New york hotel trades council, employee benefit funds Reviews

I am a retired Hotel employee. I began working at New York Sheraton 870 7th Ave 10/27/77 until 3/28/93. The name changed from Sheraton to Omni Park Central to Park Central. It was a 5 star hotel. The Jackie Gleason show was filmed there in one of the rooms on the 16 th floor.The employees and staff were the best you can ask for service,courteousy and caring about the guest.We all got along as a big family. I remember Diana Ross stayed there when she performed in Central Park. I was assigned supervisor of the three floors one of which she stayed on. The experience being employed there was awesome. One of the best jobs I've ever had.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous in service. They will place you on hold for 30 mins and let the phone ring. Then hang up on you. And don't bother continue to dial in again, because they will repeat that process until you can't get a hold of anyone. I am paying montly for these employee benefits. Do not treat us as if this was free medicare. Even so, assistance would not be this terrible.

Management needs to hire more efficient workers. If Mcdonald's workers can be more efficient than this, why are you getting paid to do what you do.

Here is where common sense is at its best! They give you a 730a appointment but the clinic doesn t open until 730-735a. Most employees dont start work until 730a on the dot, or 8am. Can i give it zero stars? Pleeeease!

Local 6.. who doesn't love them?! They take care of their people!!
