Will never use this local company again for my workers comp insurance. They are so unorganized not sure how they manage to stay in business. Terrible! Terrible!!!!
I give this company 0 stars. I was on workers comp and they didn't want to pay me because they sent emails stating that they needed papers from the doctors. They resent all the emails but not the ones they said they sent. They owe me for 5 weeks. They don't call you or answer, they don't send emails till you threaten them. I have to go into their office to make sure they get my paperwork. This company is one step away from getting a new A**h*le ripped and papers taking them to court for not doing their job. I'm already talking to the BBB about this as well.
This is such a good company for businesses who won Insurance workers comp social worker gets hurt on the job you don't have to pay them we pay them really good for that
My business closed permanently 6 months ago. Despite discussions with my local insurance agent, New Mexico Mutual renewed my policy shortly after I laid off all my employees. They continue to send me bills urging me to pay and threaten collections for a new policy. This company is a total scam that uses their big corporate and political power to strong arm small business owners into paying for coverage they do not need. Why do I need a renewed policy for a closed business with no employees and no payroll? The Employer FAQ page on their website says you can only contact them for address correction and all other policy changes have to go through your local agent. This is just another corporate strategy to not be accountable for their fraud. They will take my money but not my information. Total Scam.
This company has a classic case of ME INSURANCE COMPANY YOU SCREWED. When my premium tripled over night I called to dispute the change in the rate. Not only did my rate go up but New Mexico Mutual also retrospectively charged me 5,000.00 for a payroll increase that did not occur. While the dispute was ongoing I paid the new HUGE premium as well as 1700.00 in one month toward insurance i had LAST YEAR. I made repeated calls and emails....kept in touch and paid my bill all while waiting for my CPA ( who is swamped with Jan 31st work) to review the audits.. New Mexico Mutual sent my not delinquent bill to a collection agency. This company has very questionable business practices and I am thrilled to be free of them.
