Noccundra Hotel
It s a wonderful example of an Outback bush pub, that should be experienced at least once in your lifetime. It s a bit out of the way, just 20klms off the road to Innamincka SA or the road from Thargomindah to Eromanga, but well worth the stopover. I stayed in a very comfortable room, others were camped across the road on the Wilson River. The dinner last night was superb, barramundi, chips and salad and the brekkie this morning was excellent. I can highly recommend it.

First overnightstop coming from Cameron Corner. The roo run on the airstrip was cool. Thought that the piper aircraft was following to close to my Nissan Patrol. Nice people running the place.

Publican was helpful and informative. Bought some great bacon and egg jaffes to eat on the drive across the border
Stopped on a long journey after travelling from Tibooburra through the Sturt National Park at the Noccundra Hotel for a great hamburger. There is friendly service, accomodation, fuel and EFTOS available at this stop, but no wi-fi!
Loved this place. Great coffee, great food and a great chat. Stayed over night at the water opposite the pub. Had dinner there too. While it s not a 5 star restaurant, the food was great considering where you are. Well worth a visit and a beer!
Very nice, just a pity about the flies and Mozzies but that's not the hotels fault.
