I really like that Dr Brooks is very thorough and will take the time to answer all questions. It's nice when a doctor takes the time to explain your issues so that you understand them and can make the best decision for yourself. I also like that his office staff is very friendly and polite. You know that they are focused on and care for you.
This was my three year old s first time at the eye doctor and she was a little anxious about it.. especially having to wear a mask (Which is disorienting for some adults let alone children). But the staff at Advanced Eyecare made her feel at ease and made her experience a great one.
I had an emergency visit with Dr.Brooks. A small piece of metal went in my eye at work. Dr.Brooks took me in right away and took the time to make sure he removed every little piece. The office staff was very professional and I was back to work in no time! Thanks again Advanced Eyecare!!!!

I had a visit for myself last week and it was such a great experience from the facility to the staff and especially the Doctor. Everyone was patient and informed. I brought my kids there yesterday and again it was a great experience. They put my kids at ease and made it a great introduction to the office.
As I had stated in a previous survey, the office staff & doctors are great, very personable & conscientious of their patients needs. My only concern was timely appointments..I do understand there are times when there is a lot of testing & it puts constraints on other appointments which makes for a very long time in the office. But aside from that I have been coming to this office for years & plan on continuing to make my annual appointments going forward at Advanced Eyecare.
I previously went to another eye care center and didn t have a great experience. After some research, I wanted to get a second opinion and made an appointment at the Ledgewood location. I was very pleased by the staff and Doctor. Dr. Patel was very thorough with the exam. The whole process was easy and clear.
Both my 5yo and I just saw Dr. Patel for the first time. I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was knowledgeable, thorough, kind, personable. She took time to answer all questions and was especially gentle with my skeptical 5yo. The office staff was pleasant and effective. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Patel specifically.
Incredible staff, easy check in and check out process even during Covid times. Dr. Gaeta was super helpful in her recommendations. Frances whom I scheduled my appointment with did a great job of collecting all my info and making sure I had everything that they needed sent over prior to the office visit so I could get in and out quickly.
You have a patient for the foreseeable future, any one needing an eye exam even if it is first time eye exam in a long time go here. Especially if you have VSP as an eye care insurance provider.

I was with Total Eye Care in Jefferson for 7 years. I scheduled my annual appointment this week. I get a digital scan for my Retna every other year. Tests on my body/eyes are my decision. They told me I had to get the scan due to Covid policy. I said I m not getting it this year. They said the doctor will tell you to walk

From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and continually asked my concerns about any vision issues by the staff. My doctor did extensive testing to track these and monitor past vision problems. I left the office confident that all was well and am looking forward to my next follow-up.

I've been coming here since I was in the second grade (I'm now a college grad) and I've always had a good experience. The staff treats you like family and is always incredibly accommodating with your needs! They are also readily available for eye emergencies. I saw Dr. Brooks from the start but since he is now retired, I see Dr. Gaeta who is a wonderful optometrist!

Dr. Brooks was the best Optometry experience I've ever had. He was extremely thorough in his examination, and answered all my questions and concerns. His manner is kind, concerned and very detailed about corrective and preventive measures that can be taken to ensure good eye health. I've been going to the practice for several years with mixed experiences - since that doctor left I've been seeing Dr. Patel. I could not be more pleased with my visits now, she listens to my questions and gives me the information I need to feel comfortable and she is very understanding of my phobia with the pressure testing. I can't recommend her and the rest of the staff enough.

There is a complaint below about Dr. Brookes, although he is retired, I'd like to just state that I've had the exact opposite experience with him. He was always so patient and tried multiple contacts/prescriptions with me to get me comfortable with my vision. He never just sent me on my way telling me my eyes are fine. He always listened to what I had to say and was compassionate about my terrible eye issues. So I feel it was only necessary to speak of my experience due to the claim below. He was always wonderful every visit for years. I wish him the best in his retirement.

Unfortunately due to my insurance change I have not been a customer here in many years, but today while having an awful week and my glasses randomly fell apart losing a screw while out running errands, I was unable to see for about a week getting migraines and headaches. I stopped here and within three minutes I was helped, repaired and back on my way. I asked to pay, they said not to worry. For someone having a terrible week let alone tough year, thank you. That small gesture went further than you can imagine.

Everyone loves Dr. Brooks because he is a complete salesman. I have been going to him for years and have noticed that EVERY exam ends with needing to come back for another test . Recently he convinced me to get multifocal contacts and despite my constant reports of not being able to see with the contacts, he convinced me that it s the best vision I can get with the contacts. Recently I was speaking with someone at work about my experiences and theirs were the same! My coworker also reported bad vision with the contacts but Dr. Brooks just says they are fine and sends you on your way. Then, I just met another person with the same issues. Guess what? Yup, a Dr. Brooks patient. Hmmmm .
Very nice staff and my wait was not long at all. They are a bit on the pricey side.
One thing I don't like is that they had a person from the eye glass retail side sit in the room to try to get me to come over to look at glasses (my prescription changed). That means that they told her to come in while they made me wait. Don't like that.

I used advanced eye care because I had gotten some battery acid in my eye. They were called by the urgent care I initially went to. Advanced eye care made room to see me immediately, were prepared for my arrival, and everyone displayed a sense of urgency. The office staff was so incredibly pleasant and genuinely polite. My nurse and doctor (Dr. Gaeta) were fantastic. They were extremely thorough and able to explain everything going on in an understandable manner. Very professional yet personable. I usually use Walmart for my glasses and contacts, but the value and quality of care I received here at Advanced eye care, I will be using them for everything going forward. My appt. was on a Saturday afternoon and even though I arrived a few minutes late, I was promptly taken care of. Brenda was very professional when running my eye tests and Dr. Gaeta made me feel very comfortable and was super nice and friendly.
