Shows are amazing. However poor changing facilities and my partner being refused to change our son ....as the baby changing is in the ladies toilets .... will not be attending any shows suitable for children again. My mild complaint was met with disregard and hostility from the staff on the day.

Odd theatre. Beautiful baroque style on the inside of the theatre, but they don't have staggered seating so just because you pay for an expensive ticket it doesn't mean you can see through the person's head in front of you. The preshow holding area was bleak, like a office building with minimal bar facilities, which had the cheapest swill available one brand only which was disgusting. Had to go to the mojo cafe to get a drinkable pre show wine.

Went to see 7 Days show Wed night...great show, spoilt somewhat by the terrible service at the half break. Went and stood in the queue to the bar for a couple of beers..for the 1st 10mins we didn't move, the queue seemed to be growing in front of us.Took another 10mins to get to the service counter. By this time the show had restarted, there was still at least another 25-30 people behind me,and I was informed that they had run out of beer. This was all observed by a staff member who did nothing. So , no beersies for me.
If the management company that run the theatre cant provide a full house with half time refreshments in a timely manner, and get them back in time for the 2nd act, then maybe they should try something they can do...like pick up a Mr Wippy franchise

Good view even in the cheap seats. We saw Magic Flute (bonkers). Sound was amazing. Did get really hot at the top though. So wear layers and be prepared to strip! I had to take my shoes off in the second half and my wife took off her tights in the interval. Really hot.

A beautiful little theater with the traditional style that everyone loves. The seating on the levels above are very steep, so everyone gets a great view towering over the stage. Not a place for people afraid of heights. Because it's so small, it's easy to see the performances on the stage as they are so close.

Beautifully restored, very slight raised seating with no middle isles. Perfect for central viewing, not so good if someone has to ask an entire half row to stand so they can leave to go to the bar or bathroom (and again on their return have everyone stand).
Multiple options for wheelchair seats but all of course, with no center isle, on the far side of the theatre. Lift access to all floors and accessible toilets.
No mobility parking.

Yesterday, 19th April, Sunday 1 pm, I brought my two grand daughters to see Singing in the rain. We were sitting in Stalls-A, seats 40, 41, 42. There was air conditioning blowing very cold air on us. The air was warm only when it started to rain on the stage ... ironic.
This is not the first time I have experienced malfunctioning air conditioning in St James. I was told nothing can be done about this.
I can offer a few suggestions.
Those tickets could have been discounted, with warning about the temperature.
Blankets could have been provided, just like rain ponchos were provided in first rows.
If the air conditioning can not be fixed, please do not sell these tickets at all.

Show was good, worth while seeing from different seats !!!!!
