Been here for a long time. One of the few companies that haven t changed hands and has the support of other NGK companies throughout the world.
If you want to stay somewhere for a decade or longer, this is the place.
Same drama and personnel problems just like any other workplace.
Programs to reduce your health premiums and almost every year pay raises and bonuses.(Exceptions have been economically driven)

There were some aspects of HR professionalism, care, and responsiveness that are great. However, those things are significantly overshadowed by the abysmal supervisor in the powder-preparation department on night-shift. I was debating rather I should create a review, but the overall supervision was so bad on one shift, they were severely understaffed the whole time. I was employed for several months. What's worse, the expectations are extremely unrealistic.

During the time of the pandemic, employees were missing an excessive amount of days due to sickness, stress, and other issues associated with the pandemic virtually everywhere. Out of 5-months, I may have missed 5-days. Compared to other companies and averages, people are missing more days. Yet, the supervisor thought those days were "Unreasonable," in the middle of a freaking pandemic! Every mistake you made, he'll count against. Yet, he completely ignored anything positive.

I came in one day dealing with depression and actually had an office conversation about mental health problems I suffer from. As a result, I tried to work one day, but my symptoms were too overwhelming so I went home. During the 3-month employee review, this inconsiderate human-being (supervisor) actually said: "He clocked in 14-minutes and went home." He also said the few days I missed put a strain on the team. Know how to solve that? Hire more people!!!!!!!

Expecting an employee to work 60-hours a week is not only unacceptable, but inhumane. How are you going to count it against an employee for not signing up for overtime? A machine broke down, and the supervisor said "I was standing around." So, I suppose to know how to fix a problem I never experienced? Then, the employees also harass new hires.

I worked at several warehouses, but this is the absolute worst one I have worked at. The supervisor(s) haven't a clue how to motivate their team and have below-average intelligence; communication is non-existent and the environment is hostile/toxic. If you don't have mental problems now, you will after working here.

NGK CERAMICS is good place to work in certain ways like good benefits and pay... managers and supervisors play favoritism to certain employees and some employees are aloud to tell lies and talk trash about fellow employees... And just try to go back to work there is impossible because they dont allow ex employees to go back to work there... And this place does not force the code conduct rules but will use rules that managers and supervisors make up...
