The folks at new wave are incredibly compassionate, flexible and trustworthy. I was forced into a care situation with my aging mom. In addition to medical concerns she had the start of dementia. New wave provided care for her the last year of her life which ranged from light duties in the beginning for someone who didn t want the help at all but needed it! To full time care with intense physical demands. Each new need my mom encountered new wave met and exceeded with the appropriate care and staff. Mom went from rejecting their caregivers to being fully dependent and grateful for them. I cannot Say enough good things about this company.

I have worked with New Wave Home Care (NWHC) for nearly 10 years now. I am a professional fiduciary so I have had experience with many home health care agencies. NWHC is exceptional in every way - from the caregivers they provide, the oversight of the care, their system of setting up a method for me to receive updates after every caregiver shift, the assistance with ordering supplies including groceries, etc. They always go way beyond what is required and necessary to provide exemplary service.

I just called this place. They answered the phone, burped in to the phone and hung up. I have an out of state area code so I called back and they pick up and hung up again. Super Rude. That's not how you do business.

Last year I was recuperating from a broken ankle and needed a caregiver to help with some basic daily needs. I was referred to New Wave by a friend, called their office and scheduled an assessment. I was very happy that there was no cost for this.

The nurse who did the assessment was very patient and knowledgeable. She let me tall her what I thought I needed, making suggestions as to how a caregiver could help. She stated she would be preparing a plan of care that the caregiver would follow in providing my care.

The caregiver I was given was well trained; she learned my routine quickly and was very helpful. She had a great personality which made our working together very pleasant.

Based on my experience, I would highly recommend New Wave Home Care and would call them again if I needed a caregiver.

Our mom was declining and we brought her to my home so we could be with her 24/7. New Wave was referred to us by Unique Hospice (a most wonderful hospice!), and New Wave responded extremely quickly and sent the absolute perfect caregiver for an immediate night shift. She was incredible. our mom passed away that weekend. New Wave was professional and matched our needs so well, with the best caregiver, Cindy. We received beautiful flowers from New Wave when mom passed away. Incredibly thoughtful and so appreciated. We loved our experience with New Wave.

My 93 year old mother with severe dementia, has been on services with New Wave since 2014. During these intense six years she has undergone a lot of changes. When she entered their services she was walking, talking freely and sensibly (for the most part)and able to spend the night without supervision. Now she is fully dependent for transfers and feeding, she requires 24 hour supervision, and her talking is minimal. Without exception, New Wave Home Care has made every effort to accommodate changes, and has done so successfully. The caregivers are a huge blessing, they take care of her as if she were their own mother. What more could any daughter hope for? I have never felt as though they were working against me, or grumbling when a change needed to happen that might add extra work for them. Rather we are on the same team working together to make things best for mom. If mom has a gap in the schedule with caregivers getting ill or needing vacation, the other caregivers on the team work very hard to cover the gaps. This is such a gift for my mom since her dementia makes it very stressful for her to incorporate new people.
I have worked many years in the medical field in both Home Health and Hospice and I would rate this service high professionally as well as personally. Every time I call the office, they respond immediately. They always answer the phone no matter the hour. I have been given text numbers of office staff for contact as well. This is important for me since I am an out of town daughter. Sam, the owner always remembers my mom on special occasions, even when she was no longer aware of his kindness or able to thank him. The agency also has RNs who give the caregivers professional support and can be called upon when needed. Staffing is a demanding job in a Home Health Agency since needs often require immediate attention, also field staff depend on good communication from the office. The people at New Wave who hold these positions are worthy of a good deal of praise for their patience and availability. They also get a lot of credit for listening to feedback from field staff. If you are looking into home-based care, I would recommend New Wave, it is like having an extended family with built in skills to care for your loved one.

New Wave Home Care is outstanding! We have been using them for over 7 years now and couldn't be happier. Their caregivers are conscientious, thoughtful, patient, and amazing with my Mom, who has Alzheimer's Disease. Sam is always available for questions or issues that arise. We consider them family.

New Wave is a fantastic Homecare agency. Anne is great in the office and their caregivers are the best! Royce and Eliut in the office are both very engaged and helpful!

New Wave Home Care has been a life saver! We have been using them for several months now. Their business model is far superior to most other companies that I've researched by keeping everyone involved apprised of daily activity. From the CEO and the NWHC staff, to the family and even the family doctor, by providing electronic communication, everyone is on the same page. Managing a loved ones care long distance is not an easy task. NWHC will go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met and more. I can confidently recommend them highly!

My mother needed 24/7 care for 6 weeks following a difficult surgery. She was cranky and difficult most of the time, as well as following a complicated regime of medicines. New Wave Home Care caregivers were uniformly outstanding: on time, conscientious, sensitive and professional. These caregivers are well trained, and exceptionally well screened, obviously, as they are just all around good people. Five stars.
