Food looked mushy , we didn't get asked for our drinks. They apparently couldn't take card and between our group we had just enough cash and tip I was still at the counter making sure I would tip accordingly when the waitress said "nice tip" in a rude manner. Poor customer service

So good! Authentic and delicious. My favorite is the pulled pork, my boyfriend's is the short ribs, and my roommate's is the grilled chicken. We all argue which is really best but there's no arguing that this is the place to eat at.

I love kalua pig, rice and mac salad... a great Hawaiian plate lunch. And really it's pretty difficult to get wrong. The service at this mid-Fremont joint is okay. The cost is a little on the high side, but not excessively. The ambience is a little hospital waiting room and the service a little too just okay for the price. The kalua pork was sooooooooo rich. It wasn't terrible, but I just couldn't eat much of it because it was too rich. I feel like a jerk complaining about it, because it wasn't awful, it just wasn't great either... 3... maybe 3.5 stars .

The food, ambiance and service are excellent. Pricing is fair and the portions large enough for two to share (blalah). My only suggestion would be to have some surfing and or Hawaiian Island feature videos playing. On both of my visits the NHL was on, doesn't exactly fit the experience.

I cannot get enough of this place! They can do no wrong here, order anything that sounds good to you, pork, beef, chicken, vegetarian, anything! Your going to like it. I normally hate macaroni salad and I leave an empty plate here.

Great food with giant portions! Everything is a pretty safe bet, the rib plate is my go to! Great mac salad and fluffy rice with flavorful sauses! Being born in hawaii and moving to oregon this is my go to spot when in Portland for my plate lunch fix!

I've been going to both Noho's locations for 15 or 20 years. I can't say enough good things about both reataurants and the owner, Noho. The service is amazing, the food is authentic, portions are generous and prices are VERY reasonable. And the outdoor seating at the Fremont location is one of the best spots in Portland. If you are planning a party, consider Noho's. They will handle it all from flowers to food to cocktails to dessert.

Best food I have ever had (that includes all food). Coconut Shrimp bursting with flavor, amazing poke, Kalua pork, everything was great. Also got to spend some time with the owner, hell of a guy with some amazing stories to tell from Hawaii.

Nice little place. Wonderful food. Usually Hawaiian places are kind of "in your face," but not Noho's. Flavors were very nuanced and delicious! I like that there are small, regular and large portions for entrees.
Meats were tender and perfectly cooked. Sauces were flavorful and not overly salty or brazen.
Our server was a sweetheart, friendly and attentive.
Yes, I'll be back!

I was surprised to see Hawaiian food in the Portland area. I ordered the Kalua Pork meal large size. The large came with 3 scoops of rice, 1 scoop mac salad and the main. The medium comes with 2 scoops rice, 1 scoop mac salad and the main. They give big portions here so choose wisely lol. Also the food was very tasty.

Delicious food! Loco Moco on point the only thing is that service was a tad slow but super friendly. Parking can be tricky because it's on a busy street but tons of residential area to park in.

I love Noho's. The food is consistently good, staff is always wonderful, and when it comes to take out orders, they are absolutely on top of making your experience just as great outside the establishment.
Not to mention the delicious mai tais!

Waited 15 minutes to be seated when there was not even a customer wait. The waitress was extremely RUDE. Once seated waitresses walked right past our table multiple times before she acknowledged us, experience was poor and staff need hospitality training. I will not be returning nor suggest this place to anyone!

Saimin: I wouldn t even call it that if I was them. The soup was thin tasted like soy and water was good though. Had green onion and chunks of char siu not slices. And noodles not enough for the bowl they looked like they had come out of a package as an afterthought.
Poke: they had it but the fish was rough cut with chunks of onion chopped not diced it was a mess Kapu (Nuff said) style. My grandmother would be ashamed to serve that. Not only was it not cut nice but no marinade no sesame oil no garlic I was embarrassed for my culture.
Korean chicken menehune plate:
The rice was a ball of goo not washed cleaned but too much starch left in water. Mac salad horrible tasted like they put vinegar in the mix yuck. Mack was made low budget. The chicken was charred right but the garlic powder made have very little garlic flavor. This dish stated garlic lovers they must have gotten a divorce.

Decent sized plates, I couldn t finish it in one sitting, I felt like they were stingy with the sauce lol but the meat was flavorless although I would come come back ! They re way better than L&L !
Also I felt it a was a wee bit expensive!

This is a great location tucked in between some other spots, you might almost miss it if you're not looking for it. But do yourself a favor and look for Noho's because the food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and they care about the food they serve. We sat out on the back patio; a hidden gem of the restaurant that isn't always immediately obvious, and while it was a little windy, the atmosphere made us feel like we were on the islands. Noho's won't disappoint with the food, the portions, or the drinks, and you'll feel like family whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth.

Who knew?! There's a hidden Hawaii in the "backyard" of this Hawaiian-themed restaurant. They are especially great to work with for private parties. Where does the Happy Hour Guidebook pick for her big birthday, of all the places she's gone and loves? NoHo! Check it out -- you'll be so surprised! Make note -- this is the location on Fremont. Best in summer, but back deck is covered and heated, so you can enjoy at other times of the year too. Use your imagination, and it can seem like you're on a Hawaiian vacation!

The food is OK. The portions are extremely large. There small portion is normal size meal. There normal sized meal is extra large and is for a hearty eater. Now there hearty sized meal could feed two or three people.
The staff are very pleasent. The the food is above average.
Like all restaurants along Fremont, there is absolutely no parking and you take your life in your own hands trying to cross the street. My wife walks with a cane and it was dangerous even crossing in a marked crosswalk.

I had a combination plate of Korean chicken and Kalua pork. It was delicious and plenty of food, with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of macaroni salad, which was very yummy as well. Ernestine was a cheerful and attentive server. When she shared what they had for desert, I could not pass up the Coconut Cream Cake, their signature desert I think she told me.... it was light and amazing. Can't wait to visit there again soon.
