Excellent instructor:student ratios and instructors who all gave useful and considered feedback whilst pushing us enough to progress yet not so much as to erode confidence.

Love the coaches. From never ski before to parallel turn in 4 days. Highly recommend to take their lessons. Huge thx to all my instructors, Hiro(JP), Lukas(SP), and DK(KE).

I took 5 consecutive days of lessons with NBS at Grand Hirafu Resort. Went from first time on ski's to carving powder. Kiwi Ash and Russian David were awesome instructors. They knew how to progress the lesson at the right pace and match the activity to the skill. Very happy I got good lessons and guidance.

Great Instructor, great people and you can feel the love for the sport from the whole Team.

Great place for hire of equipment or just book somr lessons

English speaking staff and instructors. Pascal gave a great introductory skiing lesson for my brother. The store/equipment storage is right by the beginners slope as well - very convenient.

Good service when you get in during down time. Gear is same as in most standard rental places - Everage. Especially boots, however convince and service are good.

Best snow I've had ever! Most staff speaks English in this place, great for tourist, definitely not the cheapest in Sapporo

Terrible experience!!! I whole heartedly would not suggest tuition with them unless you want your whole Niseko experience to be ruined!!

I booked a private ski tuition for me and my friend given he was a first time learner although I am not. We were both hoping through private tutor might bring more care and attentiveness to my friend s first time experience unlike the group lesson.

Turn out the private tutor has an extremely bad attitude problem, always keep throwing temper over my friend when he can t achieve the assigned ski skills as a first time learner, while the tutor did not give out any instructions on how to ski properly. The tutor was constantly on her phone either messaging or on calls and she was never paying any attention on us on the slopes! You can imagine just how devastated having a tutor like this for my friend s first time skiing experience.

As mentioned, I was not a first time learner, I have had lessons with quite a few other ski schools including the GoSnow, and with comparison, this is really the most awful tuition experience I have ever had!!! I shouldn t have picked NBS just because it s closer to our stay when it completely ruined our ski trip experience and my friend don t like skiing anymore after being thrown over with temper for a whole day!

Hope there will not be another victim like us!

Good place to come for lessons, powder project lessons. Great instructor.

It's beside Aya Hotel and The Vale hotel. Super easy to get to if you are staying here. The ski lift is right at the door. Booked my kids on a full day snowboard course. And lunch and hot chocolate is included in ski lesson. Able to rent the board and skis from same place. Ski lift is excluded so you have to grab it separately. But it's easy enough to walk over to next building. Return for refund is at same place. Kids enjoyed their lesson and instructor was a young man from Britain. Most if not all of the service staff is English speaking. Guess they do mostly foreigners business.

We rented a deluxe ski package and snowboard with them. The staff were very attentive and we both got great gear suited to our riding preferences and the current conditions on the mountain. We had the BEST time on the mountain on NBS gear. Highly recommend! Wish we had known they also had a location in Hakuba as we rode down there the following week and rented with Rythm whose staff was condescending and rental gear was overpriced.

One of the best kids beginner programs with attentive instructors. Highly recommend the whole day program with fewer participants in the afternoon, which means exceptional instructor--to-student ratios.

NBS is right beside the Family Ace lift chair area which make it a super convenient place to get both rental equipments and lessons. They also have a coffee booth where you can get good Australia coffee.

I rented a snowboard and boots for 4 days at the price of 16000 yen. Its slightly expensive, compared to GoodSport but you do get the benefit of storing your boards/skis in the rental shop after finish skiing or snow and the shop is right beside the family chair lift.

We rented our gear somewhere closer to our hotel. We went into the shop, but twice there was no staff to help us. The one other time they were helpful.

Covers all your essentials. Snowboarding lessons are good depending on the instructor you get. Always very busy.

Good rest point but often crowded and difficult to find seats.

The restaurant is beautiful and delicious. In particular, pork dishes and fish and chips

Both of my young boys (5&8)had never skied before we arrived in niseko in late December 2018. After one day both of them were skiing down the learner slope and had progressed to levels 1 and 2 by the end of the first day. We booked them in for the whole week of ski school and were not expecting anything major by the end of the trip.

We were pleasantly surprised that with their progression by trips end. The instructors (Gabby, Josephine and Juan) were exceptional and really connected with my kids.

Definitely coming back, definitely going to visit NBS. make sure if you hire gear that you have your instructor check it as they are really busy and my snow board bindings (for my first ever lesson) were dangerously loose - and had to be tightened by my instructor. Lucky I was rubbish and didn't put them under any stress that day.
