to make you overlook the burnt crust and the absurd pricing.

The size is also odd. It's a bit too big for one person, but nowhere near enough for two people. It makes it really hard to order the right amount. The only viable solution I've found is to order 3 pizzas for four people, but what if you have fewer or more than four? A real Naples pizza would have a slightly thicker crust and would work well for two people. It also wouldn't have a burnt-black crust.

But my least favorite thing about this restaurant is that it is so loud! When the restaurant is crowded, it's almost impossible to hear even what the person across from you is saying, let alone someone further down the table. Everyone starts shouting which only makes it even louder! A big part of the problem is that they decided to be "trendy" and have exposed brickwork walls, which is one of the worst decisions for noise volume. If you actually want to have a conversation with your friends, you should only go here when it is not totally packed, which unfortunately is almost never.

Delicious! If you like thin, crackly pizza crusts (like I do), you will love the pies here. We had the Margherita pie and a spicy sausage pie. They were both fantastic and very fresh tasting with a non-sweet sauce. The service was friendly and efficient, but not intrusive. Just a quick walk from The Kimmel Center, too!

Nomad Roman is my favorite pizza restaurant - EVER! I love how they work to source local ingredients, and everything is super fresh. The pizza crust is thin and light. It's great to eat here, as you get all the good flavor of gourmet pizza without all of the calories in a typical pie.
