Love the Onion Wheel. The restaurant is a throw back from the 70s, and all the better for it. Don't ever change.

Everyone raved about this place when we got to town so we ran to try it. I have no idea why this place is so popular. Cold cuts on bad bread served among a crowd that had only one female and only one person who was not as white as Wonder Bread. Bland, unexciting food served by grumpy people to grumpy people all with the added convenience of not accepting credit or debut cards.

The waitress we had was the worst waitress I've ever had the food was cold which made the whole meal not very good it'll be awhile before I go back

Place seems very dated..wasnt the cleanest place I've ever eaten at. The sub I got Italian was ok but I've had better.

I love their Italian sub with the slaw and peppers on the side.

usually pretty good to excellent. Mothers Day spent 25.00 plus tip and the three subs were cold, meat not cooked, not one sub was cut in half, not one sub had hot peppers on them, all the subs had half the meat that they usually have.

My Dad's favorite is to come here and get a corned beef sandwich on rye bread. I love the turkey and cheese on the rye. Great spot.

I have been going there years they used to have big thick subs but now they have cut back on the meat i went there today i got a Italian sub i ordered extra meat again the sme thing happens she came to the table with very little meat on the sub i complained then she came back with more meat then they tried to charge me even more and the waitresses are sorry

CASH ONLY! Its 2018, why are we still cash only? Anyway, While you get a lot of meat for your money I found the sandwiches to be lack luster at best. Everything is served hot / toasted by default which should probably be asked if that's the way someone wants it. Considering the name, the selection of meats, cheeses, and toppings was not very lengthy The waitress was just as lack luster and was more interested in talking and playing with her phone then providing service and when she did it was evident she wasn't too thrilled about having to do it. Overall it was a pretty low 3 star experience.

I love their subs. They are so large & yummy. Easy access. Can order in or out. Great variety of sandwiches, appetizers, soups, beer,wine, & meals. You won't be disappointed here! Great service & food is delivered quickly. Large restaurant, can handle large parties.

Great food just didnt like not being able to pay with a credit card. I dont carry money very often.

Portion sizes great great price but the interior and inside needs a little updating was a little disappointed that they don't take debit cards only cash I mean after all we are in the 21st century

Longtime running deli - kosher style eat in or take out restaurant. Subs are more than a mouthful. No problems with service. They do not accept credit or debit. Cash Only sales.

Cash only. Don't get me wrong, they have really great subs, but they could stand to at least mention on the phone that they don't take cards as it is the standard nowadays.

this place is like heaven on earth. my family has taken many an hour long drive just to eat here and are ALWAYS satisfied. i don't see how they make any money because the prices are so cheap and the servings are large.

ON SATURDAY FEB 28TH, 2015, MY HUSBAND AND I WENT THERE TO EAT. THE SANDWICH WAS GOOD, HOWEVER THE SANITARY ISSUES ARE BAD. I WATCHED THE GUY THAT BUSSES THE TABLES, AND CLEANS THE BATHROOMS TAKING THE UNUSED NAPKINS FROM THE TABLES AND PUTTING THEM IN A TRAY TO REUSE. NOW THIS MAN USED HIS BARE HANDS TO CLEAN THE TABLES, WHICH INCLUDES TOUCHING THE LEFT OVER FOOD AND DIRTY UTENSILS, HE THEN TOUCHED THESE NAPKINS AND PUT THEM ASIDE FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO USE. I OBSERVED HIM CARRYING THE NAPKINS IN THE BACK TO REUSE. WHAT IF HE PICKED UP DISEASES, GERMS AND GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE? THEN I OBSERVED THE MEAT CUTTERS EATING MEAT AND DRINKING FROM AN OPEN CONTAINER. WHERE IS THE ROANOKE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AT????

Absolutely the best in Roanoke for fresh sliced meats and cheeses. Also the subs are amazing with the meats packed on. Worth every penny spent here.

The New Yorker never disappoints! Good value and best deli meats in Roanoke. Pastrami on rye is perfect. Love the Kosher Klub, the Submarine is massive- enough for an army! Salads are huge! Service is fast and pleasant. Just remember to bring cash, no credit cards.

Best deli, been coming here since i was 9 and i am 41, love it, worth every dime.

I love their subs. Their service is always fast in particular the walk-in take out. Subtact with me really delicious. Only wish I lived closer.highly recommend this place.
