I stay here whenever I visit the Princeton area for work. The rooms are clean and the front desk is helpful. They found me a sewing kit once after midnight as I needed to attach a broken button for a early morning meeting. The food options aren't great hence taking off a star.

I was there with my husband for New Year's Eve 201...

I was there with my husband for New Year's Eve 2017. We did not participate in the New Year's Eve event in their ballroom. However, when we got there, we were told to walk through the cocktail hour to get to the elevator. So there is my husband and I, walking with our luggage and weaving our way in and out of cocktail hour with people very dressed up and us trying not to hit anyone or anything with our luggage. We were not happy to walk through the event but we were told this was how we were to get to our room. Our room was clean - for the most part. The refrigerator was not working and on further investigation we found it was not plugged in. Behind the console where the plugs were, was a mound of dust and garbage that had never been cleaned up (used water bottle, mustard packets, etc). After plugging in the refrigerator, it didn't turn on so we called the front desk and they brought a new refrigerator. They didn't swap out the broken one, they just plugged the new one in the corner. We had dinner reservations at the restaurant in the hotel and we were given a New Year's Eve menu that didn't really have food on there that interested us. However, we chose our meal and ate. Lobster ravioli (think there were 5 raviolis total). Then we saw room service leaving as we paid our bill. So we went back to our room and called to see if we could order something from the regular menu which we did because we were both still starving. The lady that brought our room service was the same waitress we had in the restaurant. I guess she realized we were still hungry. When we settled in to watch the ball drop on tv, the tv kept cutting out (no matter what station we tried). My husband tried to investigate and said the cable wire wouldn't completely connect to the tv...it was very loose. At this point we just turned the tv off and went to bed. Honestly, the only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 was because there were no bedbugs. Definitely won't be back next year.

At 5pm they made us wait 45 mins to get our room since it was not ready and also they were trying to keep all the brides side together. When they gave us the room they put us on a totally different floor and side, far away from all the bridal rooms. Plus the room had no sofa bed but a rolling bed which was soo uncomfortable. The cleaning crew did not even have bath floor towels, did not even vacumn properly or clean.

No way that this was a 4 star hotel, me and my daughter had to switch rooms 2 times and they still didn t fix the bathroom door or air conditioner. Everything was outdated and looked used, broken tiles and, worn out furniture. Also, waitress staff was unpleasant and, nobody smiled. This is why I rate I rate them a 2 star, and I would rather stay at the Holiday Inn. Would not reccomend staying here at all.

Usually love staying here, but this particular time my room was on the atrium side just above the dining/bar area so it was very noisy and hard to sleep. The pool was also closed. Otherwise though the service was terrific as usual and the rooms are updated and wonderful.

Rude staff. recently came for a wedding and they were extremely inconsiderate towards the brides family regarding rooms already booked. Wedding reception was excellent but that was done through a private party.

This feels more about business meetings and parties rather than luxurious stay for family vacation. The facility seems a bit weathered (e.g. super old elevators and somewhat outdated interior style)but still well maintained.

Impeccable service from the front desk, the hotel operator, her name was Nicole, was more than happy to fulfill all of my requests. Ask Nicole for any amenity and she'll make sure you get it - she's a Godsend! and their breakfast buffet is to die for! It's like Sunday brunch 7 days a,week and worth every penny!

I am a bride who was looking to have my wedding at the Hyatt Princeton, but I will no longer do so as their senior sales manager was completely unaccommodating! She confirmed the appointment with our wedding planner a week prior to the More

Nice hotel with decent amenities, but had a certain cheap feeling to it. Is comfortable, and I would recommend staying there, but if you're looking for the elegance they're trying to convey you may be a little disappointed.

The hotel operator is very rude. I will never stay here again. Everyone working here has a sour attitude, the food is mediocre and over priced. The hotel room smells like mildew, the bathtub/shower area is atrocious and our room was dirty when we checked in. Housekeeping was in awe that we asked for a clean room and for candy to be picked up off the floor upon arrival.

The actual hotel was an interesting looking building. Small beds and good service. Our room key did not work on one occasion, nor did the printer in the business room. Overall solid hotel, but nothing special.

Conveniently located off Rt.1 nearby restaurants & malls, the hotel is worth the nightly rate. The front desk & other staff were courteous & quickly attended to requests for extra pillows, utensils & microwave. The balcony room was fairly clean, although I'd doubt by CDC standards which is why I gave 4 stars. In this COVID-19 era, I come with my own cleaning supplies & surfaces like doors, desktop & others weren't exactly spotless. Bedding was comfortable, room size was adequate for a last minute 1-night stay, bathroom size was generous, and parking was ample. Disappointed that the food counter which also sold adult beverages closed @ 8pm, but there was a soda machine & the pool was open for those interested. There were some noisy guests on our floor & below, however, the sound didn't seem to penetrate the walls.

Upon arrival the toilet was not working properly. Called the front desk and they knew what the problem which meant they should have fixed it prior. There was a coffee carafe by the door yet there was numerous housekeepers on the floor. That carafe was still there as we checked out the next morning. The view from the window was a lovely site of bird poop. The beds were hard. And to top it off the room keys was not working properly. You would think the Hyatt would be better.

The inside of the hotel pass the lobby was gorgeous, a photo hotspot. The dinner hall was huge, easily fitting 300-something people that went to prom. The food served wasn't as high end as I expected but still delicious and satisfying. I visited the hotel only for my senior prom so I'm unable to review the rooms.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. We forgot our chargers and hoped there would be USB ports like other hotels, but they did not. Princeton itself is a great area and the hotel is near everything.

This place was awesome. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is very friendly, regardless of how you present. My husband and I (we are a gay couple), came in clothes that were not fancy and they treated us just as well as they treated the people there for a business convention. The room was very affordable, clean, and quiet. We definitely want to stay here again.

Stayed for two nights, first was OK, the second night all guests with internal balconies enjoyed subbufer drumms of Indian wedding through the midnight! Two attempts to reach front desk ended with " please wait a moment" forever holds. Came down to complain in person - the offered to change the room at midnight ( with my son and wife in bed already). I bet the event did not came by surprise to them but no warning or suggesting was made at check in.

I've been here for events several times, and stayed twice. The facilities are quite good, and the atrium is stunning (I mean, who has an indoor koi pond? With a walkway, no less?).
Our room was not huge, but big enough to be comfortable, with enough room left over for me to set up a portrait photo shoot.

Andrew is an asset to the Princeton Hyatt location; exceptional customer style - a willingness to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
Wayne also contributed to the outstanding experience each morning at breakfast. Thank you both for caring about the Hyatt customers!
