Great place to see a live show with many places to eat, drink or visit being in the heart of Carlsbad village.. being literally across the street from transit center it has plenty of parking and opportunity to take the Coaster if you don't want to drive.
Don't miss Little Shop of Horrors this summer! Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Venue is cozy and everyone is so friendly. Conveniently located next to Handel's ice cream for a scoop before or after the show. Performers are TOP NOTCH, stage/costumes amazing. Worth every penny!
Loved "Little Shop of Horrors" when I saw it here! The theater could be considered more on the smaller side, but I would rather call it intimate because of how immersive the musical was. Had a very fun time and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show, can't wait to return for another play or just to see more of the arts that they host.
This is a fantastic 99 seat theater - they have wonderful, professional production quality. And good choice of plays. And an amazing New Works Festival. Plus the neighborhood is fun to walk around. Worth hunting for parking.
New Village Arts' production of "Around the World in 80 Days" is fantastic. We took a group of 68 6th graders and they loved it. Great job. Such a fun pre-holiday treat.
Wonderful, community theatre - both audience & cast enjoy performances. Shows are interesting & entertaining. Will definitely return. House staff outgoing & informative. Great experience.
We saw Murder for Two performed by 2 very skilled actors. It is an excellent small theatre setting that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Murder For Two- BRILLIANT! If you like theater, you will LOVE this play. Tony Houck is insane, absolutely insane (in a good way). He is a modern day Jerry Lewis, so so funny. GREAT JOB! JD Dumas was also amazing. Go see for yourself! I love this tiny theater, have never seen a bad play here.
